I was looking to try a jambalaya or something similar, but they didn't have it. Instead they have jambalaya pasta! That's new to me. So I ordered it. It was great. It had a lot of sausage, small shrimp and fish. Generous amount of cheese. Creamy and savory. I also thought the decor was so much fun here and beautiful. I always used to see this place when I went to Atami or Blue Baker. One day I figured I'd try it with some friends. Overall, my time at Razzoo's was decent - not spectacular but not terrible. The food quality was good but not best-in-the-world in my opinion (although I've only been there one time, so take that into consideration). I do wish the portion sizes were a little bigger for the price but I didn't leave still feeling hungry. My server was very friendly so that was a positive, and it seemed like there was plenty of booths and a bar. Razzoo's would likely fit your needs if you were coming with a large party or just wanted to watch the game. Overall, I think my experience at Razzoo's was a solid 3 - not because it was bad, but because nothing really stood out to me. My problem with their menu is that I want to order everything! Cajun is one of my favorite cuisines, and Razzoo's is right over the target. The Cajun Fondue appetizer was delicious and then some, but we ran out of bread with most of the fondue left. C'mon - bread is cheap! My Seafood Combo Platter was excellent, but I ran out of shrimp cocktail sauce early, and it was a long time before our server came by to check on us. I never did manage to get any ketchup for my fries. And so it went. Nothing major, and the food was super tasty, but enough little issues to knock the rating down a star. read more

We have been here twice and have had a great experience both times and funny enough, both times the same waiter, Norman, helped us. He is friendly, helpful and very prompt with taking our order and bringing drinks. Some of the food can be very spicy but overall, the food is good. Went here today for lunch, the hostess was very vibrant which helped me stay in a good mood. It was very cold inside so I asked to be moved outside and that was quickly accommodated. I ordered from the $9.99 lunch menu and had the shrimp etoufee and a wild berry lemonade. It did not take long for my order to arrive and it tastes good. Nothing special just good. It did have a good amount of shrimp in it. I didn't eat the rice that came in it because it looked like it had some kind of meat or beef in it but I could be wrong. The menu didn't mention that. In College Station a couple days for business purposes. I like Cajun cuisone and noticed Razzos Cajun Cafe nearby my hotel. Never heard of the restaurant but stopped in. Great choice as it turns out. Some of the best Cajun I've had. And, I used to travel Louisiana a lot. The unique frozen drink was awesome (Hurrycane Hell). I had a second, probably more if I weren't driving! Lastly and very importantly my Server/Bartender Halley did an excellent job. Nice, professional and a bunch of other adjectives to describe her. First time going to this restaurant. We were greeted at the door & seated right away. The decor cracked me up with possums & raccoons hanging from the ceiling. Glad I played it safe and got the cajun fried chicken. Tender and delicious. Son in law had grilled oysters. The flavor was off, they were gritty, and extremely small. His redfish was small and dry. Came here for the first time with my wife. We were staying in the Hilton College Station Conference Center across the street from this restaurant that had colorful lights that shined like a diners restaurant so I YELPed it only to find out it was a Cajun/Creole type of restaurant. We ordered the Stuffed Shrimp (recommended by our waitress Genny and it was flavorful and delicious), the Rat Toes (stuffing looked a bit strange, but it was delicious and stuffed inside these huge jalapeños), and the Jambalaya Pasta (I'm normally used to eating this dish with rice, but it was still delicious). We also ordered the Strawberry Coconut Sunrise drink which was kinda sweet, but delicious especially when everything's mixed. The food prices are pretty decent and the portions are huge. Definitely cheaper than Hawaii. Our waitress, Genny was friendly and fast. We met the General Manager, Eddie who is super friendly and informational. He too is from Hawaii so we had a lot to talk about lol, so much that our food got kinda cold, but we didn't mind, it was just nice hearing all the good things about Texas from a fellow local boy from Hawaii. Ever since I tried out Razzoo's, this has become my regular go-to. The crawfish étouffée is by far my favorite dish. The quality is consistent each time I had it, and the crawfishes are always fresh. Generous portion size, and I highly recommend to anyone who likes étouffée and crawfish. The firemouth wings is another new favorite. There're 8 pieces, so a good size to share for the table. It's actually not that spicy as the name suggests. The wings are crispy outside and juicy inside. You will get 8 decent-sized wings, so another appetizer to try. The last time i came here we ordered the hot crawfish. I loved the amount of spice on them! My husband however couldn't handle it lol. Everything was great, staff, service, beer on tap, but... i did find a grasshopper buried under my crawfish which completely grossed me out. I didnt bring it up to the wait staff bc i had already ate most anyway. I was definitely not able to finish after that. They were small bc its bc its been so hot here lately. They were pricey too. This place is a solid 4 overall, especially for "what you get for your money" aspect. If you're not looking to maximize your dollar, then this place would be more on the level of 3 stars. The atmosphere: place is fun, clean, family & kid-friendly. 3.5 stars The service: Thanks Olivia for being so kind and helpful! (Please tip your wait staff well.) 5 star The food: typical bar/American food, nothing really special. 2.5 stars I came here with my acquaintance and were seated at around 2:30 for a late lunch. Their lunch specials are M-F 11-3 PM and Happy Hour 3-6 PM. To maximize your dollar, I recommend visiting at this time. We ordered the lunch specials which were $10 each. Mind you, this is a lunch portion so it is smaller than a dinner portion, but if you're a person that doesn't eat much, or doesn't like to take stuff to-go or eat leftovers, this is an option to save money. We ordered at around 2:30 and then waited for 30 minutes to order the fire wings for Happy Hour. I recommend doing this. Their wings were $5 for about 10 wings I believe. This would be cheaper than ordering the wings off the appetizer menu during regular hours. My only thing is that the wings are a dry rub, and they were not very spicy at all. Siracha is spicier than these wings, but they were still ok. Razzoo also has some of their cocktails as all day specials for $5. These were a bit on the sweet side, but not offensive. Final verdict: I would definitely go here again, but as a late lunch/happy hour and not for dinner. I don't think the food or drink is all that outstanding to spend the extra money on. I didn't have a reservation so I was informed it would be a 30-40 min wait, but it actually a 10-15 min wait which i enjoyed. Our server greeted us and was a total sweetheart. I ordered the bayou breeze and it was delicious. It tastes just like guava juice. My table ordered the boudin balls to start and we were disappointed by how small they were. However, those balls were delicious and the sauce that came with it was tasty as well. I ordered the fried seafood platter that came with catfish, crawfish, shrimp, fries, hush puppies and corn. my food was a 4/5.
