This place is great for photos with the little ones. My daughter took in my granddaughter for pics. My wife and tagged along and were very happy with the service. The team is great with children! Julie was able to fit me in at the last minute and I am so glad she did! It never occurred to me that newborn photography sessions are booked way in advance, so it was by luck that I happened to stumble on her through a recommendation of a friend. For starters, Julie is very prompt, she messaged me a few minutes after I sent an inquiry through her facebook. She is flexible. Despite being on vacation with her family, she found some time to fit me in for a photoshoot, and the entire transaction was very easy, as she uses Venmo to process her payments (you can also pay the balance via cash). She is great with babies. I am still amazed at how Julie was able to get my newborn daughters to comply for 2 hours through the various poses.  Finally, Julie's studio is fully stocked with all types of props and embellishments. Every time she post a beautiful newborn photo shoot makes my heart skip a beat and renews my desire for a baby(I'm done!!) her pictures are pure art work she's done all of our family photos and every special event. She is amazing to work with our son has autism she so patient with him she always gets a smile out of him. Her mini sessions are great price for beautiful photos that you get digital great for Facebook emailing texting printing out or canvas, so much better than the department stores where you would pay three times as much and not get digital only single pose prints. I found Juls Megill photography on an online Facebook group a few years back. At first, I was very hesitant for the simple fact of my family and I not really wanting to spend too much money on photos. You definitely get what you pay for. Julie truly is a great photographer. She captures the moment and she's very to the point. She works fast! She's great with kids. She's very friendly and outgoing which makes it that much easier. We recently had our family photos done by Julie for the first time and caught a glimpse of the sneak peak and couldn't believe how wonderful they came out. I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. My children love her. Her work is beautiful and very inspiring. I've had to cancel on her a few times in the past due to personal reasons and she was actually understandable and rescheduled me for another time. She books very fast from what I have noticed. at the westie rescue orange county holiday picnic last weekend. approx 11:30 am. me: *struggling to get barrington (my westie) to sit still for the photo as his ADD kicked in and too many distractions around him* julie: *snapped a couple of picture* done. wait what?! what do you mean you're done? i left pretty upset because barrington wouldn't sit still for one god dang picture and i wasn't sure if he turned out ok. wrong. i just went on julie's smugmug and the picture turned out fantastic!! it was the perfect frontal shot of barrington with a smile on his face and his pose is how i would normally photograph him as well! i even checked out other people's westie photos and they turned out amazing! i didn't see one bad photo at all. i've came to the conclusion that photographing any four-legged friends are hard. it's so difficult to get a good shot but not for julie!! definitely considering a christmas photo shoot for barrington! read more

I love this place and Julie. She is awesome. My friend is the one who recommended me since she gets her daughters pics here year after year. So finally I came and did their Halloween, Xmas and Valentines pics here. She has such a nice set up and she makes sure she gets good shots of the kids. It's really fast too you don't have the long photoshoot and the kids start getting irritated. No she does all the work to make the kids laugh. She is so talented at what she does. I'm looking forward to her next photo shoot special! You can't beat the price either! 20$ per kid for her specials. They do vary but on all the pics I took for my kids it was 20$ per child. I was also at Westie Rescue and Julie generously donated her time to take the holiday photos. I've had my pooches for 12 years and without a doubt these were the BEST shots ever taken. She squeezed a squeaky toy, they looked at her, stuck their tongues out in unison and three great photos were taken!!
