I just realized I never wrote a review for GoldiLoxx - I had my wedding hair and makeup done here…read morein September 2024, and I also came here in July, for my hair and makeup trial, and in February to check them out beforehand. My hair and makeup person was Melissa, and she was great. In our initial meeting in February 2024, she went over what's included with me, and pricing. She was very welcoming and the salon is a very cute place, as well. In July 2024, I stopped by for my hair and makeup trial; overall I liked Melissa's work, but my face was a little more rouged than I would like, so I told her that and she made the adjustment on Sept. 15 on my wedding day. For my wedding day, myself, my three bridesmaids, and my MIL and SIL all got services done at GoldiLoxx - most of us got hair done, but two of my bridesmaids also got their makeup done. The only reason I'd give GoldiLoxx 4 stars instead of 5 is that my hair didn't hold up for a while - there are a few caveats to that though, being: 1. We took our wedding photos before the ceremony, so it had to last from about 9am or 10am until 4:30pm when the ceremony started and 2. It was a high of 85 degrees that day (unusual, in September! Ironically my husband and I had picked Sept. for its nice and temperate weather ...) so that probably also didn't help. My bridesmaids and a few of my husband's cousins had to help curl my hair again right before the ceremony, because of this. Overall, however, I'd highly recommend GoldiLoxx for any hair/makeup needs, especially for a wedding. Something else I forgot to mention: if you want to rent the place out, on a Saturday for a wedding, there's a $500 fee, but because my wedding was on a Sunday, when they are normally closed, they opened the salon up for me and there was NO charge, which was really nice of them.
