Wow. These guys were perfect. I've used 800 Junk before. This time I decided to use a completely local business, not a franchise. I sought quotes from the top rated ones on Yelp. Only 800 Junk refused to estimate. When they finally did, they ended up being the huhhest priced of everyone. Not even close to the others. I went with Junk Relief because they were extremely responsive, they showed good flexibility and their reviews were great. Well, reviews didn't lie. Tnye showed up within the first thirty minutes of the promised two hour window. They called me multiple times to let me know where they were and when they would arrive. I AM SO IMPRESSED!!! I live in a 4th floor walk up with a roof deck and in the process of renovating our roof, we generated a lot of construction debris (primarily deck boards) as well as had old mini fridges, a kegerator, old patio furniture and a heavy broken gas fire pit that needed removal. I knew this was a big job given the fact that the roof was on the 5th floor and there were no elevators. I contacted JUNK Relief and Joe (the owner) responded within 20 minutes. As soon as I provided pictures, he was able to provide me with a quote and we scheduled his team to come out the next morning! There was not even an extra charge for the additional stairs! This was NOT a small job and all of the junk had to be moved through my apartment as that's the only access to the roof. Josh and his team were incredibly professional and even put down tarps to cover my floors as they moved through with their loads. Not a single scratch on my floors or my walls. Not a single complaint from the team about the need to walk up and down four flights of stairs many times. I did not think the job was going to be possible and not only did they get all the junk down, they even swept the roof AND the floors in my apartment before they left! I instead told the dispatcher that they would have a place to park. I made sure that the item they were picking up was secure so no problem carrying it. Hired Junk Relief to remove some large furniture from our storage unit in Chicago. They showed up right on time, at the early part of the quoted time block. The time block was reasonable, too.
