There seems to be a great arrogance in this industry like they are the only business in town. I have run across this attitude a few times with other businesses. Come to find out the guy that I was speaking with disclosed he was the tailor. Share your experiences, drive out the bad businesses from this area. Not acceptable here, it never has been and never will. Send them back to where they came from, it certainly is not from this area.

When I got there a gentleman in front of me was asking how they could have lost his pillowcase. The owner got into a very heated argument with him saying he doesn't know where it is and there was nothing he could do. I sympathized with the patron as he showed the paid in full ticket with his name and phone number on it. The seamstress was very nice to me as she checked my dress. When it came time to pay the owner told me cash would be best so I paid him cash. When I called my husband to tell him that they raised their prices he told me to go back and get his pants (as we had gotten much cheaper quotes from much closer places). When I went back, the owner told me no and got a little loud and handed me a few dollars aggressively patted my shoulder and said "now it's fine go". I got a little nervous and walked away, called my husband to tell him I was too nervous to get our clothes back and we could just let them alter them. With my husband's encouragement I went back and asked for my whole order back, the owner got very aggressive with me and I asked him to please just give me my clothes back and he said to call up my husband he wanted to talk to him. I was by myself and he was getting very aggressive not wanting to give me back my clothes. When he spoke to my husband he called him a liar eventhough my husband had left him a previous review including the price. The owner took my phone and read the review and asked if I knew what I was talking about. At this point the seamstress was now being brought into the conversation against me. Only after getting off the phone when my husband demanded he give me back my clothes did the owner agree. He rolled up the pants and shoved them to me then took my dress to the back with the seamstress to take out the pins and rolled it up before handing it back to me. He gave me back my $120 cash and again put his hands on my shoulder before saying "have a nice day go" I feel bad leaving a review like this, but I did not feel safe there and think that is very important for other people to know.

This shop…read morenot only completed the repair, but they went beyond the basic repair, matched up the metal rings to make the bag look more polished than it was when I first bought it, and sewed unobtrusive black leather patches over the canvas around the rings to make sure that the rings wouldn't tear through the canvas again. Some women have collections of purses in different sizes and colors that they accessorize daily. I don't. I seek out and acquire one sturdy but lightweight black fabric purse (with multiple pockets and compartments that can keep me organized) that I use all the time except for very dressy occasions, and generally, I use that bag for years until it's no longer usable. I set up the bag so that each pocket or compartment holds very specific items, and I become very accustomed to how it's set up. I hate having to change bags. This shop understood exactly what I needed, and went above and beyond. The next time I need that kind of repair, or any alterations, I'm coming back to this shop. The repair wasn't cheap, but it was worth every penny. They do excellent work.
