I called Junk King this morning to request for a free cost estimate of removing my solid concrete water fountain from my backyard. The rep on the phone connected me to a guy who asked me for the details of what I needed done. He was polite and overall pleasant to talk to and scheduled me an appointment for 2pm the same day. Two men from Junk King came on time and were very professional. They gave me a very reasonable quote which I was surprised about because I was half expecting the rates to be out of the roof. Big companies typically charge more in my experience but these guys certainly don't! They turned out to be the most affordable amongst the other 4 smaller companies I contacted. The staff was quick to do the job and did it so efficiently from start to finish. I'm impressed with the quick turnaround, fair service fee, and overall great customer experience. Thank you! I was given a price quote of $458.00...more than double two other quotes I received. The people came out to my condo and told me that they were hesitant to move the furniture out of my condo because they didn't want to scratch or damage my hardwood floors. I commented that they should have protective coverings to put on the floor; they said they didn't. For a company that is in the business of moving heavy items out of residences, I find this to be very odd. I truly believe they were simply finding an excuse not to do the job. Quick responses -- and easy online scheduling! We have had our broken dishwasher on our porch for almost a month now and have been dealing with the installation company for haul-away services for the same amount of time when my husband and I were finally fed up. Went online and scheduled a pickup for the next day and received a call in the morning that the guys would be there in about 20 minutes to get it. The service was quick and easy and the gentlemen were pleasant to interact with. They wore masks and gloves and took the dishwasher away without any additional hassle. The most easiest process ever! We were in the market for a new couch and chair and obviously during COVID-19 , all furniture places no longer remove your old furniture. So that means, it was up to us getting the old furniture out! I started the process of finding a junk removal company that could help us out. At the time, we didn't have a delivery date of furniture so I couldn't commit to a certain date but once they gave us a date, I immediately followed up with Junk King {Meghan and Sarah helped me out via Yelp} and within minutes they were able to accommodate us, even though it was only a few days away. What I really love about Junk King is that their communication is AMAZING! The day of our appointment they called 2x! Once to ask if it was okay to come early which we had no problem with since we were already home. They did get a little lost but we guided them to our complex and they immediately got to work! Within 15 minutes the old furniture was out of the house, but the hard part was getting down the stairs. These guys had no problem though! I live on the 2nd floor {18 stairs exactly} and I did let the company know prior to making this appointment so there was not any surprises LOL! Luckily the guys were able to do the job right and there was no issues! They moved fast and quickly! I wish I had gotten both of their names, they were good! I highly recommend this company, from start to finish they make everything so easy and streamlined! Absolutely fantastic service! I contacted Junk King on the weekend to help my parents. They needed to remove some large furniture as well as other household junk. I used Yelp's request a quote service, and was promptly responded by the owner within 15 minutes. He was able to set up a time with just 2 days notice! Sam and David came out on Monday to haul the junk away. My dad was very impressed on how hard working and courteous both guys were. He said they promptly removed all the large furniture as well all the miscellaneous junk in the garage. Very professional and very quick! Two days ago, Junk King Orange County confirmed the appointment that I INTENTIONALLY chose to fit my crazy, quarantine, work-from-home, taking-care-of-my-elderly-parents schedule for 3-5pm this afternoon. At 9AM, I received a text asking if they could show up SIX HOURS EARLY because they "were in the area." I politely responded that I was working, and would not be able to accommodate them. We reconfirmed the appointment set for 3-5PM. At 1:30PM THEY SHOWED UP AT MY DOORSTEP, and interrupted me in the middle of a work meeting. When I asked why they were there, they responded that "They were in the neighborhood." It was one of the worst experiences I had with a junk removal company. The guy came and gave us an estimate of around 698$ which was way above our expectation, we still agreed to the price since we're tired of the junk in our garage. He also told us that the final price could be lower or higher based on how much space the junk would eventually consume in the truck. A couple of minutes later when I came back, the guy told me your " wife added this box to the junk and he cannot deal with that!". The box was not actually that big, and also since he said the final price could be higher we thought it could be OK to add to the junk if we forget something. He then just left! It was really unprofessional, I did not expect from a company that has so much good ranking on Yelp. read more

I had to get some oversized items removed from my place and these guys came with one day advanced notice. Chad and his partner showed up on time and gave me an estimate that was lower than I had expected. They moved all my junk out quickly without any damages.
