Valet is apparently free, but I found street parking in front of OSPI. I initially found SAGE on Yelp, then visited their website to learn more before booking. I really appreciated how transparent they are. Each stylist has a profile with a bio and a picture. The services and individual pricings are listed upfront in the booking portal, which made it easy to choose someone who fit what I was looking for. Price transparency is important to me, and at the very end I was charged exactly what I booked. My stylist was Mikayla, and she was incredibly meticulous/detail-oriented. She spent about 4.5 hours perfecting my Full Highlights, and I never felt like she was rushing through any part of the process. During the consultation, I felt heard. She listened to what I wanted without any judgment or pressure to steer me toward a different outcome. Instead, the conversation felt collaborative, with explanations that helped me make informed decisions. I know for some, having to chat for all that time may be daunting. Mikayla struck the perfect balance between friendly conversation and giving me space. She clearly communicated each step of the process before doing it. My Full Highlights service included foiling, toning, a shadow root, a hair mask, and a full blowout. I'm so happy with how everything turned out!

Colby really took the time to listen to what I wanted and understood exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to keep my long hair while adding movement and shape, and he absolutely nailed it. My hair finally looks the way I had envisioned. Beyond his talent, he was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout the appointment. Before I left, he even let me know that if there was anything I'd like adjusted after living with the haircut for a few days, he'd be happy to take care of it. I've came to this location multiple times due to scheduling/availability. And this one fall short for various reasons but truthfully, they need to figure out their front of house/manager situation. The very few times I've came, each time gets worse and worse. They only have about two or three stylists on the floor hence why their scheduling is so horrible. This last time I think every single minor thing that had happened to me in other visits, all happened at the same time for this one. When I book online, I make sure to put in the notes my hair type and also check off any type of add-ons for what I will be needing that day (assuming that they would accommodate or give me a call if they can't). Since I do have textured hair, I understand sometimes the 45 minute appointment might need some more time and if I do an add-on. I expressed in my notes what I need and sometimes they'll do what I ask sometimes they won't. This time around, as soon as I saw the stylist that was gonna work on me I already knew there was gonna be an issue. As soon as she touches my hair and plays with it for five seconds, she then tells the front desk/MOD that it's gonna take her more than 45 minutes in sort of an irritable attitude. Again, I put that in my booking notes in order for this to NOT HAPPEN. MOD then is playing around with her scheduling books and tells her to leave. The other stylist that I got paired with was still able to do my hair, but there was sort of some tension due to the fact that the risk switching around and the MOD didn't delegate much clearly to the girls. It also put me in an awkward position because it's not necessarily my fault, but I did feel like MOD was not doing anything in order to alleviate the situation, apologize to me, taking any accountability or even bothered to put my add-on included in my tab, which I had to express multiple times in order to get it. I can see why people have expressed this location, canceling their appointments last minute, trying to stack multiple clients in one day amongst three girls, and are not client focused whatsoever, just profit. It's very disappointing and I really hope something changes at this location.

I show the stylist a picture of what I'm looking for, my hair is washed thoroughly, and then there's about 30 minutes of styling. All in all, I'm usually done in 45 minutes or less and my hair looks gorgeous.
