She spoke to me in a hostile tone when I held my eyebrows wrong. Then I tried to make polite conversation and she was very rude saying it's racist to ask where she's from (okay?). Finally at the end, I had to pay and she said it was $7 although no where posted do they say it's $7. It's only $2 more but they should really be transparent about their prices. Apparently it's $5 for clean up and $7 for a new threading. It's not breaking the bank but I pointed that out to her and she said "since it's killing toy so much, ok to pay $5". I don't think she needed to speak to me this way or be mean. It was really unnecessary. Sure it a good price but you really need to know how to speak to people. What a nasty interaction. I do recommend going on off hours - first thing in the morning on weekends for example - because there's usually nobody there so you can be in and out in 5 minutes. It can get really crowded on weekend afternoons. I want to address the claim that the ladies are rude because they speak in their own language. People speaking a language you don't speak are not necessarily doing so to secretly insult you. When I have been, they've been clearly just chitchatting about life, like humans. This is in a neighborhood where nobody really speaks English and Anglophones have to deal with us speaking Spanish all the time. There shouldn't be an issue when the shoe is on the other foot! This review is for eyebrows, I haven't really done any other service well enough to review. I think I had my upper lip done like 10 years ago and it was horribly painful but probably not more or less than anywhere else, just the nature of the skin there.

Today (Thursday July 17th at 1pm) I'm not sure what was happening but there was an extensive line. The threading artist was obviously practicing first come first served which Im used to. However the issue today was me getting pushed behind all of these customers who came in the shop AFTER me. Me being the only African American in there. Not saying it's a race thing, but let your brain paint whatever picture it needs. She then calls another person and I give a look of unsatisfactory and she says "you'll be next." Obviously I'm upset waiting there for 45 minutes already, and on my lunch break. I had to leave not only to get back to work but to keep myself from crashing out. I just think it's disrespectful to treat any guest this way but especially one who comes in every month for the last 3 years. The front desk staff here is AMAZING. They are so kind and will always tell you what promotions are running or what different payment plans there are, but they never try to forcefully up-sell you on anything. My only complaint is that the estheticians can be really pushy on getting you to tip them via Venmo or Cash App rather than on your card when you check out at the front desk. I've also had an esthetician Venmo request me more money which made me really uncomfortable.

My forehead got burned from the wax. The threading, however, was good. One more thing to be careful about is that the owner does not honor the prices listed on the board. Her waxing prices are more expensive than high-end waxing places like Uni K Wax, despite having much lower hygiene standards(she dips the same wooden waxing spatula into the wax machine and reuses it until she can't use it anymore). I was charged $30 for underarms, whereas it costs $25 at Uni K, and half legs with a "deal" cost $55, while it costs $50 at Uni K. The only thing that was better was eyebrow threading.

Very accommodating. Brow Sessions last around 2 1/2 hours. You go for one session, heal for around 4 to 6 weeks, and then come back for a perfecting session.
