We are so thrilled that JuiceLand has opened a location on east MLK. Personally, I've found them to be much more useful than Wet Whistle ever was (hipsters, don't hate me). When I'm feeling greasy from last night's burger chowdown or just want a quick/healthy meal on my way out to work, I love that I can get fresh juice here. The staff are always very pleasant and chatty. There is plenty of outdoor seating when the weather is nice. And if your significant other doesn't think a glass of juice is a real meal, you can walk with them to ADP for a sandwich (10 steps away). I'd give them the full 5 stars if they were slightly less pricey...but what can you do. That's the juice biz these days... Overall, I heart JuiceLand. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt the first 2 times, but my third time here now and the employees are rude and cold. I've been to many a JuiceLand, but was impressed with this particular location. Honestly, it doesn't take a lot to impress me. It may have been because I really liked what I ordered, but I really liked this location. I ordered a Peachy Green. I'm always appreciative of how adding vegetables to a smoothie can still taste delicious. I added honey and vanilla to it. The person who made the smoothie accidentally added banana rather than vanilla, but she offered to remake it. I declined, but asked that vanilla still be added. Adding the banana actually was a great addition to the smoothie. I think it may be why I loved it so much. I finished it hours ago, but am craving another one and may try to figure out how to make it at home myself. I was mostly impressed with the speed here. I've been to some JuiceLand's where I will order and have to wait maybe 15 minutes for my smoothie to be completed when I'm the only one in the shop. At this location, there were two people before me and I was able to get my smoothie about 5 minutes after ordering. I wish I could visit this location more often because it's small, but efficient. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of their small parking lot, but luckily with their quickness, I imagine people are in and out which makes parking available more often. Absolutely love the juice here. I've been to multiple locations here in Austin and even to the one in Houston and have never been disappointed. My go-to is the Bam-Bam, however I go for the Wundershowzen if I'm feeling a little nutty (peanut butter) or the Julio Verde if I'm feeling a little green (green smoothie). They also have snacks available for purchase and some pretty cool merchandise. Don't forget to join the rewards program! The only negative about this place is the price. Definitely quite pricey, but the tasty juice keeps me coming back and haven't found another place quite like it. read more

It's a sweet little location that is great for a quick healthy snack or meal. Veggie options galore! The staff were very friendly on my recent visit. As I started sipping my smoothie I inoticed that somehow the cucumbers were intact. Nothing like a crunchy smoothie.... It's a cute little shack that feels super hip and chill. Parking can be tight depending on the time of day so be warned. There is some indoor seating and also an outdoor area. lived in austin and around texas my whole life so juiceland isnt exactly orthodox for me. but i've loved the originator that juiceland has provided (aside from the 200% margin price) for about 6 years now. I used to go to the juiceland on burnet rd and have since started frequenting this one after moving. i don't know what the deal is, but i seem to get such a strong eye roll and level of shortness when i go in this one, normally I wouldn't care if i wasn't drinking something they prepare for me. The Originator still tastes awesome, the seemingly* strong opinions about my appearance maybe not so much. It's more uncomfortable when i come straight from work in work boots and a button down. the rest of the time i'm wearing just sweat pant shorts and crocs. just something i've noticed the last 5 or 6 visits and i wouldn't post it if the reaction wasn't night and day difference with the same workers. so weird. read more

After all the bbq, fried chicken, and overall gluttonous eating for the weekend, I was able to get a good share of my greens in from Juiceland. That being said, not many major metropolitan areas can sustain 5 local juice spots on the East Side of town--presuming that "East side" generally denotes "less fortunate." I live a couple blocks from this JuiceLand and I have to say for the short time I've lived in Austin I've been to this place more times than I'd like to admit. First of all, it's not cheap. Don't expect to walk into here and get a good deal. It makes sense... juice is expensive. Especially fresh fruit juice! It IS delicious. So delicious. All of the smoothies and juices I've tried have been awesome. My favorites being the ginger kale and the hawaiian one.
