Kelsie and her crew (Sophia, Rebecca & Mattie) did a phenomenal job for my granddaughter's 1st birthday party. Kelsie herself was a complete blessing!!! The good: I came for open play for $19 per kid and loved it. It's small but not crowded and the ball pit and slides were a hit with my almost 2 year old. The ceiling is vaulted so the space feels bigger. They had a fun disco ball inside. They played music but it wasn't too loud which was great for us overstimulated moms. My toddler also loved the bounce house with the basketball hoop. There are bench areas to sit and watch the kids and a clean bathroom. Food isn't allowed inside but their lobby area has communal benches where you can eat food and you can also eat outside. Their lobby area also had lots of coloring books, coloring pencils and paper. They had books as well. They sell snacks inside. This space is mostly used as a venue rental for parties. The bad: The worker upfront seemed a bit peeved about something and wasn't particularly cheerful when I came in. The interesting: There's a bakery across from here so you can take a lunch break there and re-enter the playspace. They allow re-entry! read more

Celebrated my son's 6th birthday at South Play. The 60+ guests had a blast! The set up and personalized touches were perfect. We also rented the courtyard and had plenty of indoor/outdoor space for the kids and parents to mingle. Kelsie and team were amazing! Throughout the party they would continuously check in and provide an updates. As a busy working mom we literally did everything via phone, text or email. They answered every question I had or needed. We did the VIP party package and they took care of everything. Literally we just walked in and brought a cake for my son (optional because they coordinate personalized cupcakes for the kids!) I've hosted at least 3 parties here(dating back to when it was the Coop). South Play is such an amazing place to host a birthday party. The staff are always friendly and so helpful. It's clean, safe and lots of fun for kids of all ages. I have a 2, 8 and 12 year old and they all had a blast. I 10000% recommend South Play to any parent that is looking for an easy, stress free birthday party venue. Kelsie even went out of her way to try to make my daughter's party extra special (I told her that I was very low maintenance on decorating but she still offered a gorgeous sequin table cloth and the use of their adorable cake stand). What a wonderful experience we had with South Play! We wanted to host our son's 1st birthday party somewhere both kids and adults could enjoy, and South Play was the perfect spot. Their indoor play area kept the kids occupied for hours, and their ability to rent out the patio for all of the tables/chairs/food for adults was wonderfully accommodating. We selected the VIP package and we truly felt VIP! Lili and her team took care of everything - setting up the entry room beautifully on theme, ordering food for all adults and children, having cupcakes ready for the kids, among others! The staff was extremely helpful, taking care of putting away/storing all gifts, getting cake cutting ready, and cleaning up quickly at the end of the event. South Play's list of vendors was perfect - everyone we chose from there was professional, accessible, and worked seamlessly with Lili and the team. We decided to throw our daughter an 8th birthday party. We found this location online and thought it would be perfect. We booked our spot for 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Upon arrival the space was lovely. The first 2 girls that were there to help did a great job. They were very polite and helpful. You can tell the place was well put together and very clean. Everything was going great. The children were playing the adults we're enjoying themselves. The first hour and a half. Here is where things kind of took a turn...but I wouldn't say it was a totally bad turn, I would just suggest that for the price you pay for two hours, some changes should be made. Again I know I am on a time limit but... Once our time hit 2:30, everything felt too rushed. At 2:30 it was time to sing HBD. Which we did right away. After we sang happy birthday. We were trying to get a few pictures with the cake (again I know I'm on the time limit but just keep reading) but unfortunately one of the girls who came in mid shift asked to take the cake, I said yes because they appeared to be in a rush for us to get this process done. But one of my partygoers went and got the top of the cake back so that we can finish taking a few pictures because she felt it was rude. As we are taking pictures which took less than 5 minutes because we had the top of the cake back in our possession, another one of my party goers comes up to me and says "Hey why are they cutting the cake pieces so big did you tell them to do that?" I look around and everyone has these huge pieces of cake!! Before I could even get to whoever was cutting the cake... our party favor boxes are being passed out. Mind you I had them for boys and girls and no one asked me anything, so the boys are getting the girls party favors and vice versa. So I had to stop one of the girls from getting the party favor boxes mixed up because no one asked me anything about the favors, they just began to pass them out. As we are eating the cake, and different children are asking me where their favor box is, another party goer comes up to me and they tap me and let me know that my stuff is now being moved outside at this time it was about what 2:45... I look out the window and our food is out there... with everyone inside... at this point all of out party goes are making comments that they clearly want us out and it's not 3pm yet. Our party goes feel the sense of unsaid "it's time for you all to go" because as people are trying to eat cake the helpers are cleaning up around them and removing everything. All our stuff and guest were 6 minutes before 3. AGAIN, I understand the time limit, but I do believe for the price people are paying for two hours, we should get the full two hours. Cleaning up is very easy with just three tables and a floor considering one girl is already cleaning up the play area 30 minutes before each party ends. And also the person who booked the party and their family helps clean up. I'm not upset about how things went. My child had a beautiful time and the place was lovely. Unfortunately, the few people who were asking questions about prices and saying they would like to throw a party there because they were genuinely interested in booking, are no longer interested and in shock at how it ended. This review is to say it really is a nice place and maybe offer advice like more time for clean up so people can get a full two hours, idk. But again, it is a beautiful and clean place. read more

Compared to surrounding competitors, this place, for the most part, is very clean. Staff is nice. She even gave a lunch recommendation nearby after we finished playing. This is geared towards younger kids, and mine are a bit older. They still had fun though. I would say probably babies though kids aged 7 or 8 would be ideal (my eldest is 10). Ball pit & play structure were super fun. Bounce house is a high end heavy duty bounce house. Doll house is adorable. Kids loved the bouncy horses & little cars in which they could scoot around. Our main turn off was the dodgeball game which we could not easily figure out how to play. Also the light up "dance floor like" surface on which we were to play was filthy and in desperate need of being wiped down/sanitized. I told my children to remove themselves from it immediately once we determined how dirty it was. Apart from that one issue, this place is fine. A fun place to spend an hour or two playing. read more

It's so fun with a huge ball pit and bounce house With soooo many other toys! We can spend hours here and she doesnt get bored. I love coming here with friends for play dates. Our son had his 3rd Birthday party here on September 1st. From beginning to end the process was seamless and fun. Kelsie was amazing, she walked me through the process and gave me a tour of the space. Kelsie was so warm and it felt like we had been friends for years. The fact that Kelsie was just as excited as we were was the icing on the cake. We had ambitious plans and Kelsie made them sound like a walk in the park. Kelsie helped with all of the planning and paperwork for our vendors. Kelsie responded quickly to us and all parties involved. When we arrived the day of the party, Kelsie greeted us with a warm welcome and helped us navigate the set-up. Although Kelsie couldn't stay for the party, she handed off the supervision and continued to help and answer questions. My son and all of our guests had the best time. The indoor setup was fantastic, clean, and easily accessible. The party area was so nice and inviting. The staff rushed to set-up and kept telling me and my husband to let them handle everything so that we could enjoy our guests. They were amazing with the kids and was very attentive. They asked us what we wanted and executed flawlessly. All of our guests promised to come back and or host their next birthday for their little ones at South Play. They missed the opportunity to make a good impression. I had my daughter's 3rd birthday party here and I had been to a party here before so I knew what to expect walking in. However, decorations were missing and I was told that they lost them so couldn't put them up. They were a bit cheap on the pizza for the kids (1 slice a kid of a smaller than medium pizza). 1 juice box per kid! My friend asked for another juice box and they said sorry we ran out. I asked for my daughter, the bday girl, and they pulled one out for her out the back. At the end of the party, 2 kids (mine) were left with no goodie bags and they charged $88 for them. In most places, the bday person is part of the party package, but not here, they count as a guest! For the first month after my daughter's bday, I kept getting copied in email for other clients party packages, names, addresses, total due. I wouldn't want my info sent to others. If you need proof, I still have the emails! Although the place was more fitting for a 3-year old party, I prefer Scooters Jungle. 2 stars for table set up and the minimal assistance of food to and from my car. read more

I haven't been here for a party or anything, but just for the play area. It's probably one of my favorite indoor play areas for my little. She loves the ball pit and the bounce house! She loves slides, but was a little scared the last time. I do like that the equipment allows for adults too. The toys are great, and there's a great variety and number of car toys, balls, etc. I like that there's a seated table area right outside the play room for your LO to have a snack. The staff came by every 15-30 minutes to put things back in place, because if you are around kids, you know, 15 minutes and a tornado could have hit the place. read more
