The service was not the same, but the food was on point. I have had ribs, rib-tips and catfish. When Hillary's opened in Kenosha, I was really glad because I wouldn't have to go to Illinois. The food now was just "okay", nothing to brag about, so I would occasionally go back to Waukegan and Zion. For the past few 5 years or more, I eat sporadically from Hillary's, but am always on the lookout for some "delicious" ribs. The quality of the ribs has sunk so low, that the only good part is the sauce. Ever so often I would get a decent meal, but it so seldom, that I have chosen not to go, if there is anywhere else I can go to. Finally, my husband and I ordered a small rib tips order; one with hot sauce and the other, with mild sauce. We didn't expect much, and we were not dissapointed. The very first piece was amazingly chewy. And each piece afterwards was worse. I thought if I let it sit in the sauce for awhile, the pieces would soften up. That did not happen. My husband eventually tossed his order. I tried to eat mine, but it was like chewing on leather, merely an exercise for your jaws. I am done!
