They are almost impossible to reach. Had an issue and wanted to call as it should have still been covered under warranty. No active phone number. They went out of business and then someone purchased them and opened again. My device was a Juiced Bike Horn. It worked great till it didn't. So in the end I purchased a new horn from a different company. Cheaper and appears to be the same horn. Feel bad for those who purchased e-bikes. read more

Well, I took the plunge and splurged on a Trek Allant 8.S --- bought a used one at half off retail, which means for just a little less than what I paid for the Juiced CCX that I have now just resold at a fraction of paid price. Warning: resale value on these bikes sucks! And yep, the upgrade was 100% worth it. Wish I had just spent more money and gotten the Trek from the get go. It's such a better bike in every way, especially in how solid and safe it feels on the road due to the wider tires and far better ergonomics, plus more robust motor and at least 20lbs lighter weight. More importantly, when the time comes for me to replace the battery, I know I won't have to rely on the erratic inventory and customer service that Juiced now inflicts on its customers after the latest round of cost-cutting. read more

One (1) of my electric Juiced bikes recently lost power while I was riding, potentially causing serious bodily injury to me had I lost control while riding in the street, crossing an intersection or riding down hill. Juiced Bikes informed me that they were going to provide me with a quote to diagnose and correct my technical/safety issue. After being patient and following up with polite inquires, their customer support completely ignored me. I then politely contacted their CEO to inquire about the non response from customer support, and their CEO ignored me and provided no response or feedback whatsoever. This shows a complete lack of customer service as well as a complete lack of interest in supporting and correcting my technical and safety concerns. I only have about 200 miles on my bike, buying it brand new, and it already broke down. This IS NOT customer support, customer service, or the quality you would expect by any means from buying products that cost thousands of dollars. If anyone is in doubt or makes a request, I will publicly release all my e-mail communications I had with Juiced Bikes that resulted in NO Help at all. read more

I placed an order for a pair of 26x4 kinds rip current tires and some tire protection liners at a good value. But, when I received my order today it had a pair of low branded tires named "love tire" made im China type. I was disgusted to say the least. But, once I reached out to their team a guy named Greg took very good of me and replaced my order immediately. He simply told me how mistakes were made by someone within shipping and it would be corrected. Which it was and Greg again....replaced my order and even stated I could keep the tires that were sent by mistake. Which are the correct size, just wasn't the branding and type I originally ordered. I ordered a Ripcurrent S. It shipped out quickly and the bike seems nice overall. But I received one with a slightly bent fender and rear rack. So if I try to ride, the fender would rub on the back wheel and make a really loud noise as well as shake the fender. I tried to reach them for weeks. No one would pick up the phone or reply to emails. I then had to complain on their Facebook page and finally got a call a few days later. They told me that they did not have any new fenders in stock so they were going to take one off another unit and ship it out to me ASAP. After that, they have not shipped the fender out or replied to any of my calls/emails. It has been 6 weeks since they said they would ship out and over 2 months since I've had the bike. I guess I'm going to have to just remove the fenders and ride it that way otherwise I'll never get to ride the bike if I have to keep on waiting. If I wanted zero customer service, I could have ordered from a Chinese company with the same specs for $1k less and had the same amount of service. My wife bought a Rad bike and their customer service is excellent. If you are ok with a Class 2 bike, please go spend your money there where they actually care about their customers. read more

When I spoke to customer service in early August, I was told pirates had taken control of the shipment and it would be delayed indefinitely! When I called back again August 14th and requested a refund, I was given an attitude and told it would take about 20 days to process. It is now early October and I am still waiting to be refunded. I had to call them 2 times to just submit an issue. Here we are almost a week later and there is no response from them. I preordered a closeout hyperscorpion over memorial day weekend at a sale price with the expectation that it was to ship to me in mid July. After checking with them several times only to be told different stories about why it had not been shipped to me yet, during the last week of August(waited all summer for the bike) I decided to cancel my order because they still couldn't tell me when it would ship out. I was told I would get a full refund within 15-20 days. Now it's been a month, and I still have not received a credit on the credit card used to pay for the order originally. Of course I have emailed and been told that the refund request got "sent to management for an escalation", but still no refund. I bought a Ripcurrent new in spring of 2021. Within 1-1/2 years(out of warranty) the battery began misfunctioning, then failed completely in summer 2023. This spring(2024) I paid $600 to have the battery rebuilt. Two months later...'Error code 30' shows on the display: bike stops working completely. It's out of warranty; Juice Bike support/tech info is non-existent; problem is essentially impossible for a layman to identify or diagnose, except by buying new components($$$; if in stock!!), swapping them out, and hoping for the best; no local shop will touch it. Sadder but wiser, I should have read reviews before buying. Do not buy this brand. You have been warned. read more

Great hardware... until it breaks. Stuck in support purgatory more than one month later. I was an indiegogo backer for their new HyperScorpion line. Honestly, every aspect of the campaign up to receipt of the product was great. While they were naturally delayed by covid19, they released status videos every Friday, keeping everyone in the loop. I really appreciated the level of communication and transparency they exhibited. When I got the bike, for a glorious week it was the best bike ever. Looks great, rides great, just... great. And then a seal on the front wheel failed. It emits a constant squeaking noise that was diagnosed as a manufacturer defect by a local bike repair shop. I have been working with support for over a month now, and am no closer to resolution. I attempted to escalate by calling their phone number, but calling their phone number during business hours presents a message that summarizes as "because covid, we only do email support". Weeks at a time have passed with no response. They have thus far mailed the part once, to a completely wrong address after we discussed the correct shipping details. Direct questions in email go unanswered. Attempts to contact company via twitter have failed. A review posted to their site detailing the issues I am facing was blocked from being posted, so good to know they have unbiased reviews on their site! As of posting this, it has been radio silence for 13 days since last response. It sure would be nice to be able to ride this bike someday. The thing I keep coming back to is my issue isn't with their hardware. It's rock solid. Things break, that's normal, especially when mailing giant pieces of metal across the country. I have had their bikes before, and they are amazing. The support, or more to the point the lack of it is my sole issue, and being a direct sales company, that is a massive oversight. Having owned previous bikes from Juiced, I really hope this is something they are working to resolve, and could be considered a "temporary covid business impact", because they really do make good hardware. The lack of options to get in touch with support when they don't respond to emails really makes me feel like I am yelling into the void. It is a shame, because especially the new HyperScorpion line seems to have no real competitor in terms of power and design. My Ripcurrent S got an Error 30 on the control panel, I went thru all the trouble shooting procedures before calling then. I was a bit concerned because of all the Bad Reviews BUT let me tell you that was NOT the case. They were wonderful. The tech made a ticket and told me the new parts replacements will be at my house within a week . Got all new control parts in 5 days!! Couldnt ask for any better service. A simple read of all the bad reviews here could have saved me a lot of time and money! I have explored every option to resolve this dispute short of this review. Unfortunately, this company cares more about profits than basic customer service. I just wanted a good quality E bike, that was reliable with good customer service. I looked at the specs, and the Cross Current X seemed to fit the bill. I called Juiced in Chula Vista to see if there were any dealers, I could see that model, and test ride it. They said no that all bikes are shipped sight unseen from the manufacturer. They were very friendly on the phone, so I decided to take a chance and order one. Shipping was fast, and I had the bike in 2 days. When I opened the box, there was very minimal packing, and this were just flopping around. When I pulled the bike out of the box, there was a scratch on the down tube of the frame. The rear taillight was jammed against the fender, and the front forks were extremely low quality. They had a lot of slop in them. This bike was $2,700 out the door! At this point, I no longer wanted to keep the bike. I decided to return it and find something better. When I called them for a return the Girl on the phone was genuinely nice. When she told me they would charge a 20% "restocking" fee, I asked to speak to a manager. I just did not feel I should have to pay $540 for a bike that I opened the box and inspected. The manager never called me back. They did send a shipping label, and while I was at FedEx I inquired about the cost to ship it back. The cost was $280. I called them back and said I would be willing to cover the shipping, and never heard back. The bike was back on Friday, and I got an email said my refund would be $2,200. $500 SHORT of what I paid! I called paypal to dispute the charge. Manager called and said not only would I be charged the full $540, but that it will be delayed even further because of the dispute! UN believable. I bought bikes in the past and never have I seen such DISGRACEFUL Customer service. Moral of the story is inspect, try, and then buy. When you see a cheap Bike made in China, move on... read more

I was very happy with my Juiced ebike for quite a while, but the battery has started not charging, even though there is less than 1k miles on it. While that would not be too big of a problem, as maintenance issues do happen and I'm happy to resolve / repair as needed, my main concern is that the company has the worst, most non-responsive, least helpful, and all around terrible service that I've ever experienced. Imagine a car dealer mixed with an online phishing scam and that's how I feel as a customer right now. After numerous calls with their technical support department where they gave me a variety of differing instructions, had me go find and use a voltmeter (which the readings never got used at all), none of their reset steps had any effect. This was about two-three weeks of troubleshooting that was pointless as the battery was performing perfectly fine besides not charging. Then when they finally agreed to ship me a replacement charger, which I asked for on my first call three weeks prior, they charged me for the charger and then never shipped it. Currently it has now been over two weeks since I paid the $55 for the replacement charger and they haven't shipped it. I called earlier this week to see why they haven't shipped it timely. They said typically shipments happen within three days or less and said it will be shipped in the next day or so. Next day or so? If you didn't ship it anytime in the last two weeks and you didn't ship it after I followed up how can I expect to ever get this charger that I've paid for? As of now, my bike is still not functional and I haven't heard back or gotten any tracking information for my charger. I look forward to seeing how this is resolved and hopefully getting this bike back to working or buying something from Radpower or another competitor in the near future. read more

Well, I tried to get help from Customer Support to get my Rip Current S fixed. I gave them the serial number on the bike to get help. They couldn't find it in their system. So, after a few back and forth calls, they said sorry we couldn't help you. All customer support could do is apologize and send me to another mobile mechanic that "maybe" able to fix their bike. I got the bike because of the high specs, but I didn't realize that lack of customer support would ruined my experience with Juiced. I don't like to post negative reviews but I gave customer support a chance to help me and they let me down. Bought a Camp Scrambler. The second week of ownership the kickstand froze in the down position, stranding my 14 year old daughter. A couple of months later the key cylinder fell out while riding. The bike has been unrideable since then because without the key the bike won't start. I was temporarily able to use the bike when the cylinder fell out. But that stopped working also. Now I have a $1,000+ boat anchor. Emails to Juiced have gone unanswered. Rad Power Bikes are much better quality, my family members own several of them and they just work. read more

I ordered a horn from Juiced in mid November, 2019. The initial shipping was very slow, it took them five days just to fill the order. It arrived DOA. They offered to replace the item, which I though was very good of them. I then waited twenty three days... .twenty... three... days just for them to fill the order. By which time they couldn't even pull the box off the shelf and slap a shipping label on it. I was fed up and told them to refund my order. When I complained, they said, "you're not the only one." This is your business model?!! Well, fortunately I can buy a bike locally, I just haven't sourced a horn locally. Ended up having to purchase a new torque sensor- still didn't work. They had me purchase a new control unit- still didn't work. What a joke! I've had my Camp Scrambler for just about 2 1/2 years, and I have to say.... I should've picked a different brand. Customer service, a joke... takes them up to 4 weeks just to respond back to emails, they gave wrong information about my bike, my Camp scrambler came with a 52v/13 Ah when online says 52/15. Had to replace rear wheel (with motor) due to being told this bike was water resistant and to " JUST WIPE IT DOWN WHEN YOU GET TO YOUR DESTINATION" WRONG! I've just had it with this thing. I ordered a Juiced Bike on a Christmas deal and accidentally put in the wrong delivery address. I contacted them to correct it. I was instructed by customer service to cancel the order and reorder the bike. When I went to reorder with the correct delivery address the price went up and they refused to honor the price of my initial order. The weird thing is that the bike isn't even available yet... there would be no difference on their end had I kept the order or if they price corrected the new order. They just refuse to do it. I purchased a brand new Ripcurrent S from Juiced Bikes in early November and, unfortunately, it was a total lemon. After receiving my bike, the front fender was cracked from shipping, the front disc brake basically exploded and needed to be replaced, the controller/computer was not working well, read all zeros, and would completely shut off in the middle of a ride. After Juiced Bikes sent a third-party mobile bike mechanic over to my apartment twice, they still couldn't fix the problem. Even the mechanic said their service manual was woefully inadequate and lacking any detail as to how to repair the bike. After pleading with the company to have the bike returned several times, they kept stalling and, instead, offered me a t-shirt and a gift card for my trouble. Why would i want a t-shirt to advertise for a company that sells defective e-bikes? Very insulting. Despite over 50 emails to their customer service department and several phone calls, it took me 4 months to get a complete refund on the bike. Their customer service is seriously one of the worst i've ever experienced and i have a feeling this company put the "cart before the horse" by trying to grow too fast and not have the infrastructure to back it up. I guess in the old days, you would build a reputation from the ground up, develop a solid product, and then scale up form there. Seems like this company just started production, spent a bunch of money on online marketing, then couldn't handle problems when some defective bikes came off the line. After four months, they finally honored my request and refunded the money, and i learned a valuable lesson. From now on, i encourage anyone to buy from reputable brands that have support behind them. What if your bike breaks and you don't have anyone in your town that can repair it? I recommend asking your local bike mechanic or shop what bike brands are worth purchasing. Don't just go off of internet reviews (even mine). Please do your homework and don't just trust what online reviews are telling you. I sincerely hope Juiced bikes can figure out how to run their company properly by improving customer service, providing support for those not in San Diego to get their bikes repaired properly, because i still think their bikes are cool. But a cool bike that doesn't work and has no support nearby to fix it, is just a fancy towel rack. read more

The bikes are well built and fun to drive however the customer service is non-existent. i bought 2 scorpion bikes with horns and mirrors. the bikes arrived with 2 horns but no mirrors. one horn will not hold the charge. then my hellish saga with customer services started. after many, many emails they send the mirrors but no brackets so no way to install it. then they just stopped answering my emails. I had to threaten to put a report in BBB and miraculously communication started again. after another few mails they sent a replacement horn, no brackets. after another set of unpolite mail, I was tired at this point, they sent ONE set of brackets for my TWO sets of mirrors. it has been now 8 months and I still do not have my order fulfilled. I am dreading the time when a major component breaks and I will have to trow 4,000$ to the garbage because I cannot get a replacement. btw tried several times to call the customer help number and a prerecorded message told me they were too busy so I could not even leave a message. this, I think, shows clearly their approach to customer service. if you are considering buying something from Juiced Bikes I deeply sincerely recommend you to take your money somewhere else. read more

Twice now i have had to call Juiced Bikes and troubleshoot my Bike and each time they promptly help diagnose my problem and provided a fix. Maby the people who did not get help called on the weekend of when they are closed. I love my Juiced Rip Current and would recommend them to anyone. You do have to be a do it yourself kind of person however because their support relies on you getting involved in the fix. If you want to pay double or more for an ebike there are plenty of bike shops that will fix your bike for you but you have to purchase their bikes. I LOVE JUICED BIKES. read more

tl;dr Electrical fire within the first mile, couldn't get a refund or replacement! My Ocean Current is the single most regrettable purchase of my adult life. I learned a valuable lesson about how I should have used payments on a credit card; but I payed up front and suffered. The control circuit blew up on me and they wouldn't honor warranty. Because, I spent the two week return window repairing warped disc brakes. Then I spent 6 months trying to not get ignored while they sent faulty parts, and suggested that I couldn't plug cables together, to string me along until they sold the last of their Ocean Currents. Authorized repair services stated in their warranty don't exist. Half a year later they found someone to repair the bike. They downgraded my battery during that repair without comping me the extra money I payed. But considering the 180 degree bend on the controller cable, I'd say the engineering wasn't ever that good to handle 12ah at 48v. I'm stuck with this glitchy dumpster fire now, thanks Juiced. When Ive needed support the support team has been fast to respond (within 24hr and generally much less sometimes within 2 or 3) they have been extremely helpful providing information and links to buy replacement brake pads.
