I love diner food! I have been looking forward to this diner opening all summer long!! We made our first trip in today and loved it!! It was classically decorated in 50s Diner decor with the 50s oldies but goodies playing from the juke box! We got an order of Onion Rings because we love onion rings...they were steak sliced, well breaded and really crunchy! They were served with ranch dressing. My daughter got a chocolate milkshake. I don't usually like chocolate milkshakes because of the chocolate syrup they put in but this one was so good!!! It tasted like it was made with Chcolate Ice Cream. I look forward to trying the strawberry shakes!! The coffee was fresh and really good...not too strong and definitely didn't tasted like it had been sitting around all day...we visited at 2 in the afternoon. I got the BLT with burnt bacon. It was fabulous and I look forward to going back for another!! The lettuce was crisp and fresh, the tomato was fresh and the bacon was burnt (at my request) to perfection! My daughter got the Nathan Dog...2 footlong nathan hotdogs covered with Kraft Mac and Cheese. The hot dogs were good, though just warmed, not very hot. She liked it but loved the Fries!! They were really good as was the cole slaw. My only suggestion at this point would be to request egg salad sandwiches. Oh, and I wish there were no Tvs...kinda loses the 50s Diner feel with them. Went back to give them another chance. Still a little iffy on the service, but I'm willing to cut them a break on that since they are new and it does take time for staff to get in a groove - I get it. This time ordered breakfast - the pancake combo with eggs and bacon. They eggs and bacon were perfect - the bacon was good and thick and perfectly crispy. The pancakes, however, were another story. There were three, and they were really large - but they were really dense and fairly flavorless. I was really disappointed since it looked really good when first delivered to the table. I did like the squeeze bottle for the syrup, but it was the bargain basement artificial maple which didn't help either. A fellow diner had the ravioli pasta dish and she too complained that it was overly bland. And a dinner roll instead of garlic bread (or a dinner roll cut in half with garlic butter at least). Then again I suppose they may be sticking close to the "diner" credo but it was a bit of a turn off. I'll be back to try some other dishes - mainly because there is a real lack of non-chain restaurants in the Manassas area, but so far I'm loosing hope... read more

Honestly, I see 2.5/5, and I get nervous. But I gave this place a try with a friend for breakfast yesterday and have to say it was really good! Here's the thing with diner food. You don't get anything fancy. No seafood (unless its a fish sandwich), no pasta, nothing that requires more than putting it onto a fryer and or grill. Same goes for breakfast. When in doubt, go with breakfast, which is precisely what we did. I got the French Toast breakfast, which came with 2 eggs done the way you want them, and 2 meats, which I got two sausages. Also got myself an apple juice. My friend got the chipped beef. The server we had was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. The food arrived quickly and was reasonably priced as well, not to mention to portion sizes were very nice. However, the French Toast looked pretty small. But the setting is cute and overall we enjoyed the experience. I would return here, and remember, know your unofficial diner rules! 1.) When in doubt, stick to breakfast food. 2.) Don't order anything that requires more than ordinary effort to make 3.) Don't order seafood unless its fried fish. 4.) Avoid the pasta dishes. 5.) Burgers, and chicken sandwiches are also a safe guarantee. Follow these rules each time at each diner, and you will be just fine! read more

I got this really large straw so drinking my chocolate shake was a breeze and the flavor is amazing I love the music and the atmosphere the food is definitely better during normal hours so if you haven't check this place out and get desert for breakfast, hey you're an adult you can do that ;) read more

Absolutely awful experience!!!! Ordered my sausage egg and cheese with the waitress 2x, even specifically stating no bacon about 5x, then another waitress had to come to verify the order. For a sausage egg and cheese (not some gourmet order here) they then brought it with the bacon!!!!!!! Not remaking it, just took bacon off and providing it with 2 baby sausage links. My boyfriends egg Benedict was a hard boiled egg on a muffin with no egg yolk AT ALL. We asked for waters about 4x. Then the credit card machine was down and they took our credit card number to hold, charging the whole amount for such an awful experience. after we explained the issues. Obviously I ripped it up and We had to pay cash just to get out of this place, would highly recommend you to go to one of the much better diners in the area. This place sucked. read more

What an astonishingly good decision to stop here on Christmas Day! One of the first things out of my husband's mouth was that there's a Cobra hanging from the ceiling! I hate snakes so I was momentarily petrified but I love cars so I settled down upon realizing that it was the kind of Cobra with wheels. Our waitress was really nice. I found a delicious plant-friendly option: the falafel sandwich and homefries. Mmm. That falafel was way better than you'd expect in a Northern Virginia diner! As it turns out, the chefs are Greek and Lebanese so their Mediterranean options are delicious. As we were wrapping up our meal, a gentleman came and talked with us for 10 minutes. Made us feel right at home. The decor was truly awesome. The staff was prompt and respectful. The bathroom was clean. The meal was reasonably priced. been there a few times and had their chicken sandwich and ff which were very good. went on sunday and experience was not good. took a very long time to get good. waiter did not come back and ask if we wanted refills. asked for bills an a box and waiter just disappeared and never came back. went to counter and manager could not find him. finally came in from patio. maybe he was on a break. would never go back on a Sunday nor maybe any other day. when I was by myself service was good and my sandwich was great. they just do not do great with a table of more than 5 people. read more

Great service - classic giant diner menu. Something for everyone - but a few twists and a bit more robust on its huge menu. I had the chicken kabob pita. Freaking fantastic. Friend had a chicken parm sandwich. No complaints from him. We were able To substitute side salads for fries which was nice. I was tempted to order a milkshake - companion did. One shot at making a first impression. And I was pleasantly impressed for sure on our very first visit today. Nothing I love more than coming into an establishment and see the manager on duty help out on the floor as well. He genuinely cared and it spoke volume. Helping out with the seating and walking around to make sure that each table/customer is taken care of and if not, he whipped out his notepad and start taking orders. The diner is very clean and the oldies but goodies tunes that was playing, totally sets the mood. Service here was top notch for us, family of four for dinner on a mildly busy Monday evening. Ordered 4 different meals and the mild chicken wings for appetizer. The wings sauce was perfect! Chicken and waffles was great and the fettuccini alfredo sauce was spectacular! Breakfast served all day as well :) Compliments to the chef as well. Truly the other back bone of the diner. The place can be great but if the chef didn't deliver believe you me, we wouldn't plan on going back because eating out is not cheap nowadays. Love this place! The food is great and the servers are so friendly and hard workers. The size of this restaurant is huge. The servers follow the CDC regulations EXCEPT the hostess. Avoid! Ordered the Chicken Shawarma platter, and THIS is how it's described on the Doordash menu; "Grilled chicken; gyro meat served over rice, with sm Greek salad, pita and tzatziki." Before I stated my issue, I asked, "What does your Chicken Shawarma platter come with?" Immediately, she said, "It comes with rice, and...." I cut her off by saying, "Ok, stop right there. I just ordered this platter, and there is no rice." Realizing that she may have said too much, she puts me on hold to get the manager. I waited for about 5 minutes (they were probably getting their story/lies straight) for him to come to the phone, and he pretty much LIES and says that the Chicken Shawarma platter doesn't come with rice or gyro meat, and that the Doordash menu is wrong. Seriously? Well who's fault is that? People are ordering what they see on YOUR menu. If your menu is not updated, then you can't penalize the customers. Not to mention, that the woman who answered the phone obviously hadn't been briefed on the "updated menu" either, because she clearly said, RICE is supposed to come with the platter! The so called manager then says, "Well, next time you order, just come to restaurant and see what we have." Gee, that certainly defeats the purpose of Doordash, along with the free delivery they offer if you order from this restaurant. Liars and fraud artists. Avoid this place. I sure will. We came on a Saturday evening and ordered to-go. I ordered the chopped salad and was pleasantly surprised by the presentation and the freshness considering this is a diner. Shawn and Bonnie are awesome! Thanksgiving lunch was fantastic! Everything else in the area was packed so we drove by the diner and to our surprise it was open. Man we are glad we stopped in! I hope they do this next year. The salad, turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing and gravy was hot and like homemade. We were excited to order Juke Box Diner tonight for dinner but were greatly disappointed in the quality of food we received. I ordered old fashioned pot roast, thinking I would be getting tender roast that fell apart on my fork with each new bite. What I got were some 2 inch think overcooked pork chop looking medallions in crappy gravy, no onions or carrots. My daughter got the open faced roast beef plate and there was very little gravy. She ate her garden salad and excused herself without touching her meal. We will definitely choose differently next time. This was the Manassas, VA location. read more

It wasn't terrible. It wasn't too crowded when we went, but they were short staffed, so it still took some time for everything (drink orders, food orders, refills, check etc.). There was a couple that left because it was taking so long. My daughter wanted a waffle and sausage. On the kid's menu they only have chicken and waffles. The waitress told me that she had to order off the adult menu, if that's the case, which was several dollars more. Ummm, no. Why not swap the chicken for the meat she wants. I swear a lightbulb went off in the waitress head. "Oh, yeah. We can do that." My son had a burger; not too hard to mess that up. I had a waffle, as well, and it was overcooked.
