Have been to Lighthouse cleaners on several occasions and it's the only cleaner I will use from now…read moreon. My clothes always come out perfectly clean and my suits look pristine for the next event. I also use it for some of my nicer dress shirts and have even started bringing in my football jerseys which keep them looking like they're brand new. The clothes are always wrapped nicely which will keep them in that just-cleaned condition until you need them again. The staff are always very friendly and work to get you in and out quickly and efficiently. The price is more than reasonable and it's always done much faster than expected. On a side note, it's also convenient to knock a few errands out at once with the Amazon Dropbox being in the lobby and a Publix right next door. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality dry cleaner in the area.

Although the waist size itself was reduced, the way it was done was simply by folding and sewing the waistband, which created a noticeable bump right on my hip bone and made the jeans uncomfortable to wear. Because of this, I had to bring the jeans back to be redone. When I returned, the lady at the counter insisted that I had not paid for the service, even though I had already paid $59.12 for the jeans alterations. I had to search through my credit card charges to prove that the payment had already been made. Unfortunately, the top also had to be redone because the straps were not adjusted properly the first time. Throughout the process, I felt that my concerns were not really listened to. What was most upsetting was being spoken to very aggressively and even yelled at in front of my child while trying to resolve the situation. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the quality of the work and the way the situation was handled left me very disappointed.

I've used Westside Cleaners a handful of times over the years, mostly out of convenience--but…read moreunfortunately, I've never been consistently satisfied with the results. One of the more frustrating experiences was when they returned one of my husband's shirts literally half shrunk. I know that sounds strange, but one side of the shirt was visibly shorter than the other--and it absolutely was not like that when we brought it in. We followed up multiple times asking for an explanation and never received any real response or resolution. Another time, I brought in a white women's blazer with a small red wine stain. Before even attempting anything, I was immediately told they wouldn't be able to get it out. I asked them to try anyway. When I got it back, not only was the wine stain still there, but there were additional spots that hadn't been cleaned either--and I was still charged. Out of curiosity, I went home, put a little hydrogen peroxide on the wine spot, and it came out instantly. I then brought the blazer to another dry cleaner, and they were able to remove the remaining stains without an issue. It honestly made me question whether my jacket had even been cleaned at all. At one point, I inquired about their delivery service and was met with a pretty rude response--basically told that unless we used dry cleaning weekly, they wouldn't consider us. That was surprising, especially since we do use dry cleaning regularly--we just choose to go elsewhere because of past experiences. They said they'd follow up and send a driver with a bag...that never happened. Most recently, I brought in a bundle of clothes, including very small toddler items. I made a point to mention that some pieces were for young children. When I picked everything up, I was charged the same price for a toddler suit as an adult suit. When I asked about it, I was told they don't differentiate pricing for kids. That didn't sit right--there's a big difference between cleaning a tiny toddler outfit and a full adult suit. At that point, it honestly felt like I could have bought new clothes for the same price. After multiple experiences like this, I had to ask myself how many chances to give. For me, this was the last one.
