Smoothies were perfect!! We got the Hawaii Five (very refreshing and smooth, not too thick but not a juice) and Honey Beary (nice peanut butter & honey flavors). We both added stuff (love how easy it was to customize our orders online) but I'm sure it would taste good normally as well. For food split the impossible burrito (yummy! But the wraps fall apart, good sauce) and the queso roller (already spicy and the side sauce puts it over the edge of my spice tolerance ). I ordered the Wednesday special - The Originator without peanut butter. I am allergic. I shared my order with the cashier and the why? She acknowledged and said no problem. When the order was received, I smelled and tasted peanut butter. I brought it back and the cashier stated not sure. However, the person making the drink confirmed. They offered to make another drink. However, no protocol was following with allergy guidelines on the first or second drink along with not notifying the manager. The cashier only said sorry while I have to deal with a health related issue that could have been avoided if the cashier listened to me. I checked my receipt after leaving and noticed that the cashier not only did not remove the peanut butter, but charged me extra for peanut butter that came with the smoothie. This led me to call the store and speak with Larry the store manager. During the first conversation, the phone call was disconnected. I promptly called back and shared my story with Larry. Larry proceeded as any manager should and refunded my purchase. His words and actions really did nothing for me, but it was more than I received from the cashier and the person who made the drinks. If you have allergies be careful using this place. I told Larry that I would never patronize this location again. The cashier has now made me if I choose to patronize another JuiceLand to micromanage my order. I am ticked on so many levels, but I never lost my cool. This is where I go to right the wrongs in my diet. I personally think a person can never get too many veggies and fresh fruit in their diet. This location is similar to the other locations; I find it eclectic, clean with a friendly staff. They always are willing to explain and recommend items. Which is helpful since the menu its large and diverse. I normally get excited and order a few things at a time. My fave is vegetable kingdom and the Tikal. The best part of this place is they will customize your drink any way you wish. Here you WILL get it your way. They now have shots and hot drinks and I find these items tend to have the most robust flavors. This is always my go to place when I am feeling under weather as well. The added bonus is that Sweet Rutual is located inside so you have the option to have ice cream as well. I don't always handle milk very well and they seem to have many non milk ice cream selections. Where do I begin with this wonderful juice bar. My wife and I were staying in Austin for the weekend and being that we are juicing and green smoothie enthusiast we knew that Austin would have no shortage of available just bars. We randomly chose this particular place because it was the closest to our hotel for the weekend in this place did not disappoint. I was fairly traumatized by the last juice bar we went to because for some reason my personal juices tastes better than the juices we order at most juice bars but my wife was insistent on having a juice. I went with a green smoothie called the "Bambattaa"Being that that name derives from Jamaica I had a strong feeling that this smoothie would have an island feel to it and it was delicious it had a nutty flavor because of the almonds that were blended in but it also contained coconut and a few other delightful fruits and vegetables it was delicious. My wife created her own juice consisting of various fruits and vegetables that she loves when we just at home. This place is so good that it will now be go to Spot whenever we come back to Austin. My wife and I had a premature baby girl a few years ago. She was 4 months premature. We would drive in from San Marcos every day to visit her at the hospital. It was a very stressful 5 months. Every once in a while we would get out to catch our breath and grab some juice at Juiceland. It was just what we needed! Fast forward 2 years and we're back at the hospital with another preemie baby girl. I drop mama off to feed baby at the hospital every morning then make a B- line to Juiceland with our first daughter.  I usually get something with fruit and veggies and something else sweet and creamy. I try and play off of the daily special for that day. The soul boulder special has a great milk shake like taste and consistency and puts the fire out of the habanero sauce on my seven later burrito. We also get the Beverley clearly which has a nice punch to it and is the very definition of juice in my dictionary.  I also love the acai bowls especially with peanut butter and the chocolate chips pair very well. My daughter likes picking them out too :) The staff is very cheerful which again helped me through another very stressful time.  One of the managers even cried with me as we were finally ready to head home from the hospital.  Now we just need one in San Marcos. I very much enjoy the land of juice. My favorite drink I've tried is the Originator. It might not look as pretty as most of the other drinks, but the peanut butter helps balance out the fruit. I find that most of their other smoothies can be quite sweet or tart because of the fruit - that's not necessarily a bad thing, but they don't stand out as much from other smoothie places. It is a little pricey, as quality juice & smoothies tend to be, but they have daily specials and a rewards system. They also now have small discounts if you bring in a cup/use their reusable ones/don't get a straw. There's also healthy food and snacks available for purchase, and usually there will be something available to sample. This location has a little record store inside, which is nice to look through while you're waiting for your order. There is a modest amount of seating inside (especially since Sweet Ritual moved out a while ago). The parking lot is rather small, but it exists and street parking is a possibility. Overall, Juiceland is clutch on hot days, great when you need something that feels like a healthy choice, and has a solid dose of local (& perhaps a little hippie) quirk & charm. read more

Spoke with a lovely lady who was quick to answer questions, and make suggestions, as I had no clue exactly what I was looking for...lol However, I went with the suggestions that she made and I was very happy! I'm a first time juicer. My friends I were doing a cleanse. I had questions and was willing to pay a premium to do it right. This dude was not about helping me. At all. All I needed was so guidance and answering questions. I ended up rushing the order, not knowing anything about what I ordered. I've never seen an employee treat a customer as if he was way better than the other person and didn't want to help a customer out. Now the juice cleanse taste/quality doesn't matter. What a beautiful little spot. It looks like this was once a gas station that since has been converted into a record store, juice shop, and vegan ice cream parlor. Outside the building is colorfully creatively decorated, and there is a beautiful gardenesque outdoor terrace. I had originally come to try Sweet Ritual, the vegan ice cream that shares this space, but was then distracted by the yummy looking local premade salads, sandwiches, and snacks (many gluten and vegan friendly) sold by Juiceland. So the name is very deceiving, they do so much more than just juice. I chose a premade Kale salad, which was one of the best Kale salads I have had, and the Juiceland staff were extremely friendly and had a fantastic discussion regarding our love for the very hard to find Kale. I will definitely be back to try their juice, it looked amazing. That's the only thing holding me back from the fifth star. Just need a more well rounded experience. read more

There are two reasons you should go to this place. First: The Vegetable Kingdom will clean you out faster than MiraLax. I feel like I'm 20 years old again, man those were days.
