I don't think they have any alcohol sold here, I didn't see any (I was looking for a beer to have with dinner) so bear that in mind if you're looking for that. Despite that disappointment, there are still reasons to recommend shopping there. If one is in a hurry to get in and out, Village Market isn't the rat race that City Market is. The store is exceptionally clean and free of obstacles in the aisles and open areas, unlike the clutter in that other store. The prices may be slightly higher, but the shopping experience can be much less anxiety-provoking than one would experience at the Kroger "family" store.
