They're informative, show you what's important, what to look out for during your driving tests, and any habits you need to either make or break! What really helped me the most was their optional payment to pick you up an hour before the test; Although it costs a lot of money to do so, being able to drive through both the DMV routes will help you know what to expect & to ease into driving right before the exam! Most importantly, I will repeat again, the instructors are very patient. In just four lessons and a total of eight hours, I was able to cover all basics thanks to this amazing driving school! If you want to learn driving and have a good shot at passing, I absolutely recommend this. Believe me, I was the least confident about my driving abilities before this, but I was able to pick it up very quickly!

Nina was a good instructor and very nice, but there were a few issues with scheduling. She would sometimes arrive late to pick my daughter up and occasionally drop her off before the lesson was supposed to end -- at one point, about 30 minutes early. My daughter also had a little difficulty understanding her because of her accent, though she was always kind and patient. On the positive side, this was one of the cheapest driving schools we could find, and in the end, my daughter did get her license.

From the age of 3 my son has showed a fascination for video games. As of recent, to my delight, he…read morehas shown interest in the creation of video games (coding). In order to assess his level of interest, I downloaded the trial version of an iPhone game/app called Code Spark Academy. This app allows the user to create the intricate details (levels, rewards, etc.) of a game and then play the game. During this time I noticed that his traditional games and even television shows were put on the backburner. While driving through Elk Grove I noticed a new (at least new to me) establishment called Code Ninjas. I immediately found their website and saw that they offered a coding camp based on the popular platform Roblox. Thankfully, the class was being offered on a day that fell within my son's holiday break. Before registering my son for the class, I ran it by him and he enthusiastically said "YES!" After submitting the payment information, I received a welcome packet from Code Ninjas (outlining the facility rules) that I quickly completed and submitted. The morning of the camp I packed a lunch for my son (Code Ninjas does not provide lunch), and we hit the road! After being warmly greeted by the employee at the front desk, I signed in my son, kissed him, and sent him off to explore the world of coding! When I arrived to pick him up, he did not want to leave. Aside from putting the finishing touches on the game that he created for Roblox, he was "networking" with his fellow coding camp buddies. During our ride home, he could not stop talking about the coding camp. He explained to me in detail the game that he created and that his game was saved so that he could resume the modification of the game upon a return visit. I highly recommend Code Ninjas for any parent that has a child that expresses interest in coding. Yes it is a bit pricey ($89 for the coding camp), but it will definitely pay off (literally) in your child's future! I am already planning on registering my son for the Minecraft Coding Workshop. Doing a quick Yelp search, CJ Sewing popped up as one of the top rated alterations establishments in Elk Grove. I immediately scheduled an appointment for the following day. Since I was in such a frenzy, I totally overlooked the instructions in Ms. Jackson's (business owner) appointment confirmation email (the email states that you should bring a long sleeve shirt, a belt, and dress shoes if you're having a suit altered). When I showed up to the establishment, I was warmly greeted by Ms. Jackson and her cute furry friend- Sir Winston. As fate would have it, my suit jacket did not require altering; therefore, the belt and dress shoes that I had on were sufficient. Ms. Jackson is definitely a wealth of knowledge and respectfully shared with me that the slim fit suit pants that I had were not appropriate for my athletic build (slim waist & thick quads). However, she walked me through the alterations that she would make that would complement my physique. On the expected pickup date, Ms. Jackson informed me that she would need additional time and could drop the pants off to me later that afternoon . This was not a problem considering that I dropped the pants off at the last minute. Also, I really appreciated her communication. As promised, Ms. Jackson dropped the pants off and they were a perfect fit. Thank you CJ Sewing!

Luckily, I didn't have to.. easy parking, easy locating the place, and entering inside Safety Training Seminar's suite. The space was well maintained, clean, gloves available, wipes, and proper working mannequins! Logged into the computer, and I started my skills training immediately. Once I completed, I verified my e-mail on the computer and clicked "send" and it sends you how to claim your e-card online. Certified same day and I even verified my card was legit through AHA's website. Thank you Safety Training Seminar!

It worked with my schedule and gave me the tools I needed to excel at what I do. It is an excellent program!! It is a 10 week program that's financially affordable and you're able to complete even if you have a full time job, I know I did! You will meet with your instructor twice a week, one day you will do your classroom portion and the next day you'll be doing your practical/ lab portion with your classmates. Your instructor will help and guide you along the way, you will be able to find an externship which will help with your experience and in finding a job!

I went and did a little research on Assist to Succeed and also looked up the Facebook page of this particular location and so on. I even decided to e-mail one of the students that was tagged in a picture to ask her how she liked the program. She said she loved it and had nothing but good things to say about it. I think there are only 2 Assist to Succed programs as far as i know and one of them is in Oroville. So i am happy that there is one in Elk Grove, since that isn't too far from where i live. I decided to show up in person and ask questions and get more information. I didn't have a car at the time and the money, eventhough this is far cheaper than going to one of those other colleges. I wasn't going to sign up right away, but wait for the next class instead. Becky was really nice and explained how the program works and i left feeling good about possibly starting something new. However, i never did sign up for the program at that time. Here we are a year later. I went back 2 weeks ago with a friend of mine, because the both of us were considering becoming Dental Assistants, so she came along with me and we met up with Becky, the instructor. Again she answered all of our questions, showed us around and told us what all the program entails and what we have to look forward to. We even got a folder outlining what we will be learning, dress code, registration form etc. She's super sweet :) she gave us a card and told us we could feel free to contact her and ask her more questions if we had any. I am actually excited about this and know i could start a new career and just learning something different in general, which always exiting and a bit nervous. This time i will actually attend the school and my friend will too. We are actually going back this week with our filled out forms and down payment to secure our spot. My daughter had a lead role in a production of this company about 10-12 years ago. I do believe…read morethey did a great job of creating a good performance. What I don't like is how I was treated as the mother of a girl that was considered to be loose with boys. She had a crush on a boy that was also in the same production, and his mother/guardian didn't like my daughter, so consequently, my daughter gained a very bad reputation, and with the organizers of the performances. What my complaint is that I purchased 3 copies of videos of the show and never received any. I kept asking for them, and never received them. Was I being judged as a bad mother and then they decided I couldn't have the videos? I have no proof. When I purchased the videos right after the performance, in the back of the gym where the performance was, there was a table there with one of the organizers of the show attending it, selling future videos of the show. I wrote my name down on the list, which performance she was in, and it was recorded that I bought three videos. I asked for a receipt and the lady said that I didn't need one, my name and contact information was on the sheet, therefore, I didn't need a receipt. After weeks of asking for the videos, after it was announced that the video was available, I finally gave up. That is criminal behavior! I was hated for being the mother of a girl they considered to be loose, and therefore, they would not give me the videos I paid for, is my guess, what else? They knew that I didn't have proof of paying, so I couldn't prove anything. How horrible! Not only did I gain a bad reputation, I didn't get what I paid for. So these people judged me (didn't know me at all), and it was them who had criminal behavior. All I really want is a video of my daughter performing, even one!

MMP is an exceptional program for kids of all experience levels and abilities. The productions are…read moreconsistently top notch. The community is supportive and the kids have such a good time. Kids emerge with dancing and singing skills, but it's so much more. Doing a show together means they make new friends while realizing what they are each capable of! Students can participate one show at a time or join an academy. Traveling and competing is an option but not required. Whether they do one show or stay for a decade, they will get so much out of the experience.
