Great little rocker dive bar

I never have been here on a PACKED night but I am sure it does as I have heard great things. Really nice bar with cool bartenders. Tap selection might be shitty..but hey.. they've got that covered with their selection of bottled beers!! Dude, they've got ROLLING ROCK!!!! read more

The Bar: We arrived at 8pm and there was already a line to get in for the Hootenanny After Party. Large open area with more than enough seating for an army. Upon entering the front door, on the right ahead is the bar with plenty of seating most nights. This night it appeared they may have moved the tables for the concert that was about to take place. To the left was the stage, small stage, but big sound. The Crowd: The bar was very receptive to us. Friendly patrons. Punk and Rockabilly type. Service: Awesome bartenders. We were immediately greeted out front by a guy named Ken. Not sure what his role was. He was bartender while we were there, but he was also able to get us on the list to get in. Prices: $7 per pitcher, but no pitchers during shows. Excellent drink selection, however, bring extra money during shows, they hike up the prices quite a bit. A special thank you to those of you who bought us round after round of drinks! No shortage of PBR in this joint, cans, bottles and draft! 9/8 some friends and I went here to celebrate a birthday . Everything started off amazing and fun an employee named Arie and his dope mustache helped us and even suggested a drink that was bomb . Long story short my friends got drunk and started buying other people shots on my open tab .. so I closed it so they could spend some of their own money . One of the bartenders that night a younger dark skinned guy approached me asking why I didn't include a tip when I closed out . I explained my friends would be taking care of the tip since my bill went over $250 . We were heading to the back area to smoke a cig and he became upset yelled at us . Saying " so your just not going to tip ! Glaring at us angrily " everyone in the room stopped to look even the other 1 female bartender looking confused ...As a business owner myself I would hate to have an employee who acted like that with such aggression. he was very unprofessional and should learn how to control himself instead of acting like an adolescent . I understand feeling some type of way about not receiving a tip yet but embarrassing a customer yelling at them just goes uncalled for . By the way I still gave a $40 tip to Arie and if he chose to share with that child of an employee then that's on him . read more

Drove all the way from la Verne to check out this place I've heard so many great things about and was completely disappointed. The new bartender Katie didn't know how to make shots. It looked like it was her first night bartending. It's a good thing she had a helper behind the bar to help her or it would have been a complete disaster. If it weren't for the bartender this would be a chill place to frequent. But it gets a thumbs down from me. read more

I love the juke joint! They are constantly have shows even during the boring work week which is nice! The juke box is amazing! The drinks are cheap and stiff. The crowd is mellow and not stuffy like the bars on main st. It definitely is geared more to the rockabilly scene but you see ALL types there. read more

First of all I hope everyone who got fraudulent charges on their credit cards made a police report!!!! My family visited this place to meet a friend. We were there for a very short time cause it was dead. When I went to close my tab the female bartender whom I gave my card to says she doesn't have my card. I knew she did, but hey I could of been wrong. Went back to my table checked my purse wasn't in there. I go back to the bar and there's my card sitting in plane view. It wasn't there a minute ago. I have a card bright yellow with a school Bus on it so I right away recognized it. I told her my card is right there. I closed my tab and left. A few days later my card wouldn't work at atms. I went to my bank they froze it. Suspicion of fraudulent use. Sure enough charges that I didn't authorize were on my card. So I told my sister what happened. When she checked her recent transactions, the bartender helped herself to a hefty 40.00 tip on like a 13.00 tab!! I am totally following through with a police report. And I'm really hoping something will be done to this place. How low can a person go. Note to the female bartender. I have your name and I'm including it in the report. Y'know, I like this place... and yet I have so many memories here that are fuzzy and more than likely quite embarrassing. None the less, I like it. As previously stated, tall boys of PBR is the drink of choice. Only $5 or something. Slam a few of those back, watch bands, avoid the cops on the way home. Good times!!! They've always got great bands playing, and I've never been bored. There's a small parking lot, but plenty of street parking. It's *relatively* safe to walk down the block. They take credit cards, which is ALWAYS a welcome sign at a bar. There's lots of seating, and lots of places to lean. Give Hank a big smile. He's a big teddy bear.... but trust me you REALLY don't wanna get on this bouncer's bad side. They don't have food but there's lots of good places in the area to eat at. And they carry Jameson.... which always warrants kudos from me. read more

Juke joint is a relaxed bar I came across now living in Anaheim. Very relaxed chill bar to come with friends.

I have visited the juke joint a handful of times within the last 10 years but I have never had such a memorable visit as today. I stopped by for a quick beer after a long day of work before making the trek back home. It was such a pleasant surprise to be greeted by a warm smile and hello by the bartender Precious. Great dive bar in Anaheim. Went on a thursday night, very chill. Tracy the bartender was amazing! Made us mexican candy shots and breakfast of champion shot! There wasnt a show on this night, but still pretty busy. 3 pool tables and juke box. They also have Free Pool on Sunday nights and the NFL ticket for Sunday and thursdays football games! we definitly will be back! read more

I had a good time at this spot the only thing that got me upset was me putting 5bucks into the juke box, and the bouncer watching me do so and when i was finished they called last call and asked me to leave. I came here with a few friends for my friends birthday last night and we had a great time. I don't remember the bartenders name but she was awesome!! She played a game called the birthday shot game, and had the whole bar sing happy birthday for my friend and her overall service and hospitality was great! I don't know her name but I hope the boss or whoever reads this gives her praise!! She was a blonde lady that worked last night between 9pm-12am while we were there. The drinks were good too, the beers we got were between $5-6 bucks and the mixed drinks we got were fairly priced and tasty. Overall I would definitely come here again! read more

Great environment, fun, and bartenders are always welcoming! Don't understand why the video arcade was taken out? It always was a good time drinking and challenging others to some fun free game play! Kinda an ice breaker in meeting others! Bring back the entertainment or add something else like skeet ball. read more

Great environment.. Very mellow and chill. Loved the pool tables, even though I don't known how to play. Lol the bartenders were very generous with the liquor and the best part for me was their juke box/ music player. You can connect your phone through an app and select the music you want to hear. I have to say, every time I come here...excellent time!! I have been to a lot of dive bars in OC but the JukeJoint is the best. 20 drafts ( some kick ass IPA'S) The night my friends and I went it was ladies night! nothing exciting here. walked in, stood at the bar a good two minutes before i was acknowledged contemplating leaving, although i was craving a beer. the bartender was checking her phone, which caused the delay. thankfully the beer was nicely chilled, otherwise i wouldnt have chugged it and/or ordered a second. seems as if they are more attentive to the regulars, which is ok, i suppose. i was looking for a beer after a couple hours at Disneyland, and Juke Joint was the result. would select another place next time 8/25/16: rcvd a message from Business Manager today saying she was going to address the issue with her staff. Reviews this morning were still about 3 stars, and if you notice many of the positive recent reviews are from today, so im inclined to think Business Manager asked friends and fam to write positive reviews for a better rating. read more

Juke Joint. I have read great reviews about this establishment on Yelp and decided to finally give it a try. I came here on a Saturday evening looking for a place to hang out at and have a beer. Wow, what a kind of environment I can say that is "my kind!" It is a little divey joint with cool bartenders and cheap priced beers. They do have 3 pool tables and tables with bar stools all around. I was informed that they do have shows here every now and then. Local bands play here, as well as famous punk and ska bands such as Agent Orange, TSOL have played here! TSOL rocks! The crowd here is a mixture of all. Their jukebox plays a wide variety of tunes...please do not ever play any Drake or Beyoncé for that is not bar and drinking music. I like hearing Judas Priest, Tiger Army, Pantera, Metallica, etc! They do hve quite a variety of beers on tap, myself having ordered their red eye IPA, which was amazing. If you are looking to wind down and enjoy a great night out on the town and have yourself a cheap priced beer while enjoying a kick ass vibe, Juke Joint is your place to hit up. Bands beware. This place does not care a bit about you . They will not hesitate to throw you out without honoring their commitment to you. Their bouncers will treat you like complete animals if they so choose & no one will answer for their behavior. BOYCOTT, BOYCOTT, BOYCOTT! $2 mexican beer on tuesdays!!! it's a pretty chill bar. people here ARE friendly. i'm always going to juke during the week for decent priced pitchers, and shows on the weekend. i've seen guana batz, luis and the wildfires, sick sick sinners and many more bands at this bar. i wouldn't really compare this bar to johnny's, just depending on the nights you go, but definitely check it out and don't be a stranger to say hi. read more

Have never had such an experience like this one. I am a manager of a bar and I have NEVER kicked people out, no matter how long they stay. I went in on Saturday night to celebrate a special night with a couple of close co-workers who are also bartenders. Their defense, we got there late due to closing our own restaurant early to enjoy a drink together. We got there around 1:30 am got our first round, right after our drinks were served we they called last call-understandable. We ordered a second round just to have drinks since they were closing. Before we had even got the chance to start our second round, the bartenders and security started yelling "finish your drinks!" By the time I had got to the the second drink, I took one sip and the security guard had grabbed it out of my hand AS I WAS DRINKING!!!!!. I have never had such rude service. It was only 2:04am by the time we had been kicked out. read more

Its a good spot. drinks are cheap and they got good live music. Sometimes they charge $10.00 bucks to get in which isn't too cool if the live band isn't too good. All in all I like the crowd and the drinks. read more
