You could see it and when trying to put it on, the lack of stretch made it impossible. The joy returned when my wife went to Thi-Vu and was happily welcomed, reviewed the previous work, and said they would make it right. After a quick fitting and such they took care of it. A few days later the garments were picked up and my wife was shocked at the excellent work Thi-Vu performed. I'll be taking some trousers there soon. I must say, I've made one run to collect some other garments for my wife and the staff are so kind and friendly. It is a breath of fresh air to find a place like this. And those who follow me know that I almost prefer not to share wonderful places like this hahaha, but we are so happy to have found this place. These women in this business talk about customers in a second language…read more I spent $400+ between cleaning 2 mens suits, pressing a blouse, and alterations of 3 pieces, one asking for a lining insert. The alterations were subpar. The zipper adjustment is difficult to zip all the way up. The stains were not even attempted to be removed. To add insult to injury, there were no apologies about missing the lining insert. Just speaking among each other about the issue. Last, I was only refunded $64.50 when I was charged $65.00 for the lining. It was my 2nd time back today to pick up when they told me it would be ready. First, at 2:15 pm told me to come back at 3:30 pm. I couldn't even take the dry cleaning at the initial visit. This place is awful. Quality terrible. Service terrible. Value none!

My husband sent me here to have a dress altered along with his pants let out. He previously had a…read moregreat experience and even though I wanted to go somewhere else he preferred me giving them repeat business. When I got there a gentleman in front of me was asking how they could have lost his pillowcase. The owner got into a very heated argument with him saying he doesn't know where it is and there was nothing he could do. I sympathized with the patron as he showed the paid in full ticket with his name and phone number on it. The seamstress was very nice to me as she checked my dress. When it came time to pay the owner told me cash would be best so I paid him cash. When I called my husband to tell him that they raised their prices he told me to go back and get his pants (as we had gotten much cheaper quotes from much closer places). When I went back, the owner told me no and got a little loud and handed me a few dollars aggressively patted my shoulder and said "now it's fine go". I got a little nervous and walked away, called my husband to tell him I was too nervous to get our clothes back and we could just let them alter them. With my husband's encouragement I went back and asked for my whole order back, the owner got very aggressive with me and I asked him to please just give me my clothes back and he said to call up my husband he wanted to talk to him. I was by myself and he was getting very aggressive not wanting to give me back my clothes. When he spoke to my husband he called him a liar eventhough my husband had left him a previous review including the price. The owner took my phone and read the review and asked if I knew what I was talking about. At this point the seamstress was now being brought into the conversation against me. Only after getting off the phone when my husband demanded he give me back my clothes did the owner agree. He rolled up the pants and shoved them to me then took my dress to the back with the seamstress to take out the pins and rolled it up before handing it back to me. He gave me back my $120 cash and again put his hands on my shoulder before saying "have a nice day go" I feel bad leaving a review like this, but I did not feel safe there and think that is very important for other people to know.
