They are very kind and knowledgeable. I went to one vet who gave me the completely wrong diagnosis and I'm now on a new program from Just Cats and my cat is doing sooooo well! Very thankful I've found them.

    Best greeter ever!!

I am not sure why just cats does NOT have five stars?? I would give them a million stars if I could. First Mister O'Malley was the best greeter ever :) second Rhonda was amazing when contacting me to set greys initial surgery. Long story short I had a terrible experience with another place and honestly I'm glad. Because this allowed me (or my vet) to find such a great place!!! The staff was AMAZING (sorry i forgot the vet tech who was in my initial consultations name but she was a super star!!) the vet tech just put me at ease immediately. I'm super picky with my pets and I ABSOLUTELY NEED people that care because my animals deserve the best. She allowed grey to do what ever he wanted (he wanted to sit the the cabinet but it's not allowed at home) which made him super comfy. I was in tears when I had to leave him over night but she reassured me that he will be well cared for. Which he was. Then there is Dr. McManis....I don't even have the words to express how grateful I am. She went above and beyond to make sure I fully understood the surgery grey would need. She was up front but delivered the information in a way that put me at ease. She listened to my concerns and answered all questions I had. Post surgery she followed up via phone and she walked me step by step through the procedure. Again I can't even express how grateful I am. Most importantly I know grey is so grateful and can now live a more comfy life. It's hard for me to trust anyone with my pets but hands down I would recommend just cats for anyone looking for a great vet and staff that truly cares. this place was the total opposite from the last place I had visited. Grey was priority. Period. I would recommend this place to anyone hands down and without a doubt. Anyone I know or any person I meet that has a cat will definitely hear about this place. Great job Just Cats! You guys are rockstars !!!!!

I have expressed genuine concerns over the fact prior to adopting my girl, she had to have one of her legs amputated due to patellar luxation and have asked Dr. Stone to check it each and every time to make certain all is well. (most recent visit was in Sept. Suddenly, this past week our girl began limping severely, and I had to wait two days to get an available appt to see another Dr as Dr Stone only works Fri and Sat. This other Dr. - a male, wasn't too helpful but referred us to a local ortho surgeon after telling me my girl had stage 2 luxation - which as you will read later makes me question his level of expertise. The vet he referred us to has a very low rating (3.6) and wanted over $285 JUST FOR A CONSULT! This is after paying the fee to get the "professional consult" of the Dr we saw. I did some research and everyone said that "Blue" vet hospital is terrible and to avoid them. So I did. Now I am questioning the practices of this Clinic. Don't they care who they refer their patients to? And he diagnosed my girl with Stage 2 but the very next day I went to the best orthopedic surgeon in the state and he did the surgery that day - telling me she was a severe stage 3 and clearly had been at that level for some time as the stages don't progress that rapidly. Now, I am questioning whether I even want to continue pet care here. My gut is telling me no.

It's rare to find a vet that combines this level of professional service with such a personal, caring touch. Highly recommend!

Upon arrival, we were required to pay a $700 deposit before our cat was even evaluated. After payment, he was taken to the back, but instead of immediate treatment, we were instructed to call an animal poison control hotline ourselves which also required an additional fee. We were not informed that the clinic would also charge an even higher fee to consult with poison control. We spent about an hour on hold with poison control while our cat waited in distress. After completing lot of paperwork, He was treated with antibiotics and anti nausea medication, we were sent home with just antibiotics, despite the fact that he was still experiencing severe labored breathing. The breathing issues continued throughout the night. The next day, Dr. Goodyear called and said she regretted not administerina a steroid to help his night. The next day, Dr. Goodyear called and said she regretted not administering a steroid to help his breathing. We returned immediately to pick it up. Tragically it was too late, after giving the first dose at home, our cat vomited, began convulsing, and passed away. We later took him to another veterinary clinic for a necropsy and were told that the prolonged respiratory distress likely led to cardiac arrest. We are very heartbroken. We brought our cat in for urgent care and trusted that he would receive immediate, appropriate treatment. Instead, we feel critical time was lost, and key decisions were delayed. And unfortunately our beloved cats life was cut short.

We brought our 170-lb mastiff, Louie, in for a routine heartworm test. The tech attempted to draw blood from his front leg but couldn't get any on the first try. Instead of using a new needle or properly cleaning the area again with alcohol, she reused the same needle in the exact same spot. When that didn't work, they eventually drew blood from his neck area. A few days later, we noticed a growth on the same leg where the attempted blood draw occurred. At first it was small, and we thought it might be a hygroma since Louie is a large dog who tends to drop his weight on the floor. But by Saturday morning, his leg had suddenly swollen to three times the size of his other legs, and he could not walk at all. We rushed him to another vet because this clinic was closed. That vet took X-rays (which were clear) and told us the swelling was not a hygroma, his leg was filled with fluid and could be an abscess, soft tissue sarcoma, or another serious issue. They immediately started him on medication for infection and pain. On Monday, I contacted this clinic to inform them of what had happened after our visit. They asked for photos, which we provided. They then asked for more pictures, and we even sent the X-ray from the emergency vet. Several days passed with no response until we finally received a call, only to be told that it wasn't their fault and there was nothing they could do. They also tried to convince us that reusing the same needle in the same spot without re-cleaning the area could not cause an infection. I'm not sure what veterinary school teaches that, but basic medical hygiene says otherwise. What makes this even more frustrating is that no solution, no concern, and no accountability were offered. Even if they believed it truly wasn't their fault, the complete lack of responsibility or willingness to help was incredibly disappointing. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. Louie suffered significantly, and instead of helping or even acknowledging the issue, the clinic dismissed us entirely. I strongly urge other pet owners to be cautious and consider seeking care elsewhere.

The doctor came in, briefly looked at my cat's eye, put a drop in it, and the entire interaction lasted maybe one minute. After that, I was shocked to be charged $165. No one explained the pricing beforehand. I was never given a price list. The only thing mentioned was a "visit fee," but no one clarified the total expected cost or explained what additional charges would be added. Everything was simply included without transparency. When I questioned the bill and asked why I wasn't informed in advance, I was told: "You didn't ask, so we didn't feel the need to tell you." That response alone says everything about how this clinic operates. It's not about the money -- it's about transparency and honesty. Pet owners deserve to know what they're paying for before being charged. A one-minute exam and one eye drop should not come with surprise charges and dismissive attitudes. I cannot recommend this clinic. Please ask for a full breakdown of costs in writing before agreeing to anything.
