Really good sandwiches. It's a cool little place. Orders come out fast. There is no seating other than a few tiny tables out front, but it's a covered area. Seems to be a pretty popular place to swing in and grab something for lunch really quick. Clean looking establishment. You can watch them make your food right in front of you and they'll bring it out to you if you want to sit outside. I guess the tables outside could be just a bit bigger. Great place though! The lady seemed shocked when I walked in. It's a TINY TINY TINY place. Literally enough room for one or two people to stand and wait while their food or being made. They have outdoor seating but no trash cans. I wish I knew this was a take out spot so I could have prepared better. But I don't think I'll be back..... Edit to add! I ordered the turkey truffle, excited to try the homemade truffle red onion aïoli. The sandwich looks promising. Nice high stick of turkey. Thick tomato slices.... First bite was delicious! Great turkey sandwich. As I get about half way through I realize there's no homemade truffle red onion aioli. Unfortunately there is only regular mayonnaise. Quite disappointed with that. And honestly the whole experience. I wouldn't recommend this place... there's a Safeway up the street and I think my $12 for one basic sandwich could go a lot further there. read more

Delicious little restaurant located in a little shopping center next to Spuds Market. I was shopping at Spuds and decided to stop for lunch. Very friendly greeting when I walked in. They advised that brisket hot sandwich is most popular. I chose the half rueben sandwich and tomato soup. The tomato soup was freshly made with real tomatos and taste sooo satisfying. Hubby and I shared a sausage and egg breakfast sandwich here, while we were grabbing coffee next door. We ordered and paid inside and they were nice enough to bring it out to us as we sat outside with our coffees, waiting. The sandwich was not too big but we weren't super hungry so splitting it was fine. The bread is kinda like a biscuit. In addition to the sausage, there's cheese and a fluffy egg. I ordered the truffle turkey sandwich with oven roasted turkey and truffle onion aioli, the turkey was pressed probably from costco, the "truffle aioli" was plain old mayo, there was a blob of it hanging off the sandwich so i tasted it just on its own, mayo blech. By noon they were out of the tomato cheddar soup and the clam chowder was just okay according to the hubby. No indoor seating packed with supplies, so there isn't even room to wait for your order. I have been wanting to try this place for years, but never seem to be in the area when they are open. Today was my chance and I was very excited to support this establishment in my community. I ordered two brisket sandwiches today. One for my girlfriend and one for myself. Hers was on gluten free bread and it ended up being 3 times bigger than my regular, non gluten free sandwich. My hoagie bun was so small that I could have eaten 4 of them and still been hungry. Half of my bread was so hard that I had to throw it away. I am not one to write reviews, but this situation definitely warranted one. I had to go get lunch somewhere else afterwards. In a perfect world, two sandwiches ordered at the same time, should at least be the same size. Because her gluten free bread was so much bigger than my hoagie roll, she got 3 times as much brisket compared to my sandwich. Still shaking my head. Yum! One of the best sandwiches I've ever had! Counter service, and there's a good amount of outdoor seating. I got the "Smokey Chicken", which was smoked chicken salad with pickled onions, tomato and lettuce on rye. The bread was soft and fresh, and the food was flavorful--the smoked chicken really gave it an extra dose of flavor. The ingredients taste super fresh and I think there was some sort of onion aioli on it that was DELISH. I brought a friend from out of town here. There is no inside seating, and there's one small table outside. We went and sat in Olympia Coffee (right next door) with our coffee and sandwiches and it was perfect! I have walked past this little spot numerous times in my quest for pizza, produce, and coffee (the cafe is in a little neighborhood building with all of the aforementioned stores). HOW HAVE I DONE THIS FOR SO LONG? I am a HUGE FAN of this place. I dropped in during prime lunch hours and a few people waiting to order. They were so efficient, very nice, friendly, and organized that I was literally placing my order within 1 minute. I received my order within 5 and I watched her make everything fresh! They have a fairly small menu but the items listed all looked amazing and it was difficult to decide what to order. They have an option to make a combo and choose whatever salad they have for the day (pasta, green, or potato) and a cookie (not an average cookie, this is a gourmet treat!). They also had different soups and a special for the day. I ended up ordering a Turkey Truffle sandwich, a side of potato salad, and a macaroon cookie. To say that every single bit I took of all 3 items was OUTSTANDING would be an understatement. The sandwich was full of tasty quality ingredients. It was a decent size for the price I paid as well. The potato salad was everything I wished for and the macaroon was simply heaven in my mouth. There is no where to sit, so it is a grab and go but that was fine with me. On a nice day, there are benches out front you could sit on though. I will be back again, soon, to start working my way through the menu. I am very impressed and am so thankful that Ican say that 4 out of 4 businesses in this little Wildwood building are five star shops! Interesting fact, you can go to a chain (rhymes with tubmay) and get a chintzy sandwich with sparse (not fresh or quality) toppings, a small bag of a chips and a small soda and pay more than what you would pay here at a local shop with much bigger portions, higher quality food, friendlier employees, easy parking, at the same cost or even cheaper in some instances. I walked in with my heart set on a salad and was a little anxious because I thought the menu was all sandwiches and it was really small and I was like "OH GOD, I CANT GO BACK NOW". I was relieved, ordered the chicken salad, paid a fair price for my lunch, hopped next door to grab a latte and returned five minutes later to retrieve my food. Now, bratty salad eating goats such as myself are often wary when people claim they can turn "anything" into a salad. A salad is a complex creation of flavors, textures and colors. When (so often) done poorly, they result in the garbage that has given salads a bad name since literally the invention of sliced bread. This salad defied my snobby assumptions! There was a healthy serving if chicken salad atop a bed of mixed greens. The chicken salad was a pretty complex flavor combination, particularly for a dish that most people think is pretty common. There was yellow raisins (most underrated salad topper everrr) and a distinct smoky flavor that was present but not like PitMasters-Louisiana-Campfire level. The salad greens were varied and there wasn't a trace of iceberg. Pickled onions gave a color boost and the acid blast it needed to balance the mayo. Cucumbers were carefully arranged around the sides. The ingredients of this salad were prepared and presented with care by someone who wants to serve healthy and delicious meals. Dont get me wrong...the sandwiches are tasty. There is no dine in and there really isn't much to this place considering there is just an ordering counter and a small drink cooler. The menu is on the window for you to look at it from outside the establishment. For a sandwich, canned drink and bag of chips was $18. While the service was friendly...and the sandwich good...it was a sandwich nonetheless. Overall rating 2.5 due to pricing and no seating and the menu on the window, it makes it almost like they don't even want you in there. read more

On our trip to Seattle, we stopped by this little sandwich shop in Olympia and it was run by a lovely woman who made delicious smoked chicken salad sandwich, beef brisket sandwich, and Italian sub. At first it seemed the portions were a tad on the small side for the price of the sandwiches but after finishing it, we were mostly satisfied. The kid's meal was a half sandwich, choice of fruit/yogurt/chips and water/Honest juice box. There's only 1-2 bistro style tables outside for 2 people so it's more of a grab and go place. We made it out to the nisqually reserve a little late today and decided to take a late lunch to brewery park. The closest family owned was this place. We tried calling in an order but there was so answer. Their machine said to order off the website, so we did. The sandwiches sounded good, but the other adults were unimpressed with theirs. My husband and my sandwiches were fair but our daughters got a grilled cheese, which was super hard and cold. Our friends had asked for a yogurt for one of their kids and she ended up with fruit leather instead, which caused a boat load of tears. We had requested apple juice and got grape juice, which our daughter was fine with but her cousins then wanted. To sum it up, it's not worth the $45 we paid by a long shot. Great reviews but I'm not sure i can give more than a 3. Why? Well, I ordered the beef and cheddar - and it was a beef & cheddar sandwich for $10 - nothing more and nothing less. Oh, there was ground mustard but no lettuce. There were tomatoes but they were cut so thick that they were more like chunks vs. slices. I added a "pick two" for some chips and a cookie and, all done and said, the total with tip was $20. A nice place but no compelling reason to come back. read more
