Bbq was fantastic! However the sides lacked flavor. The greens didn't taste like anything and the coleslaw taste like straight mayo and celery. Very friendly staff but i'm not a fan of the food at all. Only thing worth mentioning is the meat, id avoid everything else. read more

I enjoyed my food here. The food was great and authentic, not canned. My daughter and I ordered the sausage plate-my plate had collard greens and potato salad and sweet potato pie..my daughter sides was green beans and Mac and cheese. The food tastes like some home cooking. The veggies are cooked with meat and the bbq sauce was delicious. I can't say enough how good the food is here at Juicy's. It's located in a gas station parking lot. It seems to be family owned. Please give this place a chance. You will not be disappointed. read more

This is a little takeout restaurant connected to a gas station. The ribs were so good, I visited this place 3 times in one week . The ribs are AMAZING, fall off the bone good! No need for sauce. I always get the green beans or corn on the cob if they have it. They change their hours frequently so sometimes I would arrive and they would be closed. The baked beans are slightly sweet and are NOT traditional style. They are a mix of red beans, kidney, black, white and tomatos-fantastic. Juicy's BBQ is sooooo good! We went yesterday and bought a slab, potato salad, greens, cornbread, and pound cake. We are eating leftovers today and everything is finger licking good! The smell in the air when you arrive will make you want to run not walk inside to place your order. Repeat customers inside were black, white, young, and old. This is a very "real" place...meaning the staff are just the most friendly people you could meet...and their ribs are the "real deal" meaning they are smoked in the smoker out in front of the store and the sauce is their own special sauce. I haven't seen the mention of the bbq chicken in these reviews, but they are well worth trying!! I think the prices could be a little better, but I feed a family of 6 so it's rarely cheap no matter where we go!! I would have given them a 5 star rating, however, I think the menu is too limited as far as having choices, and I would love to see them expand or move somewhere that they could (1) have option of dining in. And (2) have a option of a drive thru and (3) expand their hours to include breakfast, lunch and dinner at least 6 days per week. The sausage and ribs here are AMAZING!!! But I'm not a fan of their sides. I wish they had a better variety and would possibly think of revamping their options. I wish that they would also keep the white bread warm so that eating a rib sandwich would be a little more pleasant.
