Dr. Ampadu is the best, but his staff are the absolute worst. They don't care at all. They don't…read morepick up calls, they don't follow up with patients, and they leave you hanging. I've been waiting FOUR weeks for prior authorization for my medicine and they still haven't done anything. When I asked to speak to Dr. Ampadu himself, they flat-out refused to connect me. If this continues, Dr. Ampadu is going to lose patients because of his staff. They should not be working in a doctor's office -- period.

There MUST to be a breakdown in communication between Franklin Ampadu and his staff. They rarely…read moreanswer the phone and when they do it sounds like you are speaking to Wednesday Addams! Whenever there's an issue you have to call at least 5 times! I was told today that "it's up to the Dr weather or not he calls you back or responds to messages left." He called in a prescription that needs a prior authorization. This was 7/31. He has yet to give the insurance provider the necessary documentation. Today is 8/14. I've never been greeted or even gotten a smile from his staff in the 5 years I've been his patient. They only smile or laugh amongst themselves or when they're eating. I make it a point to be kind to everyone no matter where I am. These people are terrible and he needs to do something because I am exhausted dealing with his staff. I am seeking a new primary care physician. I know patients come a dime a dozen and I will be replaced. I think it's sad and unnecessary to lose patients due to your staff showing a lack of care and being unkind. I do not recommend this Dr. if you expect a certain level of care, concern, or kindness. "Hello" "How are you" "Thank you " "Have a great day" Simple easy words. Can go a long way!
