I rarely leave reviews, but my experience here was disappointing enough to warrant one. While waiting for my appointment, the waiting room TV was blaring Fox News, which felt unprofessional and polarizing in a medical setting where patients of all backgrounds come for care. To make matters worse, the receptionist was loudly complaining about a patient she had just spoken with on the phone--mocking them within earshot of everyone in the room. It made the whole environment feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I didn't feel respected as a patient and won't be returning. read more

Going to the dentist was always a dreadful experience for me until I started coming to Dr. Tudose. I had a bad experience at western dental and would've been happy to never set foot in a dentist again, but we all know that's just gross and not realistic. After a few years (don't judge) I was referred to Dr. Tudose and I was immediately comfortable. He is very down to earth and knows his stuff. He treats patients like long time friends. I've been seeing dr Tudose and his dental hygienists for a few years now and they always do a terrific job. Dr. Tudose recently put an implant in the back where I had a cracked tooth. I was impressed on how smooth the whole process went. It wasn't painful, AT ALL, he was precise, the implant was an amazing fit and looks like a natural tooth. Not only did the implant exceed my expectations, but the price did also. There was no hidden fees, no hidden agendas like many other dentist do and it was the most reasonable price than other dentist in the area. If your looking for implants, root canal, deep cleaning or just a great dentist, Dr. Tudose is a great spot. Not the fanciest of places, but for sure the best care. read more

My whole family has been going to him for about 6 years now, he is AMAZING with children, including special needs and my kids look forward to going to the dentist...especially my daughter with Down syndrome. They are all caring, personable and really know their stuff. Dr. Julian Tudose, is a phenomenal dentist. The negative reviews are absolutely false allegations. It's absurd that Yelp is allowing these FALSE reviews. This is defamation of character and grounds for a serious lawsuit. A reflection on his work ethic: I have had been traumatized by several pediatric dentists as well as adults. I have a huge phobia. I take anti-aniexty meds. Getting through the door is a minimum of three. Dr. Tudose has a gentle touch. He will make certain your comfort is ideal. He will use numbing gel before he injects you. He also has a huge flat screen tv that patients can view during their dental procedure (s). Yours truly has a iPod blasting in her ears. Dr. Tudose jams with me, haha. I'm the patient from hell. Seriously. I shake, cry, sweat and cannot control my tremors. Dr. Tudose and his staff take their time. You are PRIORITY. I drive from Buena Park all the way to Yucaipa to see him! He's that incredible. I've referred him to over 18 friends, family and acquaintances. He's also very accommodating to emergency calls. His pricing is more than fair. If you're a patient with aniexty he will write you a RX. He also has the good stuff-- gas! He'll put you to sleep. In all seriousness. I understand it's vital to view these reviews. Dr Tudose has been my physician for almost a year now & I've never been so taken care of! I have odd anaphylactic allergies so it's always been difficult to find a dentist especially, willing to take me on as a patient. I always felt I was against the wall & scared even but with Dr Tudose & his girls in the office it's a team effort. They make you part of that team! He took the time to find a way around my severe allergy triggers & always keeps tabs on me after any procedure Benedryl is needed. I'm constantly reminded why I drive to another city for my dental care, there's NO PLACE I'd rather be. So if you know me, you know I hate the Dentists office. I've have so many horrible dentists work on my teeth. So I avoided going to the dentist. That was until I got an abscess recently and wound up in the ER. I went on a hunt to find a Great dentist. My brother in-law recommended his Dentist Dr. Tudose. Even though I was terrified the pain was hell on earth so I made an appointment to be seen, Dr. Tudose is an amazing dentist! He is very friendly and funny. He made me feel comfortable, which has always been a struggle. I ended up needed a root canal and a tooth pulled. He and his staff took amazing care of me! He numbed me up very well and I felt no pain during the procedure. I am grateful to have found him and his office. I recommend him highly for all your dental needs!!! Avoid like the plague. Dr. Julian Tudose took a month to extract the crumbled molar of my son who was in pain and refused to release medical records under the CA medical records act. He and his office staff were rude and incredibly disrespectful to a parent concerned about their child. Dr. Tudose is also spreading false statements about a parent who merely according to LAW requested to obtain the medical records as instructed by the other parent. CA Family code section 3025. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, access to records and information pertaining to a minor child, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and school records, shall not be denied to a parent because that parent is not the child's custodial parent. Medical and dental records are governed by the Patients' access to health records act (PAHRA) which specifies that once a written request has been made to the provider that they have to release those records to the patient or the patient's representative. PAHRA specifically states the following: Upon written request and payment of reasonable clerical costs, an adult patient of a health care provider, a minor patient authorized by law to consent to medical treatment, or the patient's representative is entitled to inspect the patient's medical records. A patient is allowed to inspect her/his records during business hours within five working days after the provider receives the written request. The patient or patient's representative may be accompanied by one other person of her/his choosing. The patient or the patient's representative is also entitled to obtain copies of all or any portion of the medical records by presenting a written request to the health care provider specifying which records are to be copied. A provider may require the patient to pay copying fees, not to exceed twenty-five ($.25) cents per page, or fifty ($.50) cents per page of microfilm, plus any additional reasonable clerical costs incurred in making the records available.The wording of the statute implies that a provider could demand payment before providing the copies. The health care provider must send the copies within fifteen days after receiving the written request. The provider may require reasonable verification of identity prior to permitting inspection or copying of the records. PAHRA defines "health care provider" as a health facility, clinic, home health agency, physician or surgeon, podiatrist, dentist, psychologist, optometrist, chiropractor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker, all licensed as described in Cal. Health &; Safety Code §§ 123105(a)(1)-(12); PAHRA defines "Patient's representative" as "a parent or guardian of a minor who is a patient, or the guardian or conservator of the person of an adult patient, or the beneficiary or personal representative of a deceased patient." I walked into the the office I immediately noticed the receptionist was not wearing a mask and the woman next to her had a mask below her chin. I also noticed staff in the back was not wearing masks. TBH, I was horrified to see that in the middle of a devastating pandemic these dental professionals were not doing everything possible to protect their patients. I'm high risk and this was ridiculous. I asked the receptionist nicely why she wasn't wearing a mask and she replied, "Our doctor doesn't require it." I said incredulously, "Wow , in a pandemic you're not requiring it?!" She flippantly replied, "You don't have to stay." I told her, "Oh, we're not." These are medical professionals not taking a highly contagious, potentially deadly disease seriously and doing nothing to protect their patients' health. No wonder this virus is out of control. In 2014, I had an implant installed by Dr. Tudose. While I was still in California, the crown/abutment came loose and Dr. Tudose had to grind the crown off and reinstall a new abutment and crown. He put a larger abutment on the implant and put yet another crown on that larger abutment. Within a few months, the crown/abutment again came loose but by this time, I was living in Arizona. I went to a dentist in AZ and he ground the loose crown off of the abutment and put the old abutment back in place by tightening it with a torque wrench. Dr. Tudose never did this. He used only his fingers to tighten the abutment. The AZ Dr. had another crown made and put it in place over the torque wrench tightened abutment and here I am, four years and three months later and the crown is still tightly in place with no problems. The only problem is that I had to pay over five hundred dollars for the AZ dentist to do this. I feel Dr. Tudose should reimburse me the cost of what the AZ dentist had to do. If Dr. Tudose had used a torque wrench instead of his fingers to tighten the abutment, I would not have had to go through the inconvenience and expense here in Arizona. I would not go back to Dr. Tudose because I feel he is not a thorough dentist. read more

So that deterred me from going back to a dentist ever since. I had a sensitive tooth that had been bothering me for a long time so I knew it was finally time to go get it taken care of.
