Now that this ignoramus is in charge, everything has gone downhill customer service wise. I would be sad to leave Atlas (she is my go to girl & I was supposed to take my daughter in to see her before our family vacation, but I was so livid with ALI, I cancelled my appointments). I really don't want to get into the drama, but I need to tell the truth, so others will know. First of all, have spent an obscene amount of money here, and I will happily do so IF ownership gave a damn about their loyal clients and didn't treat them like garbage. **I'm referring to ALI, The jerk of an owner who has no clue what customer service really means. ** That said, I will be removing my pictures from this page. You do NOT have my consent to use my likeness or any member of my family's likeness to your benefit. If you continue to do so, I will file a cease and desist order. Additionally, Gabe, the sweet gentleman who cuts my hair, NO LONGER works here. You can find him at VOGUE SALON in Newport Beach. This is directed to you, ALI: I have addressed these incident(s) to your silent partner. If these situations are NOT rectified, I will have no choice but to leave, take my people, and find another salon. Let me make this CRYSTAL CLEAR: I will NOT tolerate your behaviour, ALIREZA. Rectify the situation, or not. Either way, I will very likely have to find a new salon.

I've had a Drybar membership for a while mostly because I love the concept of someone else washing…read moreand drying my hair. But if I'm being honest... the blowouts usually need a little fixing when I get home. This was the first time I walked out thinking she actually did a better job than I would have done myself. Nothing to fix. It looked great the second I left the chair. She was super friendly, there was free valet, and the whole experience just felt easy and polished. I've been to probably eight different Drybars around California and this one is hands down the best. I can see why it has better reviews than the others I've been to. Definitely coming back.

Extremely disappointing…read more I've been a loyal Drybar monthly member ($99/month) for over a year and have always enjoyed visiting this Newport Beach - Balboa Bay Club location, which made today's experience especially disappointing. I originally scheduled my appointment online for 12:45 p.m. Earlier that morning, around 11:00 a.m., I received a call from the salon explaining that my stylist had an emergency and asking if I would be willing to move my appointment to 2:30 p.m. While it was inconvenient and required me to rearrange other commitments, I agreed because I wanted to help accommodate their situation. When I arrived promptly at 2:30 p.m., I was told that the appointment had been moved to 1:30 p.m. instead, and there were no longer any openings. I immediately showed the manager on duty that I had updated my calendar to 2:30 p.m. during the phone call, but instead of trying to understand what had happened or offering a solution, I was repeatedly told that their records showed 1:30 p.m. What disappointed me most was not the scheduling mistake itself--mistakes happen. It was the complete lack of ownership or customer care afterward. The manager disappeared several times to speak with others in the back, returned only to tell me there was "nothing they could do," and relied solely on the fact that a confirmation email had been sent, despite the fact that I explained I had changed my calendar based on the phone conversation. I even asked to speak with the store manager or franchise owner, but was told the manager "doesn't take calls at home," and the franchise owner's information would not be provided. As a loyal member who changed my day to accommodate the salon's emergency, I expected at least an apology, some empathy, or an effort to make things right. Instead, I left feeling as though my time didn't matter and that I was somehow being blamed for their mistake. Customer service is tested when something goes wrong--not when everything goes according to plan. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of the level of professionalism and care I've come to expect. I sincerely hope someone from ownership reaches out, because this situation could have been resolved very differently.

I wanted to get a blowout on my birthday and actually do something for myself. It's not always easy…read morewith a toddler. I booked here last minute and they assigned me Bree. Location wise, the suite listed on the website is wrong so look up the name above the doors. It's a large space with plenty of room for 2 clients at once or in my case, a stroller with a fussy toddler. Maybe it's because my son was playing and inspecting everything in the space, but I've never had anyone do my hair so fast. Lol. I have 2 feet of hair and 6 packs of extensions. That's a lot to get dry. Bree was a champ though and very nice about it. Thank you for making my birthday and for being so patient with my son!

My favorite hair salon! So grateful I stumbled across this place. What initially brought me here…read morewas the all inclusive pricing of the blowout, no outrageous over charging if I wanted purple shampoo or if I have extensions (which I always do). But what kept me around for now 3 years is the amazing quality of experience and Bre. She is amazing , diligent, loves what she does and always gives me the much needed break from life for an hour with my blowout. I always leave happy and my hair always looks amazing. I also began getting my extension done here and Bre is the best with placement and knows how to install so I get the fullness I want and my natural thin hair doesn't reveal my weft/tapes. Can't recommend her enough!

I have thick, stubborn, and coarse hair. Most people one can't style or cut my hair correctly. Only Gabe. I have recommended him to my friends and family over the years and they keep coming back to him as well. Additionally, he did hair in Italy for some high profile clients. I'm SO happy I found him when he came back to the USA. The salon is nice and the other stylists seem friendly. I haven't gone to them for their services yet, but if I am in dire straits and if I don't have GABE available, I would happily go to them. Mimi is SO sweet and so is the Italian salon owner. That said, I really enjoy coming here. The decor of the place is charming, the atmosphere is nice, and everyone here is very friendly for the most part. I will continue to go to this salon for as long as Gabe is here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
