As much as I enjoy an air conditioned break and chance to sit, this attraction is in need of an update and refurbishment. The film itself is still good but would benefit from added scenes from more recent movies and some of the 4D effects don't always work well. I've also noticed some of the seats appear very worn. I still enjoy this attraction not just from the break from the heat and standing but it is not a must do for me every time we visit. read more

Mickey's PhilharMagic is a 4D show that is so lowkey!! I thought this would be cheesy, but I enjoyed myself more than expected. There were clouds of doom rolling in and with most of the outdoor rides being temporarily closed due to the weather, our group needed to wait it out. On a normal day, I would typically pass this one up. But, I'm so glad we got a chance to see this show! 12 minutes long, you'll be welcomed to a musical show accidentally hosted by Donald Duck and other Disney characters and songs featuring scents, effects, and water. You'll be singing along to classics such as "A Whole New World", "Part of Your World", "Be Our Guest", "Hakuna Matata", "You Can Fly" and added most recently "Poco Loco". read more

Growing up, I didn't care much for this ride. I mainly used it as a break from being out in the hot sun, and the wait was never very long. But now, it's one of my favorites! It is still nice to not have to wait very long and be able to sit down in some air conditioning. But I actively look forward to seeing the show, even though I've seen it so many times before. And even then, I love that they update the viewing every once in a while, adding in more scenes from some of the newer Disney movies. read more

#107 A very cute and fun show at Magic Kingdom! I love how everything is themed to music! The queue takes you around a theater waiting room and when you look at the walls, they have many funny posters that show various disney characters and the shows they are currently performing at the "theater" you're about to watch a show at! My favorite poster is the one of the Genie singing! The video itself is rather old and needs to be updated. They recently added a Coco segment into the video and I for one absolutely die everytime it comes into the screen during the show because it is updated and very crisp looking. It is also one of my favorite movies so I was glad to see they included and updated this! The video itself is roughly ten minutes and includes various effect such as water and air puffs. I love how they also include scents, like food when the Be Our Guest song segment plays. It makes you feel like you're part of the show! It's a cute attraction to spend a little bit of time with especially if it it's ridiculously hot or raining outside! I enjoy it every time I watch it! read more

I love this ride. Or maybe show is is a more accurate description. I'm an Eisner era kid (90s) so this really caters to the nostalgia of my childhood. It's essentially a mashup of the the most popular classics and their most popular songs with the insertion of the fab 4 causing Mayhem within the most famous scenes. It's 3D. It's seated. It's air conditioned. It doesn't go down in rain. And it seats a lot of people meaning it's getting bodies out of other rides and foot traffic. It's the kind if ride that was instantly classic that's great for everyone (that doesn't y parks seem to be waging war on lately) I hope they don't take it away. It just so cute. A good wait for this one: anything under 25 min (it's often a walk on) though if it rains the wait could skyrocket. Tip if it looks like it may rain, head towards this one because not will not go down and the covered queue line is a good spot to wait out rain read more

A very enjoyable show for kids and adults alike. This show is located in Fantasyland, across from the carousel, and between the carousel and castle. It didn't look like much from the outside but once we got inside the theater it was a different event altogether. You enter into a large area outside a set of doors. Once the previous show is completed and the doors open, you enter into a large theater and are told when to put on your glasses to fully experience the event. The show is a 4D experience where Donald Duck ends up stealing Mickey's sorcerer hat and chaos follows. He crashes through a bunch of classic Disney movie scenes--like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and more--all set to the music we grew up loving. There are bursts of air, scents, water sprays, and the 3D visuals are well done. The beginning may be a little much for little ones but if they can hold out a few minutes the other movie pieces should capture their attention. I did really enjoy how the show pulled me right into the story. One second you're under the sea with Ariel, the next you're flying over Agrabah with Aladdin. And it's just the right length (about 12 minutes) so it's a perfect break from the heat and crowds. So, if you're looking for something that's fun, nostalgic, and a little unexpected, definitely check it out. Mickey's PhilharMagic ended up being one of my favorite surprises of the day. read more

Mickeys philharmagic is a fun and amusing Walt Disney world attraction that is located in the magic kingdom park. The attractions is an 3d cartoon show located in a large theatre. The show consists of Disney's fantasia characters and the famed Mickey wizard from The movie. The concept is Mickey loses his hat and Donald Duck being the sneaky little duck he is takes the hat and we are magically following him along through classic musical scenes from a large variety of Disney classic movies. Overall it is a very fun and cute show and allows kids and adults a like to sing a long and see some of there all to favorite Disney characters. A fun cartoon 3D adventure. Donald gets up to his old ways and goes through a harrowing adventure that due to your 3D glasses you are right in the middle of. This is an adventure for all ages! I loved it... I am a Disney nut though and for me it was a complete treasure of an experience! It was also an opportunity to sit for a bit after all of the walking. The show is a 3D short film of Donald Duck going into different Disney movie scenes trying to get Mickey's Hat back. The show is very cute, and the 3D effects were fun. They even edited the show (at least from the version I orginally saw a few years ago) to incorporate Coco! read more

MICKEY PHILHARMAGIC 4D EFFECTS ARE BETTER NOW Mickey PhilharMagic is a must do at Magic Kingdom - the 3D film, the music and the addition of Coco makes this an all time favorite. Disney appears to have done some much needed maintenance to the 4D effects of PhilharMagic. Enjoy the smell of food and the blast of champagne bottles popping during Be Our Guest. Other 4D effects that seemed to have improved include the overhead fans simulating wind and the splashes of water. read more

I went into this thinking it was just going to be a good reason to get off of my feet for a bit after a long, hot day of walking, but I was completely blown away by how much I truly loved it and how much PhilharMagic engaged me! It's "4-D" and a proper good time if you're even remotely a Disney fan. They show you a ton of different iconic songs/performances from various Disney movies and it has an overall storyline that builds and builds too. It was also especially gratifying to see some of my Disney veteran friends get to see new additions into the show as it seems like this show is constantly changing and/or updating! Overall, just an extremely awesome and well put-together production! It is definitely a must as well and will be especially perfect when you want to be off your feet for a bit! I am eagerly anticipating what this show will have in store for me the next time I visit! read more

This is a great way to cool off while being entertained by a pretty cool 3D experience with some additional surprises as the show goes on. Maybe this makes it 4D or 5D. There's a mix of Disney songs from various movies and cartoons throughout as they all get tied together with Donald Duck trying to save the world or something (it's tough to understand that dude). If you get motion sickness, be ready to close your eyes for a few of the parts. Even though you aren't moving, the film can easily trigger that queasy feeling of spinning real fast or after eating Burger King fries. This is entertaining for all ages so go in, sit and enjoy. Don't forget the glasses on the way in or everything will be blurry. Same if you're too drunk. read more

Wow! This is one of the best 3D attraction at Disney World! Mickey's PhilharMagic Show is located in Magic Kingdom at DisneyWorld within Fantasyland. It's next to the Peter Pan and It's a Small World ride. The outside entrance leads you through several other Mickey titles until you enter the theater. We didn't have to wait at all! We entered the theater and sat down, physically distanced seating was setup from other parties. The music is awesome! It plays several songs from other Disney movies. The colors are bright and there are not too many animations popping out at you via the 3D. The concert hall is large and AC'd. It's a nice break and you get to listen beautiful music such as "Be Our Guest" and a "Whole New World!" This was one of my favorite attractions at Magic Kingdom and would do it again! read more

This is always a fun and amusing show, and it gets you out of that nasty Florida heat & humidity for about 20 minutes! The show itself, without giving too much away, is a brief stroll through some of Disney's most iconic songs (and the movies they're associated with). They must have recently updated it, because a relatively new film (I won't say which one) is now included, which was a welcome and fun surprise! By recently, though, I mean within the past 3 years or so. We hadn't been since the "before-times" (a.k.a. pre-COVID). One thing they weren't doing, though, were the scents and water effects. Before, you could literally smell the scenes in some of the spots, and others would sprinkle the audience with a tiny bit of water when the show warranted it. No more, though. :( Sad. But, I'm sure there are reasons (probably COVID-related, would be my guess). It's still a great show, though, and it's nice to have a sit-down experience that isn't a ride or similar attraction in Fantasyland. It's a great time for kids and adults. The 3D effects might be a little dated by now, but I'd still recommend it. Again, gets you out of the weather for a while. ;) read more

I finally came in here in January of 2022. Thanks to my friends that made me once they found out that I've never been inside. It's a 4D experience as in addition to the 3D glasses, the show will interact with your other senses. Not sure why I never thought to come in here before, but it was quite enjoyable if you're remotely a Disney fan. Even if you're not a fan, this is a great place to be if you want to escape the heat outside or if you just want to rest your feet! read more

I wasn't sure what to expect with this and to be very honest I was at that point in the say where I just wanted to sit and I didn't care where. We came across Mickey's PhilharMagic and I said why not. There was a bit of a wait in a standing area inside where they ketchup know where to stand before the doors to the stage area open. Once inside you pick up 3D glasses and get in your seats. Think Fantasia with a twist. There were engaging parts with the audience and even smells aligned with parts of the show. Not only was it a great time to relax for a few in a seated air conditioned room like I wanted, it was funny, entertaining and brought together the older and younger generation. I honestly completely forgot how cute this sit down show was from previous times. We haven't been on this one in awhile, but when family came to town they wanted to do this one and there was virtually no wait, so we said why not. It runs about every 15 minutes and most of the wait is inside, which is nice. It's a 3D show and requires that you wear the glasses, so I recommend waiting to put those on til your seated so there are no accidents. Every seat is a good seat since it's a 3D show, so don't worry about having to move all the way down the aisle. The show itself is a whimsical ride through various Disney hit songs and the movies they come from. There are a couple of interactive parts with puffs of air and slight mists of water to add to the overall theme and immersive experience. Overall: A Great sit down show that I recommend you hit, especially on those hot days! read more

The music is out of this world and wraps everything from all Disney classics. I have seen it now 10 times and each time gets better. The wheelchair accessible seating is great and doesn't leave you in the way of anyone so we all can enjoy the magic of Disney. This air conditioned theatre with punny posters in the lobby/queue is an excellent place to take a break, enjoy a great show, and cool off. The show has been recently updated with new scenes. The quality of the movie was greatly improved. We sat at the back at the END of a row, which in the past was the worst spot to sit since the 3D elements didn't work for those seats. They did today. I LOVE, love Donald Duck, ever since I was a little girl. This is one cute semi 4D feature. Meaning, on top of the 3D movie short, they splashed a little water at certain moments, released scents etc. This short takes Donald through the worlds of Disney's most iconic movies in search of Mickey's Fantasia hat when he lost it trying to take over the orchestra, when he was told specifically not to. And Donald, being Donald, messed everything up because of his temper... I love him!! Not to spoil anymore than I already have, I will just say to do yourself a favor and watch it. I always see it more than once per day. Since this isn't a ride, lines are usually under 10 minutes. You don't get to pick where you sit, but try to calculate to where you sit towards the center. It is more enjoyable that way. read more

Mickey's PhilharMagic has always been a favorite of mine in Fantasyland. I feel like I usually turn to this attraction when ride lines start to get long and I'm in the need for some air conditioning. This attraction consists of a 15 minute-ish show that basically revolves around Disney music from many of the classic films. You're given 3D glasses, and get to see Ariel sing Part of Your World, Simba sing I Just Can't Wait To Be King, and Aladdin sing 'A Whole New World', all while Donald Duck is interfering with each scene. It's a large theater, so the wait is pretty short and each show can fit a lot of people. I'd love to see some updates to the show someday using some modern Disney movies, but I'm still hoping that PhilharMagic is here to stay for a while! read more

I know I keep reviewing Disney spots that have air conditioning, but this is another one of those spots. I seriously can't handle heat but love visiting Disney with my family, so this is one of those dark, indoor places where we can take a break from the sun. It's an indoor theatre with a really fun show. It's one of those '4D shows' (there's smells and air that blast at you in addition to being 3D). With amazing 3D performances and songs from The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast, this is a must-visit, yet is easy to not notice. Add it to your list! read more

This has always been one of my favorite attractions at Magic Kingdom. It still is but I think it could use a tad bit attention, perhaps a little sprucing up. I remember the first time I saw this show just being in awe of the whole production. They make you feel as though you're going into a concert hall where Maestro Mickey will be leading the band. I don't want to spoil the whole story for you but you hear some of my personal favorite Disney songs. My favorite scene is Aladdin and Jasmine...ahhh. The 4D is just so magical in this show as well as the other surprises! Everything just flows so well in this considering it ties in so many different movies. Don't miss this attraction! read more

This is a 3D show featuring Donald Duck. It really should be called Donald's PhilharMagic, because you see Mickey all of two times during the entire show. That being said, Donald is infinitely more interesting, lovable, and entertaining that Mickey, and I was pleasantly surprised when he was the main feature. Donald, true to form, does something he is not supposed to and ends up being swept through a magical journey through many beloved Disney movies. If you love Disney songs like me, you'll find yourself swaying in your seat and singing along to a lot of the classic tunes. I don't think the 3D is really used to great effect, but the show itself is adorable and I laughed out loud several times. If you're waiting for your fastpass time to start, this show is a great way to spend the time. While it's not necessarily a "must see" that will make or break your trip to Disney, it might just warm the ole heart cockles a bit. And there's the Disney Magic. read more

Show is located in Fantasyland. I've walked passed it so many times and never had any interest to see it until one day we had some time to kill in between our fast passes and so glad I did. Mickey isn't the only character in it, there are a bunch of favorite Disney characters. Don't want to spoil the show except that it feels like more than a 3-D show due to some of the special effects. The show is fairly short, probably no longer than 15 min long, but is fun and entertaining for all ages. Similar to other Disney show attractions, it's best if you're not one of the first people in line by the door entrance because most likely you'll be asked to go to the very end of the row. No need to waste your fast pass on this one. If you only have one day at Magic Kingdom and have younger kids or is a big kid that loves Disney, then I highly recommend this show. read more

I absolutely love this attraction! This is one of the best, if not the best, 4D attractions at Walt Disney World! Though the 3D is expected in some places, most places are surprises! This 4D show was truly wonderful, with Donald Duck as the host and in some of the, the Disney classic songs - "Be Our King", "I Just Can't Wait to be King", "A Whole New World", and more was great! Maestro Mickey as the ending host was wonderful. This was probably one of my favorite things I've done on my Disney trip and definitely worth seeing when you're in Magic Kingdom. read more
