I went there for the contact lens deal for 99 that is advertised on their website. It comes with free boxes of lens and 50 coupon for glasses. They advertise frames at 69.00 and up. I called for appointment and they let me pick the day and time which I liked because some days I cannnot leave work. On my way there for my appoinmtent I get an automated call sating my appointment was the next day, a day which I couldnt. I called and they acted like it was my fault and I had to come into tomorrow. I said well then I will not be in because thats the one day I cannot come in and I do not mind if I have to rescedule to next week. I was transfered and they were able to squeeze me in later that same day, which was good. I am near sighted and need prescriptions to see far away. I read 100 essay papers weekly for work and I have never had problems seeing the words. I come in and the dr said I need to be switched to multifocal lens and then went on to say thats normal for my age since Im getting older (40 yrs old). Two years ago I was just fine at a different doctor. I figured oh well. Until I got out front and was told since I need multifocal that online coupon doesnt apply and I have new multfocal prices on not just my lens but the exam itself. I had to pay 99 for just the exam and then they said my contacts were 150 a box, where Im used to paying 50 a box. I said I was just going to buy them on 1800contacts and to just charge me for the exam and I would just get glasses later. They said they would price match me on the contacts so I went ahead and got them. I couldnt find any lens in the store under 100 bucks so I got a pair for 110. Then the lens were crazy expensive since im now on multifocal. The tech offered me a deal if I signed up for the club for 20 bucks where I got 50% off my glasses. So my total price was 500 instead of the 800 full price for glasses and 2 boxes of contacts. I am happy I did get a discount, however, I was only expecting to pay 300 at first.

The second sign on the front of the building says same day glasses - but mine took 10 days. The eye doctor was good - and Walmart can't seem to keep their eye doctors.

After having headaches and trouble seeing for however long, I was excited. Wrong lenses were in my glasses. Didn't realize until I got home and tried reading with them. Furious, I bring them back and ask how they could put the wrong lenses in. They say they'll take care of it, so I give the glasses back. A week later, get a text my glasses are ready. Leave work to pick them up, and they aren't there. Fed up with the gross incompetence, I ask for a refund and cancel the glasses. (At this point, it's been nearly a month since I ordered my glasses and no end in sight) Am told they can't until the manager is in and he'll give me a call. Guess who still hasn't called and guess who still doesn't have their money back. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOU SEEING AND YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

I wasn't going to leave a review but they just sent a text saying that my prescription expired and I must "act soon". Fun fact, prescriptions are good for a year. Lying chumps still trying to blow smoke. FYI, Costco is way cheaper. Doesn't seem like it up front but I got two pair of glasses with higher end frames with progressive AND transition lenses for $400. They wanted $375 for just one. That "free frame" deal is smoke and mirrors.

HOWEVER, both appointments were a marathon of frustration! The first day our appointment was at 10:30, and we weren't done until 3:45. We were upset to sit in the waiting room for several hours, but hoped it was an unusual day. But his next appointment a week later was for 9:30. They shuffle patients from room to room to room, doing an exam and getting papers signed. In each room there is a LOT of sitting and waiting! Finally at 11:30 we were taken to the surgery waiting room, which was full. We knew we were in for another long day when patients started telling us their appointments were for 8, 8:30, etc. So we sat, and sat, and sat! They have NO REGARD for their (mostly SENIOR patients) that have not had any water or food since the night before! FINALLY at 3:45 he was called back for surgery preparation. Guess what? The dilation of his eye that was done that morning had worn off and had to be redone!! He was so dehydrated, that it took four tries to get his IV going! (which he never has trouble with). The 10-15 minute surgery went fine. By this time it was 15 minutes until closing at 5:00. He came out of surgery, had IV and heart monitors disconnected, and was wheeled out to the car. The nurse said to help him at home because he's still weak and shakey. i can't imagine why. No post-op observation. Just put in the car, 71/2 hours later, for a procedure that takes about an hour from preparation to recovery!! The Institute needs to figure out how to fix this. Because this treatment is ridiculously inefficient!

I had my first appointment and everything went very well. Everyone in the office was so friendly…read moreand helpful.
