I have never been to a bar this bad. 1st, they were not set up when they were open and so I walked in and it was empty, no one at the bar, eventually we sat down and I was dancing having a good time, then I got a margarita, I am 99% sure they put yellow Gatorade in their margs, it was not good. Then I got a white claw, this part is my mistake I guess but I didn't know , but I went to step outside for a moment to get some fresh air and security came outside and aggressively SNATCHED my white claw and threw it away, I was stunned. He ended up feeling bad because I cried because I'm sensitive lol and gave me a new white claw but that whole thing was just uncalled for and crazy - a simple "hey you can't have that outside either throw it away or come back in" would have done fine. THEN, and yall; I was a little lit but not drunk drunk, I was talking to the bar tender we were chopping it up and having a good talk then this girl who I said I hi to thought I was hitting on her and I told her I was married to a man and then I asked her "did you think I was hitting on you" she dismissed me but then apparently she told the bar tender that I did something because I was ASKED TO LEAVE - I have never in my life written a review for anywhere and I also have never EVER been escorted out of a bar at all let alone for no valid reason. I wish it went better because love dancing and it's a place to dance near my house but i definitely will never be back and would NOT reccomend this bar to anyone ever. read more

OMG my sister and I had the BEST time at The Continental Room for Emo Prom!!! They have fun themed nights going on all the time with live music, djs, all the things - def check out their calendar. There are multiple rooms, for this event there was different music in each and a photo booth. It was around Halloween and the crowd totally got in the spirit. Spooky Emo is a vibe. The bartender was cool and beers were reasonably priced. Everything felt clean, even the bathroom ;) Really fun venue, crowd, everything - can't wait to go back! read more

NYE review...decided to check this place out...security was fine. However there's a back dance floor section, I sat down for not even 5 seconds when the DJ yelled at me that if I wasn't paying/reserved that spot I couldn't sit down. Mind you the whole entire room was EMPTY I was literally the only one in there so I was confused with his rudeness towards me. So I got up and left then had come back to request a song from him. He shook his head no at me while I was approaching (mind you the room is still empty) and when I tried to clear the confusion he immediately stopped the entire music and snapped at me "I already said no , respect my wishes" like I was so confused and over it considering the bar was empty at this point and the music he was playing sucked. Beware going here! They have a homophobic security guard. We got kicked out by him last Friday for my transgender friend using the female restroom. He was very unnecessarily angry and aggressive. He could have simply apologized or clarified that it was not allowed and we would have left with no problem. However he decided to turn it into a big scene which made our group upset. Upon entrance not a lot of people were there assuming i would get the best service, right? No. I go to order drinks (3 mexican candy shots) i get serviced right away after some time the bartender is taking a while since he's talking to other customers, finally he gives me the drinks and tells me the total, with music and talking i couldn't really hear. The manager of the place put hands on us and kicked us out waaay before 2am in the bathroom, we were in the bathroom and he sent people to kick us out with out warning and all the Staff was rude and aggressive kicking us out. Came here after a wedding and it was fun! The music was great, especially for DTF, there was a lot of hip hop and that's hard to find around here, so thank you for that! I was a little apprehensive coming going out because of Covid, but as far as I could tell things have ended up alright. I accidentally stumbled on the continental room. It's the oldest bar in Fullerton. It started out as a real speakeasy in 1925. The bar tender Sue was super friendly and the drinks were great. Wednesday's is 50% off whiskey so it's easy to get buzzed for cheap. read more

Saw the Band Agent Orange, man they killed it there, great little place where you can be up and close with the band. Bartenders were friendly and quick and getting you serviced. My Favorite part was the Bathrooms were clean and they were big with a few stalls and pisser heads. The Continental Room. Once dubbed "The Viper Room of Downtown Fullerton," by me and the groupchat was a place with an ambiance so effortlessly cool, you almost felt cooler just for being there. Now, walking in feels like you're imposing on the bouncers' personal space, like they'd rather be anywhere else, and maybe you should be too or at least that how they made me feel. Kudos to their bartenders they're definitely knowledgeable. Inside, it's a club scene that you'd swear is curated by a magic 8-ball, with themes changing every night, as if they're throwing every trend at the wall, hoping something sticks. Look, I get it change is inevitable. But the soul of the place? That seems to have slipped away. I'll give it another shot in the summer, see if it's found itself by then. The Continental Room used to be the best quiet bar in Fullerton that happened to have live music every now and then. It was a bar first, music venue second. After changing owners in December 2023, it has now become a full-time, latin nightclub that just happens to have a bar in it. I enjoy it because I love to dance, but the dance floor is small so on a packed night it will be a tight squeeze and HOT! Howard the bartender poured us a laundry list of libations, including a White Russian, a vodka tonic, and a straight vodka shot, which led quite naturally to a Jack and Coke, all for $28. Very small dance floor pretty dirty restrooms, but who's chilling in the restroom anyways right? I wish they had snacks to soak up some of the alchohol that is consumed. Unfortunately, whenever I call and try to talk to someone they say management will have to "get back to me" about figuring out the charges.
