This company just entered my property (6 men, three trucks), walked though my vegetable garden, checked out my parked cars, walked along the front of my house, looked over my fences, and when confronted, said they were looking for some bogus address. they spoke broken English which probably explains why they couldn't read the NO SOLICITING signs on my property. Upon contacting Juniors Tree Service for quotes. to remove pine tree, Elliot visited, examined, explained calmly to me and gave good quotes and they were able to set up work appointment within a week itself. I can't say if this is a good service or not, but I can say that having one of their big trucks behind me and my 3 kids was alarming. There was traffic and the big semi truck pulling a trailer was driving way to close to the back of my vehicle on Ayers. I pumped my break lights to say hay.. your a bit too close, so he drives closer. Tapped my breaks and he pulled even closer. All I could see was the truck grill. Highly recommend Junior's. I needed a big redwood tree removed from my front yard. They responded promptly to my request for a quote when others didn't. The quote was much lower than expected based on what a neighbor paid another service to remove a similar sized tree. They scheduled the work within days of my agreement. The crew arrived when they were scheduled. Worked quickly but carefully and cleaned up well after themselves. They removed the tree, ground out the stump, chipped it all up and hauled it away within just a few hours. They left little evidence that they had been here other than the tree being gone. Very good work done for a very good price! We had tons of mature trees well over 60feet that were removed (stumps and all). All the waste was chipped and they even laid some nicely as ground covering. Alex was able to have his guys start the day we were quoted and they always cleaned up at the end of their work day with leaf blowing and clearing the area. Juniors Tree Service was excellent from the initial evaluation to the estimate to completion of the tree service. Got estimates from four companies servicing the Lamorinda area. I needed pruning of a very tall Liquid amber, topping large Podocarpus trees, pruning, topping and removal of several fruit trees, and trimming and thinning out an area of hedges over 10 feet tall. Alex was the most through explaining how they'd prune the large tree to maintain its symmetry. His estimate was provided the next day whereas others took at least a week and or followup calls. I appreciated that Juniors scheduled the work accommodating my delayed availability. The crew of 4/5 staff showed up on time, and completed the work a half hour earlier than estimated. During the work Alex made two site visits on top of the site foreman who was also readily available as the the work progressed. Clean up was efficiently completed as the work progressed rather than at the end avoiding the accumulation piles of trimmings and tree limbs. Juniors pricing was competitive and an excellent value. read more

Alex was very helpful throughout the process describing what needed pruning and how it would benefit both the tree and enhance safety.
