Hubs and I are giving the drinks a four star but I have to say that the food was really just a three star. The frozen Coke with whiskey and the strawberry margarita were wonderful. The grilled fish tacos for $15 were good but there wasn't enough fish inside. The street corn was just hot corn. Even a little butter would've helped. Hubs had the chicken fried steak which he said was pretty good. He did not care for the seasoning. The portions were good sized. He thinks the mashed potatoes might've been from a package. Our visit to Willie's was for lunch on a Wednesday. The restaurant was busy, but we had no wait in the line to order. The order staff were friendly and helpful in taking our selections. We found a table right away, but had to wait a while for our server to retrieve our order slip and confirm our selections. The rest was set up a many other in this chain. However, their air conditioning was not working well and it was very hot in the restaurant. Our food selections came out just ad we had ordered, including an assortment of burgers, fries, and fried catfish. The food was consistently hot and tasted great! read more

Pros: close to hotels, friendly staff, nice atmosphere Cons: food lacked flavor. The apple pie crust was plain and apples lacked pie spice flavoring. Chips for salsa could use a bit more salt and the salsa tasted not quite right, maybe cross contamination of meat juices or an unusual ingredient. I really wanted to like this place. The server Cass was always checking in never had to ask for a refill not once.The fried pickles are by far the best in town as they do not over bread them like other places! It's set up weird with the seating mostly booths, the awkward thing is, in order to see the tv, you have to look to the left or the right, no facing head on unless you sit at the bar. Willies is the perfect place to go for some catfish or burgers in a laid back atmosphere. I love when they have the sliding doors up during the summer! They are dog friendly (if you sit outside) and kid friendly. Tonight, Taylor was a phenomenal server / waitress! She had the sweetest pleasant demeanor with us and definitely deserves a raise for her beyond exceptional customer service! Stopped by Willie's to try out the food and drinks with a friend after work and it was a very chill atmosphere. They had the March Madness W bball game on which was nice. Really attentive staff and polite staff, however the food was okay. My friend had several things missing from the Hickory Cheddar burger she ordered (like onions and BBQ sauce) and while the drinks were good, they were incredibly watered down. I had the Bacon Willie which I liked but the bun fell apart. We also ordered the brisket mac n cheese balls and they were delicious!! Service was great but highly don't recommend their crawfish, went there on 3/20/2025 and ate their crawfish then less than 5 hours later was throwing up profusely and had to spend 13 hours in the ER. The crab legs were delicious and by far our favorite thing! The potatoes and corn were good but look out for the corn! That spice will get you! The only negative thing was the shrimp.
