Had I been informed, I would have planned differently. When we arrived, my daughter was told she could not participate because she was too old. She was understandably disappointed and confused about why she was being excluded. We accepted the rule and decided we would sit together and do crafts while the younger children played. Surprisingly, we were then told she could not even enter the space with us. What I find most frustrating is the lack of practical consideration. The younger children were sold tickets and are not allowed to be left unattended, yet my older child was not permitted to remain with us. The policies seemed to contradict one another and left us in an impossible situation. I completely understand having age based rules and designated toddler play times. My issue is not the policy itself. My issue is that it was never communicated when I specifically called ahead to ask, and there was no effort made to find a reasonable solution once we arrived. The result was a very disappointed child and a family celebration that quickly turned stressful. On principle, I found the experience unsupportive and unnecessarily rigid. I left feeling disappointed by the customer service and the lack of empathy shown in handling what could have been a simple situation.

No matter how hard you try to Google map this location, the exact location won't show. The Google map will just show you that it is somewhere in the mall. Keep in mind that Del Amo Mall is a huge mall. We learned the hardware by parking 1/4 mile away. The way we found out is we had to look at a touch map inside the mall. It was quite confusing because the legend is not stationary, it rotates 180 degrees from your location. Always remember it is by Dicks Sporting Goods, nothing else. This place is hidden on the 2nd floor. It looks like a store. Deceiving looks from the outside. Arrived at this location which we were greeted for checkin under the birthday boys name. You must take off your shoes to enter, so make sure you have clean socks on. The other way is to wear some plastic booties, but it is frowned upon. That option is usually used as a last resort, like not wearing socks. The party was private, you can only have 1 party at a time. You self cater your food and drinks to the gathering. You can even bring a cooler with alcoholic beverages! Which is a plus for grown adults. Social and gathering with adult beverages males the conversation sweeter. This place is not like a chuckie cheese, it is more intimate with a core family since it is private. Its small so it may seem tight to move around. Place accommodates a jungle playground with plastic balls. Enough for the little ones to be entertained. There is one host that works there to assist with the games, food and photography (someones cellphone). That worker is very helpful. The other host works at the front counter for admission. Also you can even hire a character to visit and play games. Surprise appearance by Sonic! Woot woot! Overall, it is small and private. Good enough for 50 people. I will throw a small gathering here on a rainy day, cold or Superhot day only. There is nothing a public park cant provide that zoomi offers. Especially on a warm comfortable day. :) Lots of parking at the mall. Friendly helpful workers (only 2 of them). The 2 negative things is that stood out is removal of shoes and 1 restroom to use. Kelsie and her crew (Sophia, Rebecca & Mattie) did a phenomenal job for my granddaughter's 1st birthday party. Kelsie herself was a complete blessing!!! When you read, with the VIP package all you need to do is show up with your child, that's literally all you have to do! The food and beverages were excellent choices. Someone had clearly thought about the experience. A beautiful indoor space, imaginative little environments, places for parents to sit, decent coffee and food and enough visual restraint that you didn't feel like you'd voluntarily locked yourself inside a plastic primary colored migraine for two hours. With small children, this is no minor achievement. There still aren't many places like it in the South Bay. Which is probably why we keep coming back. Unfortunately, Looma today feels less like a premium children's space and more like the aging remains of one. You begin noticing the little things because there are so many of them. The projector by the ball pit stopped working ages ago. Other play features are broken or simply gone. Toys and foam blocks migrate around the building and apparently establish permanent residency wherever they land. Some surfaces are sticky. Vents and edges look like they haven't met a cleaning cloth in quite some time. Rooms sit unused and closed off. On our latest visit, even the bathroom was rough. None of these things individually ruins a children's playground. Kids are extraordinarily talented at destroying civilization. I have two. I understand. But maintenance is the business. If you sell a premium environment for children, the product isn't the slide you installed three years ago. The product is the slide today. The clean bathroom today. The working toy today. The stocked refrigerator today. The employee who appears mildly pleased that you've entered the building today. That last part has always been Looma's strangest weakness. Service ranges from indifferent to occasionally miserable. There have been exceptions the woman I've repeatedly encountered handling the cafe has always been genuinely sweet and helpful. But overall there's very little hospitality in a business ostensibly built around families spending time there. And when the place is crowded, all of these little failures compound. Our latest visit felt badly oversold. Not enough seating, exhausted parents orbiting tables waiting for somewhere to land, children everywhere, broken or neglected equipment and a staff seemingly resigned to surviving the shift. Then you remember what you're paying. Once admission for two children, food and drinks enter the equation, this stops being some scrappy neighborhood playroom where you forgive the duct tape and missing Lego pieces. Looma calls itself an upscale indoor playground. Fair enough. But "upscale" creates an obligation. It means someone has to care obsessively about the boring things after the beautiful launch photos have been taken. That's what frustrates me most. The bones are still good. The original idea was good. Even the food is surprisingly decent for an indoor playground, with some Korean options mixed into the usual kid fare. My children can still have a great time here. But children having fun is an extraordinarily forgiving metric. Give them a cardboard box and seventeen minutes and they'll establish a functioning municipality. Adults notice the rest. Looma doesn't need another attraction or themed event. It needs somebody to walk through the building slowly, look at every surface, every broken feature, every empty refrigerator shelf, every neglected corner and start caring about the details again

One of the many things I appreciate is that while there are several swings I noticed on days when it is more crowded one or 2 are removed as to avoid kiddos swinging into other kids . However, how the gym is set up makes that less likely if a child walks the perimeter. While not because of the swing but this cute horse ramp thingy My owned kid mowed down a parent who was in her line of fire and it was both HILARIOUS (Me and the mom cracked up about it) I apologized to the mom and moved the toys back to where Ms. Tiffany originally had it -which would have avoided the accident in the first place (So my bad :-) ) I have so many things to say about how much I Enjoy We Rock The Spectrum! Despite the edit, they are still making up lies about my child. They've also changed the language of the original comment. For example, from "my son" to "the owners son" I guess in an attempt to make it seem like someone else wrote it. It's weird if you ask me. Nobody is attacking you. If you deem every negative review as an attack against you then you should hire someone else to manage your social media. It's a bad look. I won't comment any further. Changing your comment towards me and editing it after I've responded to it is another sign of distrust. Hire an attorney and proceed with legal action if you think I'm lying. I will happily repeat everything I've said under oath and I have a witness. Update: the owner responded and essentially accused me of lying by saying my child did not get hurt there (she did although it was an accident). If that doesn't show you the level of professionalism at this place then I don't know what to tell you. To address her claims, my daughter was not upset on arriving. She became frustrated in the waiting room while we were waiting to fill out the form. Once she got into the gym she was jumping and shouting for joy. Nice job leaving that out, really helps build trust. The kid on the zip line had to be very close to middle school age. There was another kid close to middle school age as she mentioned who was likely her son. Neither one of those is the kid who stepped over and fell on my daughter. That kid was in elementary school and likely 6 years old or so. The parent even apologized when it happened. I'm guessing your cameras didn't catch that or you are being deceitful, either way it's concerning. Why else would we come in and leave after 7 minutes? I'll stand by my statement that having kids close to middle school age riding on a zip line in an area where autistic toddlers are walking around isn't exactly what I consider safe. There should at least be some padding or something blocking the path. Everything I wrote in the review is true. Instead of calling customers liars, go back and check your cameras in the play area again. My original review: If you have a toddler with autism, I would highly recommend against this place. I am really surprised that it has such a high score. Usually reviews are reliable. We took my 3 year old daughter who has slight autism here so she could check out a new place. They have you sign a liability waiver and I see why. The first thing I noticed is there are a lot of people packed into a tight area. The "gym" is about the size of our living room, maybe slightly bigger. There was a decent number of people in here for a small area. There are kids that are very young, and kids that look like they are close to entering middle school mixed together. They have a zip line, which is nice for older kids, but incredibly dangerous for kids that are toddler age. I would imagine most toddlers with autism cannot participate on the zip line, but easily could stumble into the path of it when an older kid takes off on it creating an incredibly dangerous situation. We had to keep moving our daughter away from the path that it travels as an older kid was riding it non-stop. They have a rock climbing wall, but I imagine it would be pretty hard to climb safely without shoes on (kids and adults have to remove shoes) as the parts that you step on to climb up are incredibly small compared to a normal rock climbing wall. They are about 1/4 of the size of the ones at Anderson Park, just for comparison. I just can't see how that would be comfortable for the child in the slightest. We were there for a whopping 4-5 minutes before an older kid bowled over my daughter and caused her to get hurt. She was sitting on the slide area and the kid just stepped on her and fell on her. Again, it seems like an incredibly bad idea to mix older kids with autism and toddlers with autism. $16 seemed like a fair price and the positive reviews had me excited to take her there. We left after only 4-5 minutes, $16 down the drain. I let the front desk person know this isn't a safe place for toddlers on the way out the door. They should have scheduled times for certain age ranges instead of mixing them all together. I can't think of any other establishment whether it be a daycare, school, therapy, etc where they mix kids of all age ranges together in small area with equipment that could cause possible injury.

We had 24 or so kids playing together, and had plenty of space inside the Ultimate Arena for their parents/families as well. The celebration room was also spacious even with all those people in there. Justin and a young woman (long dark hair and glasses) whose name escapes me right now (sorry!) ensured that we had what we needed during play time, the room was decorated and set-up ready, and the pacing of with food food (pizza, fries, chicken strips) went smoothly. We then sang "Happy Birthday" and Justin handled cake slicing, and then clean-up. They were really great about giving a play-by-play and checked in before moving onto the next thing. My son said he had the best time, and we had many parents also say their children felt the same way. It was great that they were able to blow up a few balloons that we brought (for an added fee) that were specific to the theme. We only bought pizzas from Scooters Jungle and brought other food ourselves, but everyone enjoyed the pizza. They did a great job serving the dessert and helping us pack up our things at the end.
