Kids making you cray-cray? (McDonald's playscapes too dark and gross?) This is a great place to let your kiddos burn off some energy! It's clean, open and spacious (although it does get pretty crowded and crazy sometimes). I think it's a great value for the money in wintertime! I love that there's a place for the little kids so that they don't get bowled over by the bigger kids! Do much fun to watch! I've climbed up into the big climbing structure to give the eye on a couple bullies, but most kids are respectful, and MOST parents are attentive. Love all the snack choices and of course the parent benefit of being able to enjoy a coffee and relax, although I'm not quite comfortable getting lost in a book. That said, security is pretty good no kid is going to go running out and there doesn't seem to be any dark corners to sneak off to, but you always need to be vigilant of creepers! My only request would be having one staffer always roaming around, keeping an eye out for untoward behavior, kind of like a lifeguard with a whistle. I'm glad this is an option for parents with kids and that exhausting age! read more

Pros: good place for kids to run, socialize and get their energy out. Cons: if both parents go it's $20 plus the cost of however many children you have, so it could add up. Also we ended up catching some sort of illness that kept us sick for a couple weeks. It's impossible to keep a place that big where children play and touch everything clean. The food and drinks are AWFUL and waaaayyyy overpriced. A tube of gogurt is $1.50 and a plain hotdog is $3.50. The chai tea latte had a sour taste, and the only thing I could relate it to was a hint of vomit taste. Even my husband wouldn't drink it, and he usually drinks anything. Also you aren't supposed to bring anything with you to eat OR drink whatsoever so you have to pay the exorbitant prices for disappointing food and drinks. If you go I suggest eating and drinking everything you need first. Plan on spending however much for entry and base the worth on that. read more

I went here a while back with my friend and her 2 kids under 10 and one around 12. They all were thrilled with the big indoor playground for about 30-45 minutes, but then they were done and wanted to leave. It's a local parks playground on steroids. The 12 year old was bored within 10 minutes and her tweenie self wanted to leave after that, as families go she had to endure another 20-30 minutes of play for her siblings to also tire off the grounds too. The kids were old enough to not have to any adult supervision but as they were all different ages, their interaction was fleeting. They do have a caffeinated beverages for parents and adults and enough kid friendly sustenance to keep the kids upright and zipping around the grounds at least. A decent spot to let the kids run around in a frenzy for a good half hour or so. read more

I don't understand all of the 1 and 2 star reviews. We went here this past Sunday for a birthday party. Everything was in working order, and appeared to be kept up and operational. We were a party with mostly toddlers, so the little play area was were we spent the majority of our time. Is it small? Yes. Is it repetitive for the kids just to climb up, and slide down? Yep. However, they all really seemed to enjoy themselves. There was no infiltration of older kids, and all of the kids in the area (kids not just from our party, too) all had adult supervision. We really enjoyed ourselves. I probably won't be back until my daughter is more in the 4-6 year old range as I think she will enjoy the entire place a bit more. Also, my wife ordered a breakfast sandwich on a soft pretzel bun, and it looked amazing! She wouldn't even give me a bite. read more

I'm always on the hunt for new places to take my 1 year old and on today's rainy day we found this place! Super tucked away and a little hard to find, but we had so much fun once we got there. Surprisingly little guy lasted 2 hours which almost never happens. There is a large cafe for any snacks or drinks which is nice. There's a large playscape for older kids, a small one for toddlers, basketball court and laser tag area. Clean bathrooms, and lots of space to eat. Super super cute! Would go again. read more

$9 a child for admission, are they crazy?! Sorry but I would never pay that much to bring my kids here. It's basically a giant McDonald's play-place with a basketball court and a laser room, which mind you is NOT included in the ridiculous $9 cost. The laser room will run you an extra $2 per child. They sell coffee and cafeteria looking sandwiches for an outrageous price too. There's plenty of seating, in fact, there is more seating and open space than there is places for the kids to play. Bathroom is decent. You'd think there would be multiple hand sanitizing dispenser throughout the place- but not one! Gross. Thank God I carry my own in my bag! I'm only here because it's Free admission all weekend long, and it's my sons birthday on Monday. I won't be back til next year when it's a free weekend again. read more

Nice staff very friendly and side basketball court allows adults to shoot around while kids play .

Definitely a great little place if you have kids and during winter time do you want them to be able to run around and not have to be in a winter coat or have to worry about the cold in general. The price isn't bad either for only $10 for a kid and two dollars for adults to get in it's still cheaper than going to the mall and a kid wanting to buy a bunch of crap while playing in a little play area. I do like they had a food court so you can grab a bite to eat while your kids run around and enjoy themselves they had two different play areas also one for the smaller kids and one for the larger kids. They also have some basketball nets so kids can throw some hoops if they want to and it looks like a laser tag area but it didn't look like it was working. The one thing I wish they did have here that I think would make it a little bit better would be some swings. But I will say this definitely will be a place I will be coming back to just so the kids can run out of energy and take a nap without a problem. read more

My son really likes this place. I only have 1 complaint and it is the laser ninja game. They need to warn you before buying the tokens which cost about 3 dollars for about less then a minute of laser game that it will be your responsibility to tell about 25 kids playing inside the game (that isn't on till someone pays) to leave first so your kid who paid to play can actually play. Then when you get your kid inside the game you will have to physically block tons of kids trying very hard to get back inside because they want to play now that the game is on because I paid. If I have to do all of that and pay it's not worth it. The kids will all yell at you when your trying to let your kid play the game we paid for. They should just let the game play without tokens. I've never been there when it wasn't a mess dealing with that game. My kid always lets a couple kids go Inside to "share" the game, but if you let all the kids the game will be over before you play because they will all set off the lasers. I think it's fair to warn the parents before selling those tokens that cost a lot of money what they will have to do to use those tokens read more

Came here while visiting family in Michigan. Our boys 4 and 7 were quite underwhelmed. As a parent I quickly noticed that staff was no where present other than behind the desk, however they had no uniform to directly point them out. The lazer cave and the basketball area should have staff monitoring. Definitely not worth the $30 cost for both kids. read more

Worst place!! We came on a Thursday afternoon. There were two staff members working who were rude upon arrival and both were nowhere to be seen during the hour I was there. 1 or 2 kids here, the place was dead. I had just been to Starbucks to get a coffee, because there coffee is awful and overpriced for what it is and they wouldn't let me in. I advised I'd be buying snacks and drinks for my kids but they didn't care. I understand they are a business and trying to make money & No outside food or beverage for parties is understandable but to kick me out because I had a Starbucks latte when they clearly need the business..is ridiculous. If management wants to keep this place open, let moms bring in there own beverage and stop being so greedy!! read more

The place is okay for kids but it's $15 for kids 12 months and older on the weekend that's a little extreme, nothing comes with the admission and they are really strict with outside food even for babies! As well this is our second time here and have experienced expired food, the yogurt in the fridge expired june of 2022 and it is january of 2023, when I asked the girl working up front to remove it she stated that she needed to go through all the dates that is pretty alarming meaning most people may not check the dates! read more

Great place to take the kids and let some energy out! $10 for kids 2 and up, $4 for under. They have drinks and snacks for purchase and you can have s birthday party there. There is also s basketball court and for an additional $2, laser tag. Only challenge is had (because I have a 2 year old and a 7 year old), there is a separate area for toddlers that is on the opposite side do I ended up going back and forth to accommodate each kid, so just be aware of that. This place has fallen apart over the years . It could be a great place but they need to deep clean it . The floors are filthy so who knows what the equipment the kids are playing in is like . Tables dirty , bathroom had candy on the floor when I got there right when they opened . The walls in bathroom are dirty, so who knows if the bathroom was cleaned. This is a great place to take your kids to burn off some steam for a good price. However the laser cave is always shut down and that's my kids favorite part. There also used to be a cool thing at the bottom of the structure, something like a giant iPad that kids can run on and interactive with, and that was removed as well. I like this Jungle Java location. They even redid the parking lot! Prices are okay and the coffee is super good when it is made right. The kids love this place and I just wish that staff paid as much or more attention to the seating, bathroom, and play area as they do to the front counter. Those areas seem neglected while the front counter is where all the workers are at. Most of the time there is only a few people running the place so I understand they can't do everything but it would be nice to see them show some pride in their business. With so many kids running around the place, it tends to get dirty quick. Its essentially an indoor playground so what more can I expect? Lots of parents don't watch their kids and then blame the employees when problems arise. Jungle Java requires parent supervision that is why there is a waiver that is signed when you first walk-in. I've seen so many parents just let their kids run around while they are on their phones not paying attention and then something happens and the parents all of a sudden become overly concerned adults who unleash wrath upon the staff. Yikes! Just know if you go to this place be prepared to supervise your child because there are lots of parents not supervising theirs. I think Jungle Java is a great idea but the execution could be a bit better. Kids love this place and I do recommend. read more

My mom and sitter took my 22-month and 4-year-old daughters on January 3rd, 2019. Equipment is falling apart and not clean. We won't be back. Its unfortunate. Winter is so long here in Michigan. With just a little effort this place could really be a hotspot for parents and caregivers who need a place for their little ones to burn energy during bitter weather. I'm really wondering how this place stays open? We arrived at 9:30 and no cars in site. For being a toddler center, I figured more moms and kids would be playing at this time. Nope, just us. I quickly found out why... this place is a dump. Not sure how it's up to code when climbing slides are run down, foam building blocks are ripped and broken and not a sanitizer in site. I give it one star because the bathroom seemed to be pretty clean. Pretty sure this is the ONE employees single job she has to do, which she was no where in site when we were there. One other thing, moms drink coffee to keep up with their energetic toddlers. For us not to bring in hot drinks- and have to pay for an additional coffee cup just to cover up my coffee cup is bizarre. The climbing apparatus and slides at Jungle Java could be really great. However as a parent, seeing the layers of dust and who knows what else on the equipment, is extremely disgusting. My girls and I have been here three times. They are six, so they play in the big kids area, which they really seem to enjoy. Free Wi-Fi is a bonus, so I bring along my iPad to keep me busy. However, every inch of the place is pretty filthy. The bathrooms are a mess, it's difficult to find a clean table or chair (and not once have I seen an employee walk around to pick up around the place), and I don't even want to know what is crawling along the play structures. Every time I have gone there, I've had to take some hand-sanitizer to wherever I was sitting, to avoid the heebie jeebies! We went once when it was super busy and so loud that you can't even hear the person next to you, and my girls promptly announced that they didn't want to stay. Weekday afternoons are your best bet, if you want to avoid a crowd. The water is overpriced and the coffee concoctions are gross. I can't speak to any of the food, but the prices seem to be steep, as expected. We'll be back, only because my girls enjoy the play structure. read more

Great place, we have been there 4 times since the opening last week. They are still training the staff, and don't seem to have enough people working. I waited 30 minutes just to get a smoothie! We did buy a premium membership for 3 months which allows free entry and free laser cave play, but I have 3 children and it has paid for itself in the four visits we have already made. The food is good, there are healthy choices for kids, and it is a fabulous space for the kids to play. My two older ones LOVE the laser cave! Like I said, they are still working out the opening kinks: the laser cave broke down two of the four days we have been there, when it is busy the wait to get in is LOOONG, and the wait for food or drink is even longer! The espresso machine was broken after the first week, so no specialty coffee was available, the staff kept forgetting to give kids the bracelets for the laser cave, and it got really dirty, REALLY QUICKLY. The staff looked like they were going to pull their hair out or like a deer in headlights. Once they get these kinks worked out and hire more staff for busy times of day, I think it will be great!! The kids love it, just make sure you hose them down with purell on the way out! read more

Hard to find, no signs anywhere. Showed up for a birthday party and the first thing I noticed at 12:30 in the afternoon was that the garbage can outside by the front door was over filled with trash. The inside is dirty and could be a breeding ground for diseases, there was crusty white stuff coming from the walls, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Kids had to take their shoes off well the adults left puddles of water all over from the snow, kids had wet socks. It's a HUGE space...giant jungle gym / tree house / rope swings / playscape thingamabob for the kids to ramble around on, plus basketball hoops and even a segregated area for kids three and under to keep them from getting run over by the bigger kids. Tons of tables, decent snack bar (prices are a little high...but whaddaya want...they know they've got you trapped...) that has quite a few options for snacks, coffee, soft drinks and food. And wifi. Had my niece's birthday here and the kids enjoyed it. The only issue was the staffing. They had TWO people working and these two employees were expected to: clean, prep fold, check people in and and get ready for the other 5 birthday parties. 2 employees for all of that!! The two girls did an amazing job but it's not fair for them to have to do all that. This isnt the first time I've seen them this understaffed-- I have never seen more than 3 people there. Employees were amazing. To the owner, please hire more people that way current employees can do their job more efficiently. read more

Yesterday was my first time taking my 1 1/2 year old son here. It wasn't too busy for a Saturday afternoon which was nice because my son is shy and quiet. We walked around to the toddler area which has a small playset designed for kids ages 3 and under. The reason for my 3 star rating is that there were much older kids terrorizing this area. I am not trying to sound dramatic but these kids were probably ages 8 to 10 and were jumping all over the small slides and being extremely loud. The playset in the toddler area is very small and has 2 little plastic slides so we weren't able to safely enjoy ourselves with these older kids literally running and jumping and yelling through every part of the playset. It would be nice to see the employees supervise this area and make sure it is only used by toddlers. Overall it's a nice and fun place for the kids. There is free wifi and tons of places for the adults to charge their phones and sit. However, i wouldnt consider taking my young son there again unless the toddler area was truly only restricted to toddlers. read more
