I think this is one of the original rides. It's popular so it can get busy. It's a boat tour but you won't necessarily get wet. There's a boat driver/tour guide and he talks you thru the tour. It's a funny speel and if you have young kids with you it's good for them. You see any animals that you would think you see in a jungle along the ride. Elephants, tigers, lions, alligators etc. it's a fun and classic ride

I honestly can't say that it's a timeless ride. It's purely meant for laughs, and amusement. It's an easy boat ride as you journey through a jungle river to view animatronic jungle creatures in their fantasy habitat. You do hear and see some actual birds every now and then. It's fun when you have a seasoned skipper that delivers lines with great comedic timing. With that said, Skipper Matt was so awesome! This was probably the best Jungle Cruise ride I've had in my lifetime. Yes, I know it's scripted. But, it's all in the delivery. He just happened to pull it off perfectly. I'm not sure that I saw any changes to this ride. The line is still long, but it's shaded. Just check the app when the wait time is low. The water has always been a murky green. They still fill the boat up to capacity. The last person on the boat gets the honor of sitting on the step where every other foot has trampled on. Fortunately, I found a nice space to sit across from that step that was in the middle of the boat. Yay! All in all, it's a relaxing ride in a shaded boat. You get to see the backside of water, which actually looks the same as the frontside. There's a cool mist from the waterfall. It takes about 10 minutes to ride, and maybe 5 minutes to disembark depending on how many riverboats are in front of you. This is when your skipper shines even more. The cast member has to come up with more scripted jokes to pass the time away. They interact with you as well. It's always a fun ride.

Jungle Cruise ride is located in Magic Kingdom's Adventureland. Disneyland in California also has the exact same ride! My family and I visited Disney World Magic Kingdom over Memorial day weekend. On a Monday, we waited until the evening to ride Jungle Cruise. There was no wait in the queue and we were able to walk onto the ride! This ride is approximately 10 minutes and you sail the river on your riverboat. The skipper takes the helm and will provide entertainment throughout your journey! This ride is a slow, water ride. It's a family fun ride with no height restrictions! You'll see a variety of animatronics during the entire ride. The skipper provides some great fun! Jungle Cruise will change theme during the holiday season which is awesome! This ride is one of the most popular rides in Magic Kingdom Disney World. It's so popular that Disney made a movie based on it! I'd highly recommend visiting this ride once during your stay at Disney World!

Exactly as advertised...and then some! This is a ~10 minute casual lazy river-style cruise through a jungle on a riverboat. You get to see many sights and you get to hear many MANY cringe-tastic puns from your riverboat captain! This ride is peak camp, a must-ride for all Disney visitors, and is so great it inspired an entire movie off of this ride! What more could you ask for?? I was convinced after riding this ride that many a stand-up comedian got their start working at the Jungle Cruise. Upon further research, there were definitely a handful that worked at the Jungle Cruise that you might recognize nowadays! So sit back, relax, and groan whenever you hear a particularly terrible pun - the cast members live for it!

For a guy like me this is a great little ride... it is nonstop pun after dad joke after pun! Like why doesn't Cinderella play soccer? Because her coach is a pumpkin and she keeps running away from the ball! Seriously it is joke after joke. The ride is interesting... slow, a bunch if wild life scenes and really not much to do but sit and listen to the one liners. Like... why did the guy quit the donut shop? He was tired of the Hole thing! It would have been better if it wasn't just the guy droning through all the scripted lines... but I'm sure after doing it for days and over and over it is hard to keep up any real energy. What do you call a guy in a suit with a brief case up in a tree? A branch manager!! Half the time he was just going through it all at such a pace that it was hard to really understand him. How do you identify a dogwood tree? By its bark! But it was cute... and I love a good (or bad) dad joke so for me this was truly funny! For my family it was a little on the groaning side.

Not sure why this ride always has such a long line. It's alright, very dependent on if your "boat captain" is funny or not. Corny jokes while you ride through the water and see fake animals. Also the wait in line has no theming and nothing really to look at. With so many great rides in Magic Kingdom and the long wait time now for this ride I would skip.

    Janelle F.

Hands down one of the best rides in Magic Kingdom in my opinion. The cast members are energetic, funny, involve you in the fun and there is so much to see in such a short time. It's much longer than the one I'm cali and updated a bit more I feel. I loved the steam effect off the water and other small touches. So fun for kids of any age. Even me who's young at heart.

Jingle cruise is always a 5/5. The lights, the decorations, the seasonal jokes. If you are visiting Walt Disney World during the holidays. This is a must do!!!! At night!

Good Family Entertainment From what I can recall not much has changed since 1987 on my first trip here with this ride. 5 Stars for our Boat Captain had good energy and made a good amount of comedy to entertain guests. It's a peaceful ride down a stream with some artificial elephants, gorillas and other things. You head out and make a turn under a waterfall and around some corners with displays and some humorous things to see.

I walked down Main Street USA toward Cinderella Castle for the first time, and that moment genuinely caught me off guard regardless of how many times I had seen photos of it. The atmosphere throughout the park was dense with detail, and the theming was consistent from land to land in a way that kept the immersion intact as I moved through the day. TRON Lightcycle Run is a newer ride. The launch and banking through the light cycle sequence made for a great experience for those who want the thrill of a coaster but not too intense. Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean are the two classic attractions that held up best for me as an adult, and they are worth experiencing regardless of how familiar you are with them. Space Mountain remains a reliable crowd pleaser, and Big Thunder Mountain is an easy yes for any group. The fireworks show over Cinderella Castle in the evening was the natural close to the day, and positioning myself well in advance was worth the effort. The view down Main Street with the castle as the backdrop is the definitive Magic Kingdom image, and it looked even better in person at night. Wait times and cost are the two factors that required the most planning. Lightning Lane was worth the added expense to maximize the number of attractions I got through in a day.

I thought maybe that was because this ride opened around the same time as the movie in 1989. However, I was a bit surprised to learn after the fact that this ride actually opened 23 years after the movie, in late 2012. On the ride, you board clamshells that take you on an adventure under the sea. Pretty much all the characters from the movie make an appearance and the ride is filled with Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's popular songs like "Part of Your World," "Under the Sea," "Poor Unfortunate Souls," and "Kiss the Girl." The "Under the Sea" song and dance segment is bright and colorful. It reminds me of going to E.T.'s planet in the E.T. Adventure ride at Universal Studios. It's a festive party; both rides have that neon-colored, crowded "creature party" aesthetic. During our visit, the animatronic Ariel in this section was broken and inanimate. Kind of funny and creepy. During the "Kiss the Girl" segment, the plastic water coming out of the fishes' mouths didn't look great. It added to the overall sort of "knock-off" and kitschy look of the ride. Also, right before the end of the final scene with King Triton and the wedding of Ariel and Eric, the ride stopped on us. So, I was able to get a good, long look at the different animatronics and scenery. Finally, I thought the transitions between the high-quality video and the actual practical physical ride props were a bit jarring. Other rides do it better like, for example, the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros at EPCOT. We had Lightning Lane passes at around 1:47 PM on a non-holiday Monday and experienced no line and no wait.

This is an incredibly popular and all-time classic ride, not just at Disney theme parks, but in the amusement park industry. It spawned a multi-billion dollar movie franchise, after all. At Disney, Universal, etc., I love the old-school rides with animatronics and practical special effects. They have a certain charm about them. The Disney World version of this ride opened at Magic Kingdom, in Adventureland, on December 15, 1973. The original version opened at Disneyland on March 18, 1967. I rode one or both of these versions when I was a kid back in 1989-1990. I think I enjoyed the ride more as an adult. Two other versions of this ride exist in Tokyo and Paris, making four total. A variation exists in Shanghai, but is different. The setting, the story, and of course, the music (from 1967) are whimsical and a lot of fun. "Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me." In 2006, the ride was refurbished to incorporate characters from the film series that started in 2003, most notably with appearances from Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow. The ride has a distinct smell caused by bromine, which Disney uses to treat the water instead of chlorine. It's become such a signature part of the "practical effect" charm that you can actually buy candles that smell like "Pirate Water." You might get a few little splashes of water on you and there's one small dip during the ride. We had Lightning Lane passes for this ride just before noon on a non-holiday Monday. We experienced little to no wait.

At daylight hours, the tower is quite nice. However, when evening arrives with lights like the lanterns from the movie, the entire atmosphere changes and becomes much more immersive! Although this area contains themed restrooms, there is no indication that they are bathrooms! This is not your average restroom stop in Magic Kingdom though! There are details throughout the area including Pascal hiding within some of the design elements, wanted posters of Flynn Rider and many other small details to give off the idea that this is essentially a mini Tangled town. I was happy about this being a slightly less crowded area of Fantasyland as well. It is nice to be able to step back and stop for a moment to capture some photos and take a quick rest from the crowds. Unlike many of the rides surrounding this area, there isn't always a huge crowd of people here! It is definitely worth stopping by especially at night. There are so much details to Rapunzel's tower!

Many many years ago there was a sky way gondola ride that went from Tomorrowland to Fantasyland...basically from Carousel of Progress to It's a Small World. The area that is now the village & tower (AKA Bathrooms) are now located where the abandoned Fantasyland station closed and was disguised by trees for at least 15 years. Now, to save the day and turn this area that became a stroller parking lot, no seriously...it was a parking lot of strollers w/ an attendant, I kid you not. This area became very narrow and there are nowhere near enough bathrooms at WDW in general, but that's a whole other topic. Point being is that they knocked down that old building and cleared way for increased traffic flow, added toilet facilities AND add additional theming to Fantasyland expansion. Originally it's said that the tower was going not be to be forced perspective, but rather a "real life" full size tower. The execution of the overall area is really done just how you would expect it to be: perfectly themed and artistically on point. I love the wanted posters and if you look for an employee doorway at to the right of the ladies room you'll find a very serious Maximus greeting you! I love it. Why not 5 stars? Well, because it's bathrooms and planters and a cool tower. If there was a bit more use for the area, other than 1 and 2, then it would be five star with an attraction, show or character meet & greet area. I really do like this addition. Rapunzel was a big movie with my girls when they were younger and Ive a soft heart for it. Its a cool area that I look forward to seeing develop over the next few years. From the moment we entered Main Street, U.S.A., the castle became the focal point of the entire park, drawing us toward it throughout the day. While its silhouette is familiar from countless photos and Disney advertisements, seeing it in person is a different experience entirely. The scale feels larger than expected, and the intricate details across the towers, archways, and facades become more impressive the closer we got. During the day, the castle serves as both a visual centerpiece and a practical hub connecting different areas of the park. The walkway beneath the castle is worth taking rather than simply passing through, as it features detailed mosaic murals that tell the story of Cinderella with craftsmanship that is easy to overlook when crowds are moving through. We made a point to pause and take in the murals, and the level of detail was remarkable. The surrounding hub area also offers some of the best photo opportunities in Magic Kingdom, whether viewed from Main Street, the bridges leading into Fantasyland, or the gardens around the castle itself. Each angle offers a slightly different perspective, and the castle's presence anchors the entire park experience. The castle becomes even more impressive after sunset. As darkness fell, the lighting transformed the structure and created a completely different atmosphere from the daytime experience. The nighttime spectaculars are where Cinderella Castle truly shines, serving as the backdrop for projections, lighting effects, and fireworks that turn the entire structure into part of the show. Watching the fireworks from the castle hub remains one of the signature experiences at Walt Disney World and is often the emotional highlight of a day in the park. The combination of the music, the projections, and the fireworks over the castle creates a moment that feels distinctly Disney. Crowds around the castle are constant, particularly during parade times and in the hours leading up to fireworks. We found that finding a viewing location early made a significant difference, especially since nighttime entertainment was a priority. Despite its popularity, however, Cinderella Castle remains one of those attractions that consistently lives up to expectations. It functions as a symbol of Magic Kingdom, a gathering place, a photo destination, and the stage for some of the park's most memorable moments, all while retaining the sense of wonder that has made it an icon for generations of visitors.

It's the ride that proves nostalgia doesn't need G-forces. The problem? The line. Always long. Always. Doesn't matter if it's rope drop, midnight, or during a hurricane--you're looking at 60 minutes minimum. This is the only ride where the wait time is longer than Peter's attention span. You'll stand there for an hour for a ride that lasts three minutes, and you'll still walk out smiling like a fool. A little history flex: Peter Pan's Flight was one of Disneyland's original 1955 rides, imported to Disney World in 1971. Back then, Imagineers wanted you to "be" Peter Pan, which is why Peter wasn't even in the ride originally. Guests were confused, so they added him later. Translation: people waited an hour just to wonder where the main character was. The line is longer than Wendy's bedtime story. Peter Pan's Flight is short, simple, and still one of the most magical rides in Disney history. The line is brutal, the payoff is quick, but the memory sticks with you forever. Because in the end, everyone grows up--except this ride, and that's exactly why we love it.

The ride goes inside and out--you'll go through Space Mountain and also see Cinderella Castle, the Tomorrowland Speedway, and the retro-futuristic Astro Orbiter (to name a few attractions). I love the 1920s and 30s pulp science fiction and 1960s Space Age look (Googie architecture) of Tomorrowland. The PeopleMover at Magic Kingdom opened in 1975 (four years after the park opened) and includes a model of Progress City, Walt Disney's vision for EPCOT in the 1960s. The PeopleMover actually stopped on us when we were next to the diorama of Progress City, so I got to look at it for a while. I found the seats in the vehicles to be quite comfortable with good lower back support. There was no Lightning Lane for the PeopleMover. On a non-holiday Monday around 4:00 PM, the line was long. We waited about 10-15 minutes, which felt like a long time since we had been using Lightning Lanes for most of our recent trip to Disney World. This is the only Disney PeopleMover still in operation. I hope it never closes. The PeopleMover in Tomorrowland at Disneyland (California) opened in 1967 and closed in 1995.
