GABE is my go to hairstylist here. He does all of my haircuts, styling, and so on. I have been going to him for quite some time, and he always gets everything done RIGHT. I have thick, stubborn, and coarse hair. Most people one can't style or cut my hair correctly. Only Gabe. I have recommended him to my friends and family over the years and they keep coming back to him as well. Additionally, he did hair in Italy for some high profile clients. To the owner of this place, Antonietta B. You responded to my honest review of Cierra with a lie. She didn't intend to fix my hair many times. She tried once to correct the color because the damage she had caused to my hair was irreversible. But she didn't fix the color either. And Cierra and you never called me. You should have at least returned the $720 I paid for Cierra to destroy my hair. Don't lie here. I am glad people can see the pictures. I've been coming to Vogue Salon, on and off, for years. Here is my take on this salon.... I LOVE the laid-back vibe. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The gals at the front desk are somewhat friendly and very helpful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Whenever I need Kerastase products, I come to this place for my product fix! This place is well maintained and clean. And while I have had my hair done a few times, here, mostly blow dry appointments, I feel that the talent is phenomenal! I've NEVER had a problem or issue with this place. But the parking availability can be an issue during certain times of the day. If you make an appointment during the lunch rush, good luck on trying to find parking. The lot gets crazy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's best to schedule your appointment in the morning, like 10am, or after 2pm for available parking spots.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That's my experience. My hair dresser told me my cut was $100. I came in with hair just an inch or 2 longer than my chin and asked for some long layers. While I do think $40 is a pretty cheap price, it is what their site said. My hair dresser also did not put a cape over me.. which I thought was odd. So the hair she cut off just landed on me. I've been going to my colorist, Kate, for a while now, and she consistently does amazing work. She's warm, friendly, and truly talented. I usually get full highlights, and they always turn out beautifully. I even trusted her to do my highlights for my wedding because I knew I'd walk out feeling confident and looking my best. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak hours since the salon is located in a busy strip mall, so give yourself a little extra time. The salon itself is stylish, clean, and well-maintained. The stylist I had been seeing for 1+yr left abruptly and the new stylist I was paired up with FRIED my hair right off. It's a bad situation because I can't exactly cover this up. I'm upset that I paid $211 + $50 tip for this. The previous stylist never fried my hair off, did the color block well, kept me comfortable when leaving me at the sinks ...this new stylist fired my hair off, did NOT use brass kicker so my hair is now choppy looking in varying shades of yellow, my scalp was burning and he didn't ask if I was okay under the heat, he didn't add an extra towel to pad my neck or anything after idk how long i was left sitting in the sinks ... My S/O got a haircut here 2 weekends ago. Essentially, she didn't initially like the haircut but left in hopes that it'd grow on her after a day or so. She woke up the next morning to style the new haircut and geninuely still disliked it and couldn't style it right. She called the salon, which was closed on a Sunday, and left a voice-mail right in front of me to them, which they never followed up nor responded. She then called the salon during buisness hours 2 days later, and they outright lied and claimed they never received a voice-mail. She proceeded to reexplain the situation to the on call receptionist, who said she'd pass the info to a manager to respond to. Over a week later, there is still no follow-up from a manager. When you're paying for a high quaility cut you'd expect the buisness to stand behind their work or make it right instead of ignoring feedback attempts. So we are left with this: if you decide to go here and get a haircut, please know they will not follow up to make it right in anyway shape or form. They're leave you hanging. Also good to note my s/o has come here 6 times prior for over 3 yeaes, the only reason she had a new stylist is because they have had huge turn over rate and she's lost 2 stylists the past year. It's a shame that we have to leave this review as they don't care about customer feedback and follow up. read more

I love Deanna so much! She's such a wonderful stylist! I've been seeing her since I moved here to OC in 2016 and have had her take great care of my hair since. She is knowledgeable, experienced, passionate in her craft, warm, and kind. I had cancer during my time seeing her and she has helped me so much making sure I look fabulous and confident while I regained my hair again. So many people have compliment my hair and all thanks to Vogue and Deanna. The staff are amazing too! I know this place gets great reviews but the hectic ambience and the unfriendly vibe( I was just sitting out on the bench right outside and they passively aggressively hovered by me implying I had so I felt I wasnt welcome to sit and drink my coffee that I got from the bakery next door). I was outside their business. No reason to stick their nose in my business once I left. the lack of clarity at the front desk about parking ( near impossible at Laguna location) and the fact that both hair dresser added services that I didn't request making my charge go up by a significant amount all left a bad vibe and a feeling of unease. not the right salon for my hair needs. I did find a different salon where I get services that feel comfortable and honest and up front about their pricing and where my hair dresser really works WITH me and doesn't start cutting without having a thorough discussion with me. She is genuinely friendly and does give me what I asked for and charges fairly with no surprises. And there is plenty of parking. read more

I waited more than a month since my negative experience at this hair salon so that I could give some time to evaluate and leave a honest but clear review. I first came to this salon for a in person consultation so that I could show them my bleached platinum hair and ask if they were able to do a root bleach retouch. My roots had only grown for 4 weeks and she said it would be great and she had a lot of experience on bleach blonde hair. I put my trust in her. Look at the results. She for some reason decided to over process my roots to a pale pale almost white and then put orange hair color on my hair from the roots to the middle of my hair. I came in with beautiful long blonde hair and left with a orange mess. The last photo is my hair more than a month after I went to this hair salon. She told me if I wasn't happy with the hair color that since it was a semipermanent hair Gloss the color would fade after a few washes. It has been more than a month and I've been to two salons for color corrections with BLEACH and this orange permanent hair color will NOT remove. I appreciate that she attempted to fix my hair after I I initially left my first review. I was pushed to delete the review I initially posted since she ended up giving me a angry call in the morning while I was at work. I could tell that she was really trying to fix my hair and tried her best but if you just look at the results.. the results are bad. Honestly maybe the stylists at this location need to understand their own limits and if bleaching someone's hair to a platinum blonde is beyond their capabilities then be honest with themselves and with clients. I came in with the expectation that she was able to bleach and tone to a platinum blonde since I only had minimal root regrowth and she was pretty confident so I trusted her. If she had just been honest with me I would have went to a different salon and gotten the results I wanted. Now I'm left with orange patchy hair that is even more damaged and fragile. I have horrible orange banding throughout my hair and bleaching it has not made the color budge at all. The salon would also be able to improve their business if they were able to get more training and insight on being inviting and inclusive to people of all backgrounds. When I went to this salon my hair was described as "ethnic" and this really can make a customer feel uncomfortable. There are so many people with different hair types and textures and for her to make a comment about my hair being "ethnic" rubbed me the wrong way. It could have been because of the generational gap. When I made comments to the hair stylist that I didn't like the results she said I was crazy and that I was a anxious person. She also blamed the lighting that made my hair look bad. No personal accountability and instead blame. I can be called wrong all she wants but just look at the facts/ photos. I've went to different salons to show my results that I got after coming to Vogue salon and a few of them asked or joked if the hair stylist that did my hair hated me or her job and stated that she might have intentionally messed up my hair. One said she wasn't able to understand how it went so bad just for a root retouch. You can see the photos. I was already light blonde except for my minimal roots that grew. I'm trying to be optimistic and think that she did not intentionally ruin my hair and that it was due to lack of skill. It's just a bit embarrassing to have paid this salon almost $300 for this result. Please save your money and think twice before coming here. It'll save you so much more money and time trying to fix their work. You also don't need to be mistreated and lied into thinking you should like the bad results of your hair. Side note for anyone considering coming here. She will not dry or blow dry your hair because it's not included in the service. You need to prebook a separate blowout. Incredible. :) Almost $300 and they won't dry your hair at the salon so you won't be able to see how your hair look dry until later. I believe this is so that the stylist doesn't have to show you how your hair looks at the salon. It's so hard to visually tell how your hair color looks when it's wet. read more

Had appointment for hair color and cut. My hair looked ok when I left. The hair looked terrible within a week. The cut was choppy and it fought with my natural curls, and my hair had greenish highlights. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I reluctantly called to ask about correction because I thought it might get better with purple shampoo. It didn't look any better, so I decided I should just let them know.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (I spent $350 plus 20% tip). I decided to say something. I went in for color correction and the lady that did it kept telling me she needed to put warm tones. It ended up quite orange. so, meanwhile, I had to go to another salon to have a different cut and color, spending another $200. I'm very unhappy with the salon and don't appreciate wasting my money and having my hair damaged. Would no not go back or refer anyone else to this salon. read more
