The cafe is next to the hot yoga studio and the interior temp was really hot - I think this is because they left the hot yoga door open after the last session. Vegan and gluten free review! I was looking for an alternative to the big name in juice in town but ultimately wasn't convinced to switch over to JuicedUp. I ordered the acai bowl and my mom got the acai smoothie. My bowl was ok but I probably wouldn't get it again. The things I liked : friendly and quick customer service. The fruit tasted fresh. My mom's smoothie was ok and she'd consider getting it again. The things I didn't like : First, I was really disappointed that their granola wasn't gluten free. Granola isn't hard to make or buy gluten free and I really wanted it on my bowl. Second, my bowl was waaay too sweet. The menu board didn't mention added sweetener from what I saw, and it definitely had honey or agave in it - I don't eat either. Being vegan and not eating honey, I was annoyed that they may have slipped honey in there. Third, their containers aren't compostable, which is something I like about their competitor. read more
