I've stopped here the past two years before hitting the road after an Oktoberfest trip to Helen! Each time, I've gotten the same drink: iced crackerjack latte with almond milk! This time, I did the 16oz with just one shot of each of the syrups (caramel and hazelnut) since it generally comes with 1.5 pumps a piece and I didn't want it to be too sweet. It was super yummy! Service was great and ambiance was "rustic casual cafe" vibes. We enjoyed our stop here and look forward to continuing to make it an annual pitstop!

I loved this coffee spot in Helen, Georgia! We needed a midday caffeine boost and decided to try the Yonah--a white chocolate raspberry coffee--and it was so good. I definitely recommend stopping by. The service is laid-back, and the atmosphere is cozy with a nice view of the town while you sip your drink.

Hot cocoa tastes and smelled so yum. You can add different syrups. They sell coffee and or goods too. We got toasted marshmallow hot cocoa and original hot cocoa.

Coffee Shop No. 477 Yonah Coffee Company Helen, GA March 11, 2024 Yonah Coffee Company sits on the corner of Main Street in the town of Helen, GA. The architecture of the building reminds me of a chalet you might find in an alpine village. The shop was empty when I walked in so I was able to admire the live edge bar top; which was in a perfect spot to people watch. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

Yonah Coffee is one of the only places you can grab a cup early in the morning. The service was good and the coffee was as well, just nothing special. The breakfast sandwiches looked good.

Ordered a latte after waiting in a 6 person line for more than 10 minutes. Really. Slowest service in a fast turnover coffee shop that I have encountered in recent memory. Latte was fine, just a latte. Reasonable price for a touristy town.

We stopped at this great little coffee shop while we were visiting Helen, Ga for July 4th weekend. They serve real espresso and it was very good. My husband got a proper macchiato and I got a cappuccino with soy milk. Despite the crowd we got our drinks quickly and enjoyed them while sitting at the counter and people watching through the windows! It was a nice break to our walking around all day. A great place! Go check it out! And leave a huge tip. :) -Zoë

Loved this cute little coffee shop! The drinks were delightful & fun! Staff was super nice & made the drinks quickly. Was also grateful this shop was open at 8:45 a.m., because I was surprised to see other local shops weren't.

Ambiance was great! Lack of flavor in my drink. Service could be better. Not the most friendly; maybe because it was close to closing.

So happy that I did! When I walked in, the staff were super friendly and all smiles. The cashier/barista was such a sweetheart! They have a cheese market, deli, bakery bar, and coffee shop all in one! They sell all kinds of charcuterie items, from salami, cheese, jam, jellies, to coffee, candy, wine, and chocolates. They also sell cutting boards and other little trinkets. I absolutely loved that they sell "charcuterie for one" that has cheese, meats, and olives for a single serving on the go too! We saw that they had a lunch box special for sandwiches that includes a sandwich, cookie, pickle spear, and bag of chips for $12. What a steal!!! We decided to get the Jammin' Pig sandwich which is a panini pressed sandwich with ham, brie cheese, and cherry jalapeño jam. The lunch box was a great size and included Lay's regular potato chips and a chocolate chip cookie! They also sell other cookies and baked goodies (brownies, cakes, etc.) at the bakery bar area. The sandwich was probably the best sandwich I ever had in my life. Holy cow! The sandwich was pressed and grilled perfectly with nice grill marks and the meat and cheese was fresh! The brie and the cherry jalapeño jam melted together so nicely and added a creamy and flavorful element to the sandwich. The ham provided the saltiness that helped cut a little bit of the sweetness from the jam. The jam wasn't spicy at all. It was a beautifully balanced sandwich. My husband thought I was exaggerating (because I'm not picky with anything haha), but as soon as he took a bite, his expression was speechless. He loved the sandwich so much, that we decided to come back the very next day and ordered the same sandwich and tried another one. If you want to take another step, take a bite of the sandwich and then a bite of the pickle for that hint of acidity. It causes a umami effect with all the flavors dancing on your palette! For the lunch box special, you either get a chocolate chip cookie or the white chocolate cranberry one (I believe they alternate cookie flavors based on their inventory), but both cookies were delicious. The texture is not like other cookies as it's more like an oatmeal texture kind of deal. A little bit crumbly, but nonetheless, both flavors were very good and tasty. My husband ordered the Kickin' Horse sandwich the day after and he actually liked it better than the Jammin' Pig. His sandwich consisted of ciabatta bread, roast beef, muenster cheese, horseradish sauce, and onion, panini pressed style. I had a bite of his sandwich and all the flavors worked so well. The horseradish sauce brings out the roast beef flavor and enhances the muenster cheese. We tried some iced latte specials as well. We had the "Hippie Chick" that is a lavender honey flavored latte and the "Sweater Weather" which is a cinnamon and caramel? flavored latte. We absolutely loved the Hippie Chick latte and ordered another one when we came back, but the "Sweater Weather" wasn't our favorite. Respectfully, it tasted like a fall candle. It was good, but not the best we've had. Overall, we will definitely come back when we're in the area. The price was worth it for the amount of food that you get! Trust me when I say to get the sandwiches! You will not be disappointed!!! Now I'm craving their Jammin' Pig sandwich....

If you've spent more than five minutes eating your way through Alpine Helen GA, you already know…read morethe truth: finding genuinely good, made-from-scratch food here feels like a competitive sport--and most places are losing. Campfire Restaurant isn't just winning... it's playing a completely different game. I've been here since day one, watching owner Matt and his crew build this place with intention and pride. This isn't a "let's open and see what happens" spot--this is passion, detail, and respect for doing food right. In a town where "authentic" can mean reheated and overpriced, Campfire stands out like a perfectly cooked ribeye in a sea of mediocrity. The vibe hits immediately--rustic North Georgia lodge meets modern comfort. Wood, textures, that Smoky Mountains ambiance. Indoor dining is cozy, outdoor dining under Edison lights is where the magic lives. It's date night, family dinner, or "I survived today" energy all in one place. Locals recommend this place for a reason--and locals don't hype things lightly. Now the food. Everything is made in-house--real Southern food, comfort food, and American food with flavor and consistency. The Southwest Gunpowder Nachos? Legendary. Handmade chips, massive portions--get steak and extra corn. It's two meals unless you're me. Best value in Helen. The smash burger is easily one of the best in Georgia--juicy, consistent, unforgettable. Fried chicken is solid, but locals will tell you: get the chicken tenders. Ribeye is tender, juicy, and always recommended. Mac and cheese? Creamy, different--but I'll admit I'm biased because mine is elite. Still worth trying. And the s'mores dessert--if you don't have room, make room. It's rich, indulgent, and perfect for date night or birthdays. Service has that "Cheers" feel--friendly, consistent, no judgment if you roll in looking like life just happened. They remember you, take care of you, and that matters. Parking is easy in the Alpine village shopping center. Seating is quick if you're smart about timing (don't be silly). Live music adds to the vibe without overpowering it. Prices are reasonable (rare for Helen), portions are big, and quality stays consistent--that trifecta is everything. This is a bucket list, must visit, locals favorite, top rated spot in Alpine Helen GA. Whether it's Oktoberfest, a Smoky Mountains trip, or just a Friday night--this is where you go when you want food that actually delivers. And honestly? In this town... that says everything. #facts REASONS TO VISIT: 1. Must visit, bucket list restaurant in Alpine Helen GA 2. Locals favorite, top rated, best in North Georgia 3. When a server set the steak on the table shortly after, I asked for 57 sauce, as I'm a sauce guy. When the server brought it back he told me to try a bite without sauce as their steaks are well seasoned. Boy was he right! The gunpowder seasoning along with the clarified butter really enhanced the flavor of the ribeye. My wife gave me a bite of her chicken Alfredo and it was well seasoned too. Nice balance of garlic. The sides are the reason for a the 4 star review, though if judged by the steak alone, it would easily be a 5 star review. I ordered the loaded mashed potatoes, and they were topped with cheese and bacon. The potatoes needed seasoning. Mostly salt, pepper, and butter. The same could be said of the Mac and cheese. Our server was amazing. He had a great personality, and made sure we had a good meal The restaurant was clean.

There are also no fountain drinks--everything is bottled and purchased separately. Service was great.
