Julie has been my pet sitter since I moved to San Francisco in 2005 when I found her through Pet Sitters International--where I have found all of my excellent petsitters over the past ten or so years. She is extremely trustworthy, efficient, affable, and professional. She is also one of the most reasonably priced pet sitters in the city. I never worry when my cat is under her care. She's bailed me out on several occasions when I've been my absent-minded self and called her after I've already abandoned the poor kitty alone at home. By far, the best testament to her value is that on the rare occasion I've been home when Julie has visited, my 16 year-old cat has jumped from my lap and run straight to her. read more

You can't go wrong using Julie. She's reliable, conscientious, knowledgeable and capable. She's been sitting for out two cats, now 19 years old, for about seven years. I have never known her not to be available (or have a reliable back-up) or to fail to show. It's obvious that this lady loves the animals in her charge. Whenever we come back there's always a note from her telling us anything that we might need to know or just telling us that everything went well. A week or so ago, the "welcome home" note pointed out some symptoms that the boys were showing that we should have noted ourselves but hadn't. As a result they went straight to the vet and are now getting treatment for chronic renal failure. Julie extended their lives and improved the quality of their last months with her note. For that we owe her far more than her fees will ever cover. I recommend her without reservation. read more

"Oh..., you're back. Well that was quick." ... our orange cat (seemingly) said as he walked down the stairs to greet the sounds of the opening door. He sniffed us for a second then walked away, unaffected by our return from a week long trip. Normally when we get back from vacation, our cats are in serious need of immediate affection. Head butts, pitiful meows, and the need to climb up on us, or just plain sulking with eyes that say, "why did you do this to me?" are more common. Not this time. Our grey cat didn't even come downstairs. Now that's a sign that they've gotten all the attention and affection they needed while we're gone. And that is definitely because of Julie. We are serious cat lovers and have found someone who treats our cats even better than we do. I wish I could give more stars. So do our cats. read more

i love julie! she's a sweet lady who obviously loves what she does and it shows. i have 2 asshole wiener dogs, and she wasn't put off by their assholery. julie will walk your dogs, give them their meds, feed them, give them love, and clean up any mishaps that may occur while you're out. she will give you updates via text, which i really enjoy. julie also has this great british accent, so it almost seems cute when she tells you that one of your dogs "sprinkled" a wee bit (pun intended) on the floor. read more

I have so many wonderful things to say about Julie's pampered pet service - she really offers an amazing service I often think about how much more complicated owning a pet would be without her. I don't know where to begin so I think I will just make a list. 1. She is extremely reliable and accommodating, if I need to schedule dog walking outside of my normal schedule she can do it - never once has there been an issue, if she is out of town she has a wonderful replacement that steps in, it never seems to be a problem when I make last minute plans to get out of town either. She even offers to come and get my dog and bring her home so that I don't have to worry about getting her to and from Julie's when I am headed out of town - that is quite the service! 2. She goes way beyond the call of duty. My little pup got horribly sick after I left for the day. Julie bathed my little sweetie and sorted out a new bed for her (we were crate training at the time). 3. She can handle my neurosis - when we first got our puppy I was a bit overprotective and she was great at putting up with all of my questions. 3. My dog loves Julie she is so excited to see her and stay at her place - it may even make me a bit jealous. I couldn't ask for anything more Julie is so sweet to my dog it warms my heart. Oh also here are the FAQs as yelp reader sometimes I wish people would give all the details a walk is $20 - usually between 1.5 to 2hrs at an enclosed dog park with other dogs - my dog is always pooped afterwards. She charges by the night for boarding $45 - you pet basically has the run of the house and her backyard with her two very well mannered dogs. read more

I've been using Julie's Pampered Pet care for many years now. I had two elderly austrailian sheherd who Julie lovingly cared for during their mature years. She would take them out giving them the walk and attention they needed. She even helped administer sub-q fluids when I was too squeemish to do so. Now I have a six month old bundle of love, Brando, who Julie takes out three times aweek. She is careful of his "yet to be neutered" status, so other male dogs dont get overly agressive toward him. Best of all, when I get home, Brando is tired. Quite a feat for a young aussie pup. Julie really understands dogs' nature, and balances the dogs she takes out so they all can enjoy their excursion. I also love how she goes to a variety of parks - keeps my active intelligent dogs engaged and happy. I can count on Julie to always show up, and take excellent care of my pup. I recommend her very highly. read more
