Always friendly and quick to serve -- and the BBQ and sides are very good. I usually order pulled pork with a side of their collards and a side of their cabbage/potato mix. Definitely worth a stop. I visit Jules Caribbean quite often and the food is always great. I tried their wings and was blown away. They were juicy and not over cooked so you know I had to get them again. It's worth the drive from DC solely to rip into a huge portion of the brisket - straight out of the smoker. This could be the best bbq I've had in northern Virginia. We didn't even plan on going to this venue - we just saw the giant smoker running at full blast while driving down the road and we HAD to stop. The second we were in line five other cars pulled off the highway but, thankfully, as you'll see in the attached photos - there was plenty and the price was fantastic. Cherry on the top of the whole experience was grabbing a homemade icy cold root beer from Paige's Pit stop to wash down the brisket that was literally pulled out of the smoker and sliced just for us. We found Jules Caribbean BBQ food truck on the highway near the Lidl in Ashburn. It was noon, we had just gone grocery shopping and we were starving. We spied Jules Caribbean BBQ food truck and did a u-turn to seek it out. What a great choice we made. We got a giant helping of smoked pork BBQ, mac & cheese, and cooked cabbage. Customer services team seemed to have a poor view of their boss as they kept saying their boss will only allow for very small portions to be served (not usual with Caribbean restaurants) but when someone they know came in they gave them a good portioned plate. read more

What a treat this was!!! Tucked away on a corner in Front Royal is this amazing Caribbean BBQ spot. I was lucky to be in the passengers seat as my guy and I were driving through town. Otherwise don't know that I would have seen this place. This was their first Sunday open and boy were we lucky!!! When we walked in the smoker was cranking. Could smell amazing BBQ smoking away. We ordered the 1/2 rack rib combo with a side of mac and collards. A quarter of jerk chicken and a side of red beans and rice. We took it to go, but you could also eat in. On another note...the man in there warmed my heart. I want to say it was the owner but I'm not completely sure. He was in there by himself doing it all. With a smile and with a sense of confidence in the food he was serving. Some places you can just tell the food was made with love, this place nailed it. The Smokey flavor came through so well on both the chicken and the ribs. Ribs were falling off the bone and seasoned perfectly. The jerk chicken was amazing. Be prepared for some heat, because it is powerful jerk. Anyone reading this please give this place a try. I love local businesses who put their heart into it. We see Jules Caribbean BBQ at Paige's Pit Stop off of Route 9 all the time and always say we will stop. We finally did. I was a little disappointed that he wasn't cooking beef this past weekend as I love a good brisket! However, the pulled pork was excellent and the Full Rack was AMAZING! They were the best ribs I've ever had. The pulled pork was such a unique taste. I can't wait to take my dad here when he comes for a visit. Hopefully there will be short ribs and/or brisket next time! I only took some a star off because I felt like the pulled pork portions were too small and the sides are limited. Jule's is NOT closed. Give them a call to see where they are. Jule's was at Old 690 Brewery. Not wanting run-of-the-mill BBQ, we decided to check them out first by having a discussion with the girl working the order window. She said she was fairly new with Jule's (keep her!) and we should have gotten her name to give kudos directly (no, your dad did not send us ). It was because of her enthusiasm about the food and her descriptions of the "sides" that made us decide to give Jule's a try. Jule was there serving us personally, plucking the juicy smoked meats directly from the pit smoker, just for us. Jule's BBQ would certainly win at the Houston Rodeo's BBQ competition. We don't usually get BBQ in Virginia, as we frequently visit Houston and there is amazing BBQ in Texas. We will now plan on visiting Old 690 and plan to have a meal there if we know Jule's will be onsite serving up his specialties. I imagine the "Caribbean" in the title confuses some, but this is just really great smoked meats with sides that someone gave thought to, instead of plain beans out of a can, and a chunk if bread as fillers. Jule's makes a tasty mix of onion, carrots, potatoes, spices and more sautéed together. In addition, he has a homemade mac-n-cheese. The girl described this by explaining it is really yummy (not out of a box) and they add four cheeses to the creamy mixture. read more

Amazing food. Came once with my sister for lunch. Sweet tea best I ever had!!! Mac and cheeese is on point. Sautéed cabbage was amazingly different too! Overall great food exceptional service. Came again today for a second round and after waiting about 15 minutes to get our order taken we had no choice but to leave because our lunch break was almost up. As we pull out of the parking lot Jule stopped us, told us to come back in and enjoy our meal on him. Amazing! We just got home from stopping here for lunch. Soooooo ridiculously good! I got the pulled pork and ribs platter. They both were amazing! The meat falls right off the bone with little effort. My boyfriend said the ribs were hands down the best he's ever ordered at a restaurant. I'd agree. The sides were great as well. I even got a free side, since he gave me the wrong side order which he corrected before even bringing the food out to us. Portions are huge and the price is reasonable. These gloves actually remained on his hands the entire interaction except when he had trouble grasping the single dollar bills for my change, I paid cash. I thought the BBQ ribs with sides of red beans and rice and cabbage slaw were all excellent! The owner is very friendly and his food tasted wonderful without tasting like anyone else's. First and for most the food was only ok. Parts were cooked right others were over cooked and dry. The service was not the best. We got our order taken but there was not an order for drinks until our food was served and we had to ask for drinks. Also, there was no silverware given until asked for and when it was brought to us it was dirty like it had just been taken from the wash bin and never cleaned. Restaurant would be decent if there were more people working (only one worker serving everyone so orders take forever). Would not recommend to anyone.
