Garbage product. They take down negative reviews on their site, so do not rely on those. I ordered a Ripcurrent S back in Jan, got it in Feb. Took it out maybe 3 times when the motor failed on me coming up a hill. Had to send in the back wheel/motor, took them a month to repair it, but then when I got it back, the bike did not work properly. So here I am in July, and the warranty is half done. They refuse to speak to me or engage in any kind of reasonable solution other than non stop trouble shooting and maintenance. I paid $2500 for a bike, not a DIY research project. I backed the Camp Scrambler in July of 2018 on Indiegogo. After reading and researching the pros/cons of campaigns, I decided to trust the (Juiced) company name and backed the Camp Scrambler. I recieved my bike Jan 3, 2019 and it was worth the wait! Packaging was outstanding, tons of thick foam protection, and the main box was double layered (Nice work Juiced). The bike was a breeze to set up. The Camp Scrambler performed better than I expected, quality of the components look and feel premium. The Scrambler screams for attention! A crowd stopper, had a quite a few people snapping pictures of the bike and asking questions where to buy, so I'm sending you a few new customers from New York City (Juiced bikes). If I had to nitpick on the Scrambler it would be on the height of the seat. I'm 5-9 and have a decent amount of room to reach the floor with my feet. However, my dad wanted to take the bike for a spin he's 5-6 with shorter legs and the seat was a tad tall for him. Perhaps we can see a future long seat Scrambler with a thinner seat or cutting down the actual frame design by 1-3 inches? This way everyone from short to tall can enjoy this wonderful bike. read more

Juiced the company: I bought a bike from them on 4/18/18 and I received it 4/21/18. I'm in the same state as Juiced. Got email updates about the status of the order. I originally bought a Cross Current Air 1.1, but then cancelled it and got the Cross Current S. I'm glad I did since I like the red much better. The shock is needed since an ebike goes 20-28 mph, when I would normally be doing 10-12 mph. If I hit a pot hole the front shock would be useful. I emailed them about a few questions and they got back to me within 24 hours. Website: Their website is pretty good. One improvement they can make is to put more geometry on that section, specifically reach and tbd. Still, I sized myself correctly based on comparing one of my current bikes with a juiced bike's geo. Videos: Youtube videos are pretty good, the how to as well as independent reviews. The bike - Cross Current S: Packing: Good, but not perfect. The left crank arm was pointed down and smashed into the bottom of the box. Maybe they can zip tie it horizontal, but it wasn't damaged. Front fork plastic piece also popped out and a piece cracked off. Assembly: Easy, but I'm handy with lots of tools and specific bike tools. You'll need a pair of wire cutters, a box cutter, allen key set. Just put the pedals on. Verify you put the left on the left and right on the right. Rotate and tighten towards the front of the bike or right is right and left is wrong, is how I remember how to tighten pedals. I used a pedal wrench but the tool kit has two wrenches. Adjust the seat height. I had to adjust the LCD to tilt back more towards me so I could read it easier. A small allen key is required. The stem was a little off center so that required loosening 3 allen bolts. The headlight also needed to be aimed. Install the front wheel. Components: Seat is a little too soft for me so I'll switch it, but it's fine for 90% of the people who will ride this bike. Grips are excellent. The rack is excellent though my cheap panniers I got from Amazon didn't really fit, so I'll get another brand of panniers. Shifters and brakes are fine. It comes with a sturdy kickstand mounted on the chainstay and not the bottom bracket area. Works well. Comes with a tool kit! See the pix. Paint: Looks great though there was a nick in the head tube. Battery life: Don't have much data. I did do a 25 mile trip with 1000 feet of climbing and the battery was down to 5 bars. Fully charged is 9 bars. I weigh 185 lbs Charging: No data. I just charge it to when the light on the charger goes to green from red. Can't say how long it took, but will update when I have more data. Ebike stuff: So when riding a regular bike, you just shift as necessary and pedal faster or slower depending on how soon you need to arrive at your destination and how tired you are. An ebike though requires another decision: There are 5 modes, Econ, 1, 2, 3, Sport so which one do I put it in? Good question. The only obvious choices are to extend battery range put it in Econ. To go as fast as possible, Sport, but even then, I can max out to 28mph in 2 and 3. This is the big question. The relationship between gear and assist mode. Initially I thought, I should just shift to the gear as if it's not an ebike so I'm in the correct gear. Then, select the assist mode based on how tired I am, how fast I want to go, and cadence I want to maintain. This was my initial theory and I'm still testing it out. Need to read the owners manual and look at youtube videos. I don't recall seeing an owners manual. Actually, there is a 6th mode, Off. You can turn the bike off and just ride it as a regular 50 lb bicycle so if you wanted a work out... or if your battery died, you can still ride it. It makes noise when it is providing assist. Watch the youtube videos. Overall, this is the best value in ebikes that I've seen. I looked at and test rode the big 3: Giant, Specialized, and Trek, but they are $3000-$6000 so they can't come close to this bike on price and performance ratio. I would recommend as an only bike. Why? You can ride as a regular bike so it is multipurpose. I have two mountain bikes, a hardtail and FS, and a street bike and I expect I'll ride this one the most. What to do with the box: I put an ad out on cl and gave it away for free. Future: I'd like to see is a Juiced hardtail mountain bike. A Cross Current S, but with 27.5" wheels, a Rock Shox, Maxxis Mountain Bike tires, a dropper seat post, lower/easier 1x gearing so larger cogs in the cassette and a smaller chain ring in front, 11 speeds. ----- Aug 2018 I've got 125 miles on it. I've thrown the chain 4 times and the chain jumps out of gear randomly. Need to adjust the rear mech. ----- Oct 2018. Just passed 200 miles on the odometer. I adjusted the rear mech and skipping out of gear stopped. Just turn the knob on the cable housing. Stem was crooked. Fixed that. Brakes squeak, leaving that. Love the bike. Wow this is a fun experience of had on a bike this thing is like a Pedego on crack. You barely pedal and it completely takes off. I love the accessibility of riding wherever I want I am not limited to where I can go bike pass roads trails. I bought a brand new Rip Current S last month, received it on 5/16 and after assembling the bike, it was apparent the rear fender was defective, poorly assembled, causing the wheel to rub up against the fender and make the bike unrideable. To be clear, this is not shipment damage. The fender is bent because of the way the screws are drilled and secured to the frame. Several emails and calls to customer service finally triggered an email that said the issue was covered under warranty and they would send FedEx tracking numbers with parts where I will be responsible for the fix. It's been 12 days since I received that email and I have yet to receive FedEx tracking numbers or new parts. The bike has sat in my living room since 5/16. I sent message to the founder, the COO, and the director of customer experience last week (5/27) and as of today (6/1), no response from anyone. Frustrated, disappointed, and feel I need to share my experience with others. Google and read reviews of other customers. My stomach sank when I did and realized my issue was not an isolated one. Exceptional customer service and support from Michelle and Patrick!!! I purchased a performance upgrade for my husband's RipCurrent S. After my husband installed the performance upgrade the panel was reading an "error 8" code. I contacted their customer service spoke to Michelle and she immediately sent me another performance kit thinking it must have been defective. To rule things out, my husband decided to place his original performance kit just so he could ride the bike. The error 8 code wouldn't go away. I spoke to Greg who made an appointment for us to drop off the bike. We met, Patrick. He is so friendly, personable, knowledgeable and kind!!!!He gave us a turnaround time of two weeks to have the bike fixed. We were amazed at how fast he had it done. We picked up the bike a week later. They replaced the motor hub, put in our performance upgrade kit and decreased the volts to help the battery life. I am very pleased with how it turned out! Terrible customer service. Extremely unprofessional and rude representative. I was asking her what kind of assembly is required for the bikes when they arrive. She seemed very frustrated with the question and proceeded to waste another 2 minutes explaining to me that there are videos on YouTube on assembly. I just wanted to know in a nutshell what needs to be assembled. Total failure on the customer service reps end. Next failure is when I started asking questions about the different models and she continued to get even more frustrated and divert the questions saying she already addressed that and in a rude tone said I'll repeat myself again. I am part of the lates Indiegogo campaign and am still waiting on my bike to arrive. Had a chance to meet them at the Oceanside event this weekend and test ride the bike I am waiting for. Very well engineered and clearly time went into this design from someone that knows how a bike should come together. Great feel, great geometry, great power. Can not wait for my City Scrambler to arrive. I also wanted to mention something that i think is hugely important. That is customer commitment. We had a little change in process about me being able to pick my bike up and save the $149.00 fee I had to pay at IGG checkout. Seems they are not going to be able to allow that since shipping is coming into multiple ports, they are moving offices, etc. So what they thought they could allow me to do they can not any longer. This is how I rate companies when something goes wrong not really due to anyones fault. They could have easily said sorry, things changed cant do it. What they did was offered me a deal (I wont go into, as I don't want someone to use it against Juiced to get the same deal) that made me feel the customer love. I am a proud owner of a camp scrambler. I made my purchase through indiegogo. I was hesitant at first but im glad i made this purchase. Best bike i've ever had. It does everything i need it to. I ride to and back from work from city to my home in the forrest. I have enough power with this bike to go up the mountains on my way home. The led light is perfect for the night. On the con side, the seat rubbed my inner thighs bad when pedaling up these hills or I would give it 5 stars. A more comfortable/durable seat would improve this bike. Out of the box the ripcurrent s did not work in 9th gear. I tried adjusting myself, then took it to REI. Neither of us could get the 9th gear to stop trying to jump into 8th. 3 adjustments, 3 test rides at REI and no fix. The REI tech recommended replacing components. It took a long time to finally contact a tech at juiced. After listening to my story, he ordered new components to replace mine to try and solve the problem. It has been two weeks, no shipping confirmation, no parts, still have the faulty 9th gear. I do like everything about the bike except this issue. The music when you are on hold all day is a song about being on hold all day and rings true. When someone spends around 5K on a couple of juiced bikes, you should take care of them! I will say, I ordered the bike on a monday evening online and it showed up by friday afternoon. That was awesome! read more

DON'T BUY A JUICED BIKE. I purchased a Cross Current X on June 15th. When it arrived on June 26th, I took it, in the box it was shipped in, to an electric bike shop to be professionally assembled. After paying for assembly and picking up the assembled bike, I discovered Juiced shipped me the incorrect model. The model they shipped was the Cross Current S2. Weaker battery, downgraded seat, no fenders and no bike rack. I contacted JUICED and they said they would ship me an upgraded battery, fenders and rack. Later that day, I researched and discovered that the Cross Current X has an upgraded seat. I again contacted JUICED and they said OOPS yes it does. Said they would ship it as well. Days later, I received the shipment. No upgraded battery. No back rack. I called JUICED customer service. Austin, my customer service rep, said the battery had been sitting, ready to be shipped, for a week. Said it required special packaging. I asked why they couldn't provide the special packing for shipment. He said it takes time.... Weekly, JUICED is shipping out Cross Current X bikes to new customers with the correct packing for the battery, but won't bother to ship my battery. They have enough bike racks for newly purchased Cross Current X's, but won't ship me mine. Their response: "We don't remove bike racks from new bikes because then we couldn't sell them." They didn't have a problem shipping mine without the rack? Today, I received a note from customer service that the battery will be shipped at a "to be determined" future date. The main reason I purchased the X is for the upgraded battery. JUICED also told me I will need to ship the incorrect weaker battery and incorrect seat back to them. No offer to pay for "special" packaging and shipping. This entire shopping experience has been time consuming and frustrating. Purchase your bike elsewhere. My wife purchased a RAD bike, and it was a no hassle and she loves it. read more

Be very careful if you buy something from them. You only have 14 days to return anything and then u r stuck with it. I bought my GF a helmet from them with a bike from somewhere else. Not a problem returning the bike but stuck with a $135.00 helmet that doesn't fit. I mean I can return it for something else but she didn't want the bike so not sure what I would return it for. At least I will ship back to get her the correct size helmet that she can wear around the house. Return policy is on there website. I just didn't look that closely. I purchased a cross current in 2017 through a bike shop that I was directed to by the Juiced website. I really have enjoyed the bike. However, my motor died in May of 2021. I have been calling and texting and emailing for 8 months. I can't ride the bike and paid over $2000 for it. I asked if they could pull a wheel from another bike so I can get back on the road. I've sent a message to the owner which was never responded to by him. Today was was told they would refund my payment for the motor. I told them that won't help me as I am stuck with a broken bike. They have no idea when motors will be available but said they'd get back to me on an ETA. I told them I get weekly emailed ads to buy a new bike. They must be able to produce a motor. I was told upper management refused my request. I asked if I could get my money back or a new bike. They said no since I bought bought it through a 3d party (through their website) . It may be a year before I can ride this expensive bike again. Do not buy an bike from the internet. Buy one from a local bike shop that has parts and can repair it. read more

I purchased a Crosscurrent from Juiced in June 2017. I have been disappointed with the quality of the bike in three areas: 1: The rear wheel of the bike was not correctly assembled when I picked it up; the spokes did not cross, leaving the wheel weak. I broke 7 spokes in the first 3 weeks, causing me to have to rebuild the whole wheel. Once I correctly rebuilt the wheel, I have had no further broken spokes. 2: The cadence sensor on the bike went bad after only 6 months of riding. While the part was eventually replaced under warranty, it took Juiced over 3 months to send us the part. Their service team was unresponsive, unhelpful, and slow. 3: The kickstand snapped off after only 6 months of use. A bike that costs this much should not develop this many issues after only 6 months of regular use commuting on paved roads. I have spent much more on maintenance than should be normal for a bike of this price point. The customer service team is unresponsive. I would not recommend purchasing from Juiced in the future. read more

Finally got my Camp Scrambler. It's been 2 weeks now and it's been nothing but fun. I bought my bike from JB's Indiegogo campaign. It took a while to deliver but that is as expected from any startup project. I wouldn't really consider JB as a startup bike company though as they have been around for some time now. However given that this is completely new model and platform they did encounter some.. maybe a lot of hiccups during process. Having said that, Tora and their team did give constant updates on their IG, FB, IGG followers. More than your typical IGG campaign updates from most of the projects I've supported in the past. In any case, I finally got my Scrambler, 5 months in the making, it's here. Bike is super solid. There are some minor things they could improve on, but overall it's 100% pure fun. read more

Purchased a bike two days ago. The $100 promo code wasn't applied to our purchase. I varified the pricing and promo codes were still as they were when I made the purchase. I emailed customer support to request that they honor the promotion. I was told due to policy and that prices vary they couldn't honor the promotion.... the same one that was still active on their website and the same promo that was active at the time of my purchase. Terrible business decision. I understand the policy but common sense says you should honor the promotion if it hasn't changed since the date of purchase. I wish I had read the countless negative reviews about this horrible company before I paid almost $2900 for a worthless piece of junk with no support. Unfortunately, I purchased a HyperScorpion only to discover that apparently $2900 spend does not even warrant an owners manual. I had a grand total of 15 minutes riding time before the problems began and the bike became unusable. Support is virtually nonexistent. Call this company and not only do they refuse to answer, but they have a message stating they are too busy and do not even allow you to leave a voicemail message. Most online messages to support are ignored. Others get rude responses, showing their complete contempt for their customers, giving links to YouTube video pages that have nothing to do with the issue and are for completely different bike models. Despite what they advertise, local bike shops refuse to work on these pieces of garbage. Now I have a nonfunctional, $2900 piece of scrap metal in my garage and no hope to get it on the road. Another business that cares less about customer service. I ordered 2 bikes , received only 1. According to company customer service, that changes the fine print of terms of service (even though they never shipped my original order). They create BS shipping practices to hide their poor service. Juiced Bikes has partnered up with KLARNA, a loan financing company, to basically circumvent their responsibility to customer sales. KLARNA wont respond to customer discourse and Juiced Bikes has no representative with KLARNA to contact. Both companies drag out time to allow NO ability to return products. It is the new type of business model scam !!! STAY AWAY FROM BOTH OF THESE COMPANIES !!! Especially since JUICED BIKES owner, TORA HARRIS, can never be reached, as I was informed owner is currently in CHINA. Do you homework, there are more professional friendly e-bike companies to shop with. Don't let them ruin your day. Have a clicking noise in the derailleur and the tech guy sends me a video on how to adjust it but from a different bike not even a juiced bike. Come to find out its the peddle that was bad. My husband and I each bought a Juiced Cross Current X bike. I read the reviews here because, I too, had several issues with my bike. Without going into those details I felt like I was getting the run around from customer service and was not getting any satisfaction to resolve my issues. We were very upset! We landed up talking to one of the managers, Josh, and he could not have been more sympathetic. He definitely "got on it" and made things happen. Roger and Guy, the bike mechanics, made sure that we were fully satisfied. I know "the Covid" has been overwhelming for businesses, especially in the recreational areas. I sincerely think that Juiced Bikes was caught off guard and has been trying very hard to keep up with the demand of their awesome bikes and is trying to work on customer service. I am a new and very proud owner of the City Scrambler. I've been a bicycle mechanic since 2011 and have seen my fair share of ebikes. As an unwritten rule, we wrenches hate working on ebikes. Having said that, this thing was a pleasure to build and is maintained with ease. I didn't even need to use my tools cause Juiced included them all. Like, a nice 3-way and some solid wrenches?! I preordered a brushed aluminium Hyper Scrambler from Juiced Bikes and it was well worth the wait. The quality of the bike is better than expected and it rides well. I use it to go to the beach and commute to work. I have not used much customer service, but the delivery process was very smooth. This bike get a ton of positive attention everywhere I ride it. The throttle function is a life saver when I get tired from pedaling out too far. read more
