I believe it was Laura who got me started with the paperwork. I hadn't gotten my eyes checked in 2 years. I brought in my old script to hopefully speed up the process. Laura was great. Then I got paired up with Belinda to do the Optomap and other tests. I told her I was concerned with accuracy due to not getting much sleep before coming in. It was obvious she was listening because she could tell when my eyes were not wanting to cooperate and made sure to give me time to blink or rest. I was then quickly partnered up with Doctor B. who I must say is the best I have dealt with. He was aware of the eye fatigue due to lack of sleep and it felt like my entire visit with him was tailored to making sure the results were exactly what I see on a regular basis and not just because of the fatigue. My results from him were great news which I was happy to hear. Will definitely see him from now on. Finally I was paired with Malia to pick out frames. I showed what I currently had and mentioned losing 50lbs so my glasses felt off some how and could use help. She was ecstatic to help and said helping people pick out frames is her favorite thing. We were on the same page as far as colors and looks. When she asked me to try on a few pairs I wasn't sure about the second I put them on she was like Nope. She helped me pick out a few pairs to narrow it down, honestly ones I prolly wouldn't have gravitated towards on my own but when I put them on I actually LOVED them... she even had me try on the completely round wire frame type and I would have never picked them up in a million years... I actually liked them but wasn't bold enough to pull the trigger on them. She asked about what I do for work, driving habits, screen time, etc. Made some recommendations for type of lens at first all I could see in my head was $$$ but I'm very glad I took her recommendation because in the end with my VSP insurance the bulk of the upgrades done on my lens was covered. I usually avoid premium or upgraded items anywhere I go due to seeing the cost of it. I'm glad to know that my insurance covers the majority of it because my eyes shouldn't suffer just because I get sticker shock. That being said overall cost before insurance was $770 and with insurance my out of pocket was $170.00. I didn't think that was bad at all for Great Frames, HD Lens, Anti reflective coating and the protection plan. I forgot to mention this was for an appointment at 4:40 pm on New Years Eve. I am certain everybody was eager to get home to watch the ball drop but not one of them rushed me or made me feel like I was holding them up. A+++ Service all around. i went to pearl vision on sat. 8/8/2020 had a 3:20 appt. goes in the lady says may i help you i say i have appt for 3:20, are you o. i said yes. she says go over their and wash your hands and then we will see you, i'm thinking about this and i say to her , you said that to me like i'm nasty or dirty or something,the white man she waiting on said i had to do the same, i say first of all sir i'm not talking to you, then next a black man name mike says no that not true,cause when i came in you told me to have a seat right over here, so you are not consistent,so now she says if you dont stop talking about this i will call the police, so i told her to call the police cause i came to see the eyedoctor and not her anyway , like i told her their is away you say thing to people, i'm 67 so i am more afraid of the covid than you are , so just don't trreaten people with the police and they haven't done any thing, she told us two blacks that she was the manager and she can do that, dr. bartlette father was my dr. first now i'm still using the bartlett's, if it wasn't for him i wouldn't go to pearl vision, and i'll b e glade for him to go back to his own business so now we have laura wants to call the police on blacks that haven't done anything( she is just like the woman in the park who called police on the man for asking her to put her dog on a lease so it wouldn't scare the birds) so i took my eye prescription with me and will get me a frame somewhere else,no vsp frame money given to pearl vision. read more

Today we had an appointment made at another place, but they overbooked and we were out of luck. We stopped by Pearle Vision and they had a cancellation for this afternoon and made it so easy to fit us in! Dr. Bartlett was absolutely amazing with my four year old. She was smiling the whole time and felt so comfortable. He explained every test he did and we felt totally informed. He could see that her left eye was not absolutely perfect, but he recommended for us to do routine appointments to check up on it instead of prescribing glasses. Laura is amazing. I was vacationing in Northern Indiana and realized I'd forgotten to pack my daily contacts. I visited the office and Laura was able to fill my eye prescription with a comparable contact that would get me through my 2-week vacation. I called Pearl Vision to explain that I needed a screw replaced in my glasses frame and that the screw in the frame may be stripped could she help me?
