Turns out, this place is awesome. Clean, great staff, easy to navigate ordering and a large variety of smoothies. I'm all about the Vitality Vibes smoothie for a healthy meal replacement or the Java the Nut for a sweeter, caffeinated boost. My daughters both love the Twiggy on the kids menu and I find it so great to slip in some hidden leafy greens. Planet smoothie has given me a great way to give my girls some added vitamins and nutrients when they reject steamed vegetables or salad. They're two and three and really only want snack food and chicken nuggets. As a mom concerned about health, that doesn't fly with me, so a big thank you to PS! This location is open 7am-8pm and it's so convenient to be able to order ahead from their app and have it ready for pickup when I get there. After 5 minutes, my bowl was done and I took it with me to eat during my lunch break at work. I don't know if it was just the day I went but the to go container looked different than others I have seen from reviews. Mine looked like it was in a soup container you would get at a Chinese restaurant - the kind with a flat lid. Because of that, a lot of the peanut butter and chia seeds stuck to the lid because the lid wasn't curved. Secondly, I ordered the Funky Monkey bowl and it was missing a few ingredients. The bowl is advertised as organic açaí base with granola, banana, strawberries, peanut butter, Nutella, and chia seeds. My bowl was missing the strawberries and Nutella part. Despite all of that, the peanut butter was good and tasted natural. If I ever go back here, I'd probably just go for their smoothies.

The fruit was chopped perfectly but I found that none of it was sweet which was disappointing, however the açaí smoothie base was so it balanced perfectly. It has almost a chocolatey taste that's paired well with the fruit. There is limited seating but it is a very cozy setting with a friendly staff.

I use this gym whenever I'm passing through the Winston-Salem and Greensboro areas and it's cool that it has a Smoothie King, as I don't think most other YMCAs have that.
