I love having a piece of Malibu here in Austin. The Million Dollar Smoothie with MCT oil Is a favorite of mine, honestly it takes me about 4 sips and it's gone because I refuse to put it down once I taste it. The portions are excellent. I order this nearly every week. When I want a break from dairy I ask them to remove colostrum & swap in almond milk. My partner really likes the Eddy green juice - they're super health conscious and can consume things that don't have the sweetest taste and Fast Eddy is perfect for that. The staff is almost always super bright and cheerful and happy to help you. I like their merch too! read more

Between parking on SoCo and the higher price, it took me a while of debating to make the trek here -- but the shake collaboration with local instagrammer Olivia Adriance got me interested. We had to wait a bit to order and for our smoothie to be made. They intentionally do not offer wifi since they encourage being present in the moment. Also, you'll need a code to use the bathroom as well. My husband had to be bougie and got their most expensive smoothie - the Billionaire Dollar ($33). It's made of Young Thai coconut meat, spinach, raw cashew butter, colostrum, chlorophyll, aloe vera, collagen, green superfoods blend, silica, grass-fed whey protein isolate, spirulina, MCT oil, mushroom blend (chaga, reishi, cordyceps, shiitake, maitake, turkey tail, agaricus, meshima, tremella and lion's mane), tocos (rice bran solubles), hemp milk. The smoothie has a vibrant green color and a very thick consistency. It definitely tasted like it was packed with nutrients, but wasn't bad flavor-wise. We also got the Plant People WonderCalm Super Mushroom Gummies ($33.95) to try. They're summer peach flavored and tasted like regular gummies. They're suppose to promote calmness, relaxation, and a good mood. We only tried it once so I'm not 100% sure on the efficacy yet. read more

I am in Malibu often visiting family so I am a longtime SunLife fan. This location is gorgeous and in a prime spot on Soco- I usually try to stop by when I'm in the area! The smoothie bowls are amazing- it is pretty pricey but they come in huge portion sizes. This location can be slow (long lines, lots of foot traffic) and it's a little tough to get to the front and chat with a worker if you placed an order ahead of time. Seating is also very limited. But if you have some time to wait, I highly recommend stopping in! read more

Came in yesterday to this establishment. I have never been but I have been battling a cold for a week now, so I wanted to have something that would help me. The lady in the cashier was so nice and answered all my questions and even help me with what she thinks what would help me. We order two juices and I got a wellness shot and a smoothie. The wellness shot it's not tasteful but gosh it burned my throat I felt the pepper so you know that's good. The smoothie I'll be honest it was ok I liked the juices more. I'll definitely be back. It's incredibly overpriced, so I'm honestly glad there isn't one local to me - but I LOVE how they sell clean supplements, low-tox products, and focus on superfoods and adaptogens. On the first day of our trip, my friend and I each bought a wellness shot ($8!!!!). On our last day, we each got a Mystic smoothie and one of the Beekeepers Naturals immune sprays. The smoothie was delicious, but I'm unsure if any smoothie is worth $18. Definitely gives LA energy and fit the South Congress aesthetic - I would absolutely go back because I'm a sucker for this type of place, but once again...happy there isn't one by me to take all my money! read more

I watched a short wavy blonde haired girl juice 6 apples with the sticker still attached. I was a bit concerned seeing as I ordered a green juice and didn't want it super sweet due to health concerns. She got a bit passive aggressive with me when I was double checking my order that I only wanted it 1/2 as sweet as they usually make it (because this has happened at other juice shoppes before where they have to make it again). So the juicer got jammed, possibly from the stickers, and there was a huge hold up with the juicer. Well we're waiting forever, my spouse is 1/2 way through his smoothie, the guy behind me in line already has his dragonfruit smoothie (that they juiced apples to make) and I waited almost 30 minutes for a juice when there was no one in line before us (but everyone behind us was served before they finally made my juice). Oh, and the passive aggressive blonde walked away after my comment and didn't even finish the rest of the order. When we walked in we were like MECCA! It's totally my vibe and I was grateful for the extensive menu and the guy who took our order was super friendly and confirmed that he requested low sugar/apple but the blonde girl was definitely having a bad day and had an unprofessional attitude. If this was my shop (and I've managed plenty of boutiques before), she'd be fired or discussed if she wanted another job in the back. I'll never go back when we visit or recommend which is shocking because EVERYONE we encountered, from every uber driver to our entire hotel staff to everyone at each restaurant, museum, Paradise Theater, and store we went to was super friendly. I came in today, exhausted from a long day of travel from California and I ordered a smoothie that wasn't exactly what I had in mind. It was a little bit more juice like and watery that was just the state of the actual smoothie juice on the menu, a lighter more detoxifying juice well I wanted something a little bit thicker so the manager himself I don't know his name he had long hair that was up was super helpful and made me an amazing smoothie that I couldn't drink fast enough on my way to the hotel in marble Falls. I can't tell you how much this meant to me that he cared enough to remake this smoothie until I liked it. I have a huge dental surgery tomorrow and I'm not able to eat much for the next week so to have this delicious smoothie to look forward to in a few days when I get back into Austin before my flight while my mouth heals Something that I look forward to!
