I received a call the morning of the pick-up I scheduled for my old gas range. The communication was good, and the crew arrived on time. Unfortunately, they wanted to charge me $188 to remove the range, but lowered it to $150 - significantly more than the $99 (minimum, I see) quoted on the web site. In addition, the crew dinged the new paint on my front door and hit the side trim hard enough to pull it off of the door frame. The crew was not skilled at getting an appliance out the front door and down my stairs. In addition, they did not consistently wear their masks properly and this is a hard "no" for me. I will not use this service again; the damage, COVID risk, and higher-than-expected cost does not offset the good communications. read more

Junk King is great! The whole process is very easy. They came in and gave me a quote. The price is reasonable. There were two man crew came to my place. They're super professional. With only two people, they were able to move all my junk, including a queen sized bed and mattress, a glass top coffee table, several storage shelves, a computer desk and a bunch of other large size items so quickly (probably less than 10 minutes) and in such an orderly fashion. I am so glad to find Junk King to haul away my large old TV. I called couple companies but they give me the best rate with the earliest day. Also, $20 off if you book online deal is AMAZING. I was debating about the service since it's a bit expensive. However, I would prefer their service than having my dad break it apart and throw it in the trash can (yes, he really thought about doing that, I'm still shaking) Got my appointment super easy and quick through text messages. Found Junk Kings on Yelp. Needed a lot of Cardboard and Wood hauled away. Adrian was the point of contact, very prompt in his arrival and really friendly. He explained how their pricing is arranged (based on amount of space the junk takes up in their truck) and of course since it was going to take up so much space the price was a bit higher than we hoped for. He knew this and immediately worked with us on figuring out a reasonable amount that we would be comfortable paying to haul everything away.
