My wife and I stopped in for some lunch on Sunday. This was our first time here. My wife had the shrimp scampi and I had the lasagna (with Italian sausage). The food was excellent. Food and service were both excellent. We were a party of 6 adults and two children and everyone had a different items from the menu. The only dish that lacked taste was the shrimp and pasta. There were four items available from the dessert menu, however the chef did not recommend the cannoli due to the filling not being to his liking. Since we couldn't decide which one to pick from the remaining three, we left the choice up to the chef. Guess he couldn't decide either and sent out all three. We will certainly return! read more

We had dinner at Juliet Italian Kitchen in Georgetown on the Saturday before New Year's. Although we had tried the restaurant twice before, we finally had a a great and memorable experience! Much of it was due to the incredible first rate fine dining experience of having an experienced waiter. Thank you again Mauricio, I hope I spelled your name correctly! You were amazing! Our service was flawless! The food is very good, but would be even better if the chef tasted the items before they are served. The Clams Casino was overly salty, and would be better if the bacon was blanched before combining with the other ingredients. Why do I have the nerve to comment on the food? Because I am a trained chef and feel it is my duty and privilege to help a restaurant do even better! The pasta de Mare was good, but the house made pasta lacked salt and was slightly gummy. The Linguine with clams was decent, but again I wish the chef would taste the sauce before it was sent out. I had the Lasagna Bolognese which was delicious! Nothing to critique in any way. The wine list has a number of interesting choices, a really interesting Aglianico from Napoli and several white dry wines which I would consider again including an Italian Sauvignon Blanc. All in all, I think if this restaurant upped its game in the service department they would have a winner on their hands! Maybe let Mauricio train the younger staff in fine dining protocol! No, I'm serious! The small problems in the kitchen can surely be fixed by tasting the food! Happy for this place! A fine dining experience is a welcome addition to Georgetown! read more

Was excited to try out a new place for a friend's birthday celebration and booked 2 weeks in advance, and ended up being let down but the restaurant. Very disappointed by the hostess and treatment we got immediately walking in. I had a reservation for 5:45 for a party of 4. We got in line at the hostess stand at 5:50 and got to the front of the line at 5:57. We were immediately told that we were too late and our table was no longer reserved and they only held tables for 10 minutes. We explained that we were in line well before those 10 minutes and they argued with us telling us we should've have been there earlier. To us it seemed like they had given up the table well before those 10 minutes were up. Very rude and don't recommend solely for the customer service. read more

My wife and I have been trying to come to juliet since gumbos closing. Since walking through the door the staff was extremely professional, the hostess was able to open up the patio to accommodate us on a last minute whim. We enjoyed our cocktails with a nice view of the square. Disappointed to see that the wild boar ravioli isn't on the menu since it's what drew us in the first place. Overall a great experience and we will be again. read more

We made reservations for 4 . We will receive by the hostess and right away sat down. Our waitress Christina was really very helpful, professional and very helpful and knowledgeable. Our appetizers came out right away . We had stuffed mushrooms & calamari very delicious. We all had different meals Bolognese pasta, chicken Parmesan, and clams with linguine. The portions were good size. The waitress brought us Italian bread to deep with olive oil. We had for dessert the Tiramisu. All over all was great . Manager stop by to asked how we liked the food and so on. We really recommend this place is really liked originally Italian food. Can't wait to come again. read more

I loved everything about my Juliet experience, from the Aperol Spritz and amazing wine list to the bruschetta to the mouthwatering filet and homemade gelato for dessert. The atmosphere is magical... I have eaten both in the main dining room and in the balcony overlooking the square, and the ambiance was warm, romantic and inviting. The restaurant did a full remodel of this gorgeous historic building and the results are worth the wait. Best restaurant on the square... so glad to have Juliet in Georgetown! read more

So, we decided to check out the poppy fest and thought it'd be great to support a new spot while we were there. It's cool how loads of places sell drinks outside during the fest. After soaking up the sun all day and mingling with the crowd, everything kind of blends together, you know? We were parched and asked if it was cool to bring our drinks inside. They were like, "Yeah, sure, if you bought them here." And I was like, "Oh, yeah, we did," genuinely thinking we had. We settled in, ordered a new drink, and some snacks to go with it. My drink arrived, but the other one we brought in was still chilling on the table. Then, about 20 minutes in, this person who seemed to be the manager comes over, grabs our drinks, and yelling at us. We litterly felt like she was going to physically attack us. I totally get why they'd want to take the drinks away, but I wish they'd done it in a chill way instead of making a scene and treating us badly. We asked for the bill, paid for everything--including the bites we didn't even touch--because supporting local businesses is super important to us, even though the whole experience felt pretty embarrassing and unprofessional. Honestly, they could've handled it way better. Left feeling super uncomfortable, like the manager was about to lose it on us, we left all our food untouched but made sure to pay because hurting a small business is the last thing we want. I've heard mixed things about this place , and now I guess I know why. If you encounter Amy becareful she seems to deal with anger issues and does not seem fit to deal with public issues well.Mind you no one ever said to us we didn't purchase the drinks here, until she appeared ripping them out of our drink holders. read more

First, I like to recognize excellent service by name so we would like to compliment these Individuals for their Courteous, Professional and Respectful conduct. Mauricio Fernández, Vince De la Cruz and Paola Jimenez Cortes!! Our Server(Mauricio) Actually Served us both Times. He remembered Us Right Away and With His Friendly and Hospitable Style, Welcomed Us immediately. The Food(Im Italian), was Very good The Lasagne and bread was amazing. My wife stated that the first time we came the Shrimp Scampi was too. We plan to try a different pasta dish each time we come. What I've learned about The Restaurant Business, If 85% of your Patrons provide Good reviews , You're on The Right Track! As a Restaurant Entrepreneur, You Will Never make Everyone Happy. That's How Life is! My Wife and I are very Romantic Folks That Embrace Ambiance, So we would like to Have the atmosphere a little Dimmer, But overall we Are Still Happy with The Interior Design! Four of us went to Juliet's for lunch recently on a weekday. One of us had already eaten at Juliet's for lunch and had a great experience. We all opted for the pre fixe lunch menu that consists of one starter and one main course. She highly recommended the Tomato Basil soup so we all ordered it for our starter. We all agreed the flavor was delicious, but the soup was barely warm. No one approached our table so we all agreed that we would take the rest home. The main entrees arrived and two were ice cold. The waiter was told this and he brought over the manager. He apologized profusely and shortly brought two fresh plates, better, but still not the temperature one would expect. We ordered a dessert of 4 cannolis which were fine. When we asked for the check, the waiter informed us that there would be NO check! The whole meal was complimentary. The manager informed us that he will share our experience with the owners so that these errors can be corrected. Needless to say, we were very impressed by the restaurant's response. My wife and I decided to try Juliet's Italian Kitchen in Georgetown, TX. which had recently opened. The service was terrific but couldn't say that about the food. We both ordered chicken parmesan, a $25 entree. When the food arrived, the chicken was sitting on a pile of overcooked, soggy spaghetti which was heavily coated with what was supposed to be a marinara sauce. The color of this sauce is normally red since it's tomato based. However, Juliet's version of this sauce was thick, dark maroon with a bitter taste and generously poured on top of a beaded chicken breast. They used this sauce like they were proud of it. And then what seemed to be an after thought, there were a few strips of mozzarella floating in the sauce that was on top for the chicken. You would expect the cheese to be melted on top of the chicken. The meal doesn't improve because the chicken was very tough and a challenge to cut and chew. On my second cut, the chicken slithered out of the breading because all the sauce had made it soft. To top things off, the dish was lukewarm at best. For a so called Italian restaurant which claims to be inspired by Italian cuisine found in New York City's Little Italy, this meal was a joke. I have been to Italian restaurants in NY city's little Italy and in Boston's North End and never had food like this. Juliet's is not a good restaurant. I would suggest that they get a copy of America's Test Kitchen Italian Classics. They might be able to learn how to actually make Italian food. We have no plans to return to this restaurant. read more
