A few friends and I stopped by here yesterday (a Saturday) and we enjoyed it! We came in during the live music and I thought the performance was great. I loved the vibes here! The view of Mt Yonah was stunning, the setup of the place was cool, and the ambiance of their inside/outside area was nice. My two complaints are that it got pretty cold in their glass windowed area- they had a small heater but it wasn't doing much, and they don't give free cups of water here. I'd recommend adding larger heaters and getting a couple of them, considering how cold it can get in North GA in the winter. I'd also recommend giving free water instead of requiring that people buy bottled water. If you were in the Atlanta area, not offering free water would be a code violation. Not sure if that applies here but just to be courteous to your customers you should be doing that. Back to the positives... I ordered a coffee based frappe with the "glamping" flavor (white chocolate and marshmallow) and I thought it was amazing. 10/10. I would definitely order it again. My order came out in a decent amount of time and the employees were friendly. The prices were reasonable and we found parking easily. I would happily come here again! I think there could be a couple improvements (the water issue is why I deducted a star) but if they address those few things then I'd think the place is a 5/5 :) I would come back! Stopped by here after my trip to Helen, and after seeing sooooo many social media posts about this place. Coming in, the driveway kind of sketched me out because it's kind of "hidden". I got a matcha latte and an apple pie chai (seasonal). Both were good, but wish the matcha was sweeter like other places. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but highly recommend sitting outside since there's a view of cows and mountains. Prices are fair, and they also have wine tastings here. Definitely recommend stopping by! Also, note that you have to park on gravel. read more

Great coffee and views! We stopped by after a hike nearby and were not disappointed. It was a holiday weekend and it was packed with a line out the door but it was worth it. I had a seasonal drink called Pumpkin S'mores (i asked for less pumps so, not as is) It as delicious and the coffee still shone through. This is a great spot! They have some wine here, a lot of coffee, and some tea drinks. There's a few food options, but not a lot. This place is pretty popular right now so if you go on the weekend, don't be surprised that they run out of things. I wanted to try their açaí bowl and matcha and unfortunately, they were out of both! I went with their apple pie chai tea and wow...that was so good. It's very sweet, but honestly, that would be perfect for the fall. The staff is pretty fast here. I'd say they're faster than Starbucks. There's also a dog park here!! So bring your fur baby too! This was my first stop when I came into town this week. It did not disappoint! I ordered a 16oz. Glamping Latte (white chocolate + marshmallow). I loved it so much I left with 4 boxes of K-cups to take home. They had an amazing assortment of regular and decaf options in fun flavors. The vibe is also great. The staff was friendly. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating has both covered and not covered options. It is also a super dog friendly spot too in all outdoor areas - they even have a fenced in dog park! We found this place while in route to go hiking. The views just from the parking lot were beautiful! They had live music going on. There was also plenty of seating outside and inside. Staff were friendly and very quick. When you walk in they have a section for coffee and a section for wines. I had the Coco Loco which contained coconut and for me it was perfect. I don't think I can truly describe how the views make this place so perfect. I definitely recommend stopping by at least once. read more

Absolutely loved this coffee shop!!! Could not recommend it more. My husband and I popped over here before our hikes for the day to get some coffee. We were blown away by the views and amount of seating available at this coffee shop. There are beautiful views of the mountain outside, and they have an enclosed area for the colder months so you can still enjoy the scenery. They also have an enclosed dog park outside the shop with picnic tables to sit at and water bowls for the dogs. The owner came out to give our dog a treat and some love, and gave us some suggestions on what to do in the area! We got two hot specialty lattes for a very reasonable price, and they were delicious! This place is a must visit! Unbelievable views of rolling hills and horses and cattle. Mountain backdrop, lush greenery. I can't recommend this place enough. They even have a MEAD tasting inside where you can buy local honey mead, with several different options. The coffee was also great! read more

It occurred to me after all these years...I haven't reviewed my favorite, happy place in the entire world. You see, I've been coming to Jumping Goat since they had a small patio with a patio sail. I started out buying delicious Colombian beans (from the original location outside of Helen). We visited while camping. It was so hot on that summer morning drinking coffee overlooking Yonah-I said "it sure would be nice if they had more shade". Fast forward to their beautiful glass patio building, all the outdoor seating & gazebos all overlooking the valley and mountain. This is my peaceful place. I love to come here and drink coffee with special friends and enjoy the beautiful view. Bringing new folks here makes my heart warm. Their coffee has always been consistent and delicious. Yesterday's ladies's day turned us onto their new specialty "Jamaican Island" roast. Absolutely amazing and delicious. The try me sample at the front door.... turned into a box of K cups for me to take home. This cafe started with very local folks coming to visit and now it seems like a destination cafe for many Georgia visitors and folks visiting North Georgia. Did I mention they actually added the goats to the repertoire? Very rare: dog friendly with a small dog park for the fur friends. So proud to be a supporter from the beginning days! This is a must visit if you're coming to North Georgia. Note to self: GPS likes to send you to Helen to their original location, so I always double check. Either way -you won't be disappointed in the coffee! PS we normally pick up something amazing "cherry turnovers" from the "Bake Shop" to enjoy with our amazing cup of coffee. read more

JumpinGoat makes a solid latte and the baristas are friendly and efficient, however the setting is what steals the show. The shop overlooks some cattle pasture and towards the nearby mountains, and is as good or better a location as some of the wineries in the area. It has a an inside area, a covered patio, and some outdoor seating so there are a variety of locations to choose from. There's also a good sized dog run on the premises which is an added bonus for dog lovers. read more

Lots of outdoor seating options as well as a more covered half indoor patio. Often has music on weekends. Dogs allowed. We were on vacation in the area and found this little gem. You see the sign right off the street go into a gravel driveway. Then you're in a parking lot. The coffee shop looks like a house but you order coffee there and there is seating inside. They sell a lot of cure things inside the shop. They had a lot of unique options. I also noticed they also sell wine as well. We ordered two coffees . There's three sitting options inside the coffee shop, second in a huge sun room, or third outside. We sat outside in a gazebo overlooking green hills. My coffee was amazing and it was so relaxing. I highly recommend this place. Even if you have kids they can run around. I was told over the phone that my dog would be allowed here and they made it sound like it was a super dog friendly place and yet when I brought him here he was not allowed in the air conditioning and could only stay outside in the hot sun which prevented me from being able to get inside and order any coffee or snacks because I needed to stay with my dog. I wish it was specified over the phone that dogs could be outside but not inside the building where you order your coffee. read more
