The food was fresh and tasty. The bánh mì sandwiches were very good- recommend. You can't go wrong with the drink menu too. Very tasty. Lots of seating for a solo or group trip.
My husband and I stopped by Just Cuz Café for lunch today, and it's such a cute little spot! I ordered the matcha latte, which was really good--I'm already looking forward to coming back to try the strawberry matcha latte next. The salted cheese foam on top was absolutely delicious and really made the drink stand out. My husband got the black milk tea and said it was chef's kiss--definitely a win. We ordered two of the "Eggssential" sandwiches--one with bacon and one without--and both were excellent. A small note--the chairs are visibly worn, and one was falling apart, but my husband was able to swap it out easily, so it didn't impact our experience. The music had a really nostalgic vibe, which we enjoyed. The only thing I'd mention is that a few songs had explicit lyrics, so it might be something to keep in mind for families with young kids. Overall, the food and drinks were amazing, and the girl at the register was friendly. We'll definitely be back!
Visited this spot for the first time and it was super cute. Love their distant breakfast sandwiches and drink options. If i lived locally, i would have to go back to try all the things! My breakfast sando was sooo yummy. I still need to finish it!!
My son and I favorite place to go for breakfast. The sandwiches and coffee are so delicious and service was great. It can get busy and it is a small cafe. Many order to go when it's busy.
As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a sweet smiling face. We asked about what's we spill get she recommended the egg sandwich. OMG it was a delicious experience. Definitely a few napkins were needed
Love the ambiance here seating is limited it's small & when it's busy there's hardly indoor seating I'm assuming when it's warmer that they offer outdoor seating ? Staff was nice & fast they accidentally charged me for two drinks & told me to keep the second drink I low key was stoked but struggled to finish them lol They offer sandwiches & I ordered their grilled cheese it was one of the best I've had in a long time. I ant to come back & try their breakfast sandwiches.
This new family owned business js so cute and serves great drinks and food. Pictures is a blueberry matcha latte alright my favorite is their coconut matcha cloud. I've heard others rave about their egg sandwiches as well
Strawberry matcha and egg sandwich were both very delicious. The egg sandwich was the star for me super fluffy eggs, fresh lettuce, and the bread was perfectly toasted. Everything came together really well and made it a standout. The strawberry matcha was refreshing and nicely layered. Once mixed, it had a great balance of sweet and earthy flavors. The staff were friendly and helpful when it came to choosing a sandwich. The shop itself has a clean, cozy vibe, and the presentation of both the food and drink was on point. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.
Finally tried Just Cuz Cafe after hearing all the hype for it the past year. This might become a new go to spot for me! The drinks and food were great, the staff was super friendly, and the whole vibe inside was upbeat and fun. I love a cafe with a little chatter and energy. Prices were reasonable and everything came out fresh and hot. I ordered the Banana Match and Egg Banh Mi, and my partner ordered the Mango Freeze and Turkey Pesto. Everything hit the spot. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu!
Just Cuz Cafe is a Vietnamese-themed cafe located in Lacey, a short walk from Saint Martin's University. The parking situation is a bit limited in the area, but manageable. There are street parking and a parking lot behind the complex the cafe is located in. Do be mindful where you park because it looks like this parking lot is meant for residents living in the apartments in this area. I noticed there were some other parking lots nearby that were quite spacious but might have been for other businesses in the other. I have been wanting to visit this cafe for a while and finally decided to over the weekend. I rarely ever go down south of Tacoma, so it was a nice change of scenery. It was a bit busier than I expected it to be at 11:20AM on a Sunday. However, my sister and I were able to snag a table after placing our order with the cashier/barista. I ordered the Strawberry Matcha Latte for myself while my sister ordered a regular Matcha Latte. We both ordered our own Bacon Eggsential sandwiches as a little breakfast/brunch item. The Bacon Eggsential is a sandwich made with bacon, soft scrambled eggs, garlic croissant toast, cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, sweet mayo, and chives. The sandwiches were SO GOOD. It was truly worth the $14 for the sandwich. It was a lot bigger than we expected, too. It was honestly a bit intimidating when it was brought out to us. It was beautifully crafted and plated up to show the softness of the scrambled eggs and melted cheese. The drinks were good, better than some other matcha places I have tried for sure. I liked that the cups were on the bigger side too. If there is one thing I recommend ordering, it's the Bacon Eggsential sandwich! If you aren't a bacon fan, there is one without bacon!
I've been here a few times, and I am always looking for an excuse to swing by even though it's out of the way of my normal routines. The strawberry matcha here must have some kind of addictive chemical in it, because it's one of the best drinks I've had in my entire life. Delicious matcha and a perfect level of sweetness and strawberry flavor to complement it, without overpowering the matcha. I assume it's real matcha and not artificially sweetened like it is at coffee chains like Starbucks. The coffee is phenomenal too. Really well brewed espresso, very flavorful, not burnt at all. This is a great place to stop for a drink on the go or to sit and enjoy the nice vibes while working. Every employee I've interacted with has always been incredibly friendly. Great place!
I lived in Lacey back in 2006 and they had nothing like this when I was around. Glad to see some trendy cafes open up and doing it well. The Vietnamese coffee with the salt foam was delicious and the egg, bacon, cheese breakfast sandwich was absolute fire.

I can go on and on about Just Cuz Cafe. The matcha is the best I've ever had. Please try the strawberry matcha! I dream of it often Breakfast sandwich's are huge and delicious!! Must try! The cafe can get crowded for obviously reasons. The people who work there are also very very kind. Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in WA. read more

Possibly the best egg sandwich I've ever had! Light and fluffy, excellent sauce, bacon, avocado, perfectly grilled bread... sooooo good!! It was called the Sweet Heat and wasn't spicy at all. We also had the beef Bahn mi, also excellent! read more

Over hyped. Really disappointed. I really really wanted to like this place and was so excited to try it. I have to say it's a very limited menu. We ordered the coconut iced coffee and a caramel cappuccino and the egg sandwich that's featured on their menu currently. The coffee's both came out very quickly. The sandwich took about 10 minutes to get out to us. For the size of the coffees and the sandwich I found it to be pretty expensive. Also, I don't know what kind of creamer or sweetener. They're using in their coffee, but it leaves a really really bad aftertaste. I only ended up drinking about three sips of my coffee and I couldn't finish it. The egg sandwich had way too much sauce on it, and the eggs weren't fully cooked which obviously people are different about the eggs, but I just found it to be not good we ended up throwing it away. Like I said, we wanted to like this place, but it was just overpriced and not very good . The customer service and the ladies at the counter were both very nice. No issues with that just wished for more. read more

JUST CUZ CAFE (Lacey, WA) 5 Stars - This is my favorite cafe! I've been to Just Cuz Cafe many times this year, and it has officially become my go to spot. The location is super convenient, and the atmosphere is always cozy, welcoming, and a good place to get some work done. The food and drinks are consistently great. To me pricing is reasonable and the quality here makes it absolutely worth it. The staff is always friendly, which makes the experience even better. Washington may seem like the home of coffee but, having lived outside of the country, Europe and Asia have rebranded the coffee experience and it's not easy for any cafe in the states to compare. With that having been said, Just Cuz Cafe has both unique, sporty ambience and, more importantly, unique drinks with a very Asian influence, like matcha, ube, and black sesame, they even have cheese foam topping, something I've only really tried on milk tea. Additionally, they have avocado smoothies, which are amazing as they are BUT taste great with a shot of espresso as well. Beautiful location. We are visiting family here and decided to try this spot out. We got the coconut matcha latte, a Spanish latte half sweet, the turkey pesto sandwich and eggsential breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious! The Spanish latte was mostly cinnamon but still very good, and the coconut latte came blended. We will definitely be back before heading home! read more
We stumbled upon this spot hungry and on the way to Portland from Seattle on a Friday afternoon traffic. We are glad we did cause little did we know they are Cambodian owned and we love to support our fellow khmers. What brought me here was their egg sandwiches, but I ended up getting the Lox bagel, it was jam packed with flavor, however the bagel was a little tough. My husband devoured the lemongrass beef banh mi. Our drinks were perfect! It is nice to see a sugar cane presser for fresh juice. The strawberry matcha was refreshing with flavor. The service was sweet and quick. Counter service. The vibe was nice, small, minimal decor. Going for that chill ambiance. Restrooms are in the back shared in the business building. Amazing matcha, aesthetic all around, but the smell... I initially was drawn to this place from the aesthetic labels on their drinks and solid ratings. I decided to meet up with a friend on a Thursday morning 9 AM to be exact. DRINKS 8.5/10 Matcha Latte Vibrant, creamy, and unmistakably green. The flavor delivered: smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced with their house sweetener. The salted cheese cold foam is a must. I probably could've done with a touch less sweetener, but overall, this was a hit. However, the space had one major flaw. From the moment we walked in, there was a strong scent of cooking oil smell hanging in the air. At first, I brushed it off, but after about an hour of catching up, I left and realized the smell had completely attached itself to my clothes and wool Margiela blazer. I could smell it on me for the rest of the day and felt so nauseated, which killed the mood significantly. To be fair, it could've just been something going on in the kitchen that morning, maybe off timing I guess, but it's worth mentioning for anyone sensitive to scent, because it lingered on me much stronger than hotpot. I'd definitely come back for the matcha, just as a to-go order next time. On the positive note, the cafes aesthetic was nice. A little "hypebeast" urban feel with a pretty green marble table and a comfy couch to chat with a friend. It's a great spot for photos and a quick caffeine fix before your next stop. I came here because my friend told me this was good and im so happy I came here. When I walked in my impression was the place was inviting, clean, bright natural lighting of good energy. I ordered the Matcha cloud beverage drink and the Beef Ban Minh sandwich. The drink was refreshing and the sandwich was great! Waiting wasnt too long and friendly service. The beef was more like a brisket type of meat and thr bread was toasted perfectly as it wasnt hard to eat it. One of my favorite places to go and I highly recommend it. read more

We took a pit stop at this cafe on our way to Seattle. It was a great choice for lunch! Frozen mango smoothie is both fresh and creamy and has a small layer of (I'm assuming coconut) tapioca pudding at the bottom. We also got the chicken banh mi and egg banh mi and turkey pesto sandwich. All were very good choices. My favorite was the egg banh mi because it had a slightly runny yoke inside. read more
I tried this place with a friend, recommended by one of my friends who lives nearby. I ordered the Eggcellent sandwich and the Spanish latte with pandan cheese foam. We received our food 15 minutes after ordering. You can sample the cheese foam before choosing your preferred flavor, which is a nice touch. I really enjoyed the Spanish latte. It wasn't overly sweet but had great flavor, though it leaned towards the sweeter side. The Eggcellent sandwich was well-made, with a sweet taste that didn't require any additional spice. The bread had a slightly sweet tinge, likely from being toasted with something sweet. The only downside was that the sandwich was small to medium in size and the bread was slightly oily. My first time here I tried the house coffee and their eggs essential egg breakfast sandwich. It was the best egg sandwich I've ever had. Toasted milk bread, crisp lettuce, light fluffy eggs made even creamier with the sweet mayo and cheese. I will make this a treat for all upcoming oncology appointments. read more

Went to Seattle for the first time and found myself driving by Lacey, found this modern gem and ended up being the best food experience I had in Washington! Not only a cool vibe /aesthetic giving tribute to basketball but the service was exceptional. Met the owner Shahid and received nothing warm and friendly vibes from him and the staff. Ended up trying a couple drinks and sandwiches for myself and my group.... Loved everything. If I had to recommend my top picks, drinks would be the strawberry matcha and house coffee. The strawberry mix wasn't too sweet and it blended just enough to taste both matcha and strawberry for deliciousness. The house coffee had a special salted cheese foam that was the perfect blend to the house coffee. For sandwiches, don't sleep on the egg banh mi and the eggssential. Even if you're not a fan of eggs, this place is able to make eggs and turn into something quite special! Please, do yourself a favor and try it out because this community is lucky to have this cafe! read more

Why was I sleeping on Vietnamese coffee all these years? I ordered a Cappuccino and a House coffee after a small discussion with the person on the counter . She recommended I try the House coffee based on what I was looking for ,and I am so glad I did . The coffee comes with condensed milk and a salted foam yet somehow the sweetness is never overbearing at any point and the coffee is strong . I was in such a dilemma to drink it slowly and savor every sip yet I couldn't help myself from finishing it up too fast . This will have to be my must stop places enroute to Seattle from now on . read more
This cafe is so aesthetically pleasing in a hypebeast way! I ordered an iced matcha latte with their house sweetener ($7.68). It only came in one size which was 20oz. Oh my goodness I absolutely loved this place. Came here for the egg sandwich -- I was late, they stop selling it at 1:30, but now I have an excuse to go back. A win is a win. Ended up ordering the egg banh mi + blueberry matcha. It was just better than I could have ever imagined. Not sure how they cook the egg, but it was so delicious! Perfect umami flavor. This place is such a gem. We always get the beef banh mi, it's packed with flavor of lemongrass which I love and the beef is so tender and juicy. The strawberry matcha latte is also outrageously good! The strawberry purée takes it to the next level. We are always greeted so warmly here and not to mention the vibe & aesthetic. I had the eggsential sando. I'd give it a solid 4.5 stars out of 5. Cooked very well there was plenty of lettuce and sauce. The sandwich was filling and relatively inexpensive and it was toasted with butter, which was a nice touch. I definitely try more from this place. First time here. read more

Found this place on just a whim and a yelp. We are from California and I wanted a good spot to get some lunch after visiting the ROAM sanctuary. This place HITTT. So so good and it was destroyed. Finally get to check this cafe off the bucket list. A must visit when in the Lacey area point blank period. All staff members on site were helpful, attentive and super kind. A great place for a delicious variety of sandwiches/pastries that pair well with amazing house special drinks. The mango freeze is a must try. Not to mention the ambiance this cafe brought to all guests. Very clean and well maintained. Will definitely be back! read more
