    Superdank

Really good sandwiches! The full was massive and at $15 I thought it was a good value for the portion. One sandwich became two meals! Service was quick and everything tasted fresh. I ordered the Superdank and it lived up to its name. Would definitely stop here again!

My sub that came with a side salad on the sub!

Subs and service were very good! There is no atmosphere because you can't go inside! Also, no five stars because I asked for no lettuce on my sub and they gave me a small side salad on the sub!!!!!!

    Menu as of 11/29/23

Since we moved to the Lacey/Olympia area, I've been trying restaurants trying to find our new "go to" places in various genres. I was looking for a good sandwich shop, and what I had in mind was an Italian or New York or Philly transplant who had a deli with genuine hoagie rolls (IYKYK) and gets upset if you ask to customize your sandwich. What Google and Yelp pointed me towards was Canna Cabana. Its menu was fun and funky and I decided to give it a whirl expecting nothing more than a novelty gas station sandwich. I could not have been more wrong! I went to the drive-thru location on Marvin (I understand they have a dine-in on Yelm) to give them a try. Lexi helped me, and was polite, helpful, prompt, and not trying to rush me as I perused the menu. She answered my questions and made recommendations, and asked about how I heard of them and where we were in the area, so A+ on service. I went with their signature sub, the Super Dank, with crushed nacho Doritos and jalapeño cheese bread. I don't know if they slice meat to order, but they have a slicer and you can tell the meat was at least sliced fresh. Also not sure if they bake their bread in such a small shop, but it too tasted fresh and while it wasn't an East Coast hoagie roll, it had a just-right fluffiness and chewiness, which so many places seem to struggle with. The drive-thru only spot has two windows to order/pick up from. There isn't a ton of room to line up, so no idea how they might handle a rush, but at 1:30 pm I only had one person behind me. I can describe the building's vibe as "cute meets hole-in-the-wall." The sandwich making process took at most five minutes, and it was still warm when I got home, and neither the chips nor bread had gotten soggy, so magic, I guess. Not only will I be back, but when my family visits we are always trying to find great picnic food, and this will be the first place we go to next time around.

The sandwiches with chicken and Turkey were the same price. No need to charge $2.50. Poor excuse.

I got the super dank added Avocado, banana peppers and pickles. Half size

We've driven by so many times and finally stopped in for lunch -- safe to say we'll be back. We ordered two house specials (two meats + fried egg). I got the pork and tofu, and my boyfriend got the beef and pork. Heads up, the marinade can be on the sweeter side (according to my bf), so if that's not your thing, it might not be your go-to. But i really liked the balance of sweetness with the spice of the jalapeños. The bread was the standout for me. A lot of banh mi places have bread that's too hard, but theirs was perfectly crisp and easy to bite into. Can't wait to try more of the menu

I jumped on Yelp and got this recommendation so I drove on over. First off, easy to locate and easy parking. Secondly, the storefront is clean, cute, and minalmist. The menu was easy to read and the prices looked fair. The employees working were super nice, efficient, and enthuastiac to help. BUT most importantly, the chicken Bahn Mi I ordered and DEVOURED was TO DIE FOR. It was one, if not the BEST, Bahn Mi I have ever ate. The portion was perfect, the bread crusty and soft all at the same time, the protein plentiful, and veggies all fresh and of high quality. I brought the sandwich back to my work place and all of my co-workers were drooling and we are planning on a run next week for them to all try it as well. I will absolutely be back. I would like to say I will work through the menu but honestly it is gonna take me awhile because the chicken Bahn Mi has been living rent free in my head since lunch time. They have a loyalty program too. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME.

Always good sandwiches according to her. So it was, with my meatball sub - hot, properly saucy with even a little kick. We took them to go and, in my case, getting a hot sub it stayed warm. I'd definitely put this above Subway. The restaurant itself was spacious and looked clean enough. We ordered ahead and it was ready in the 15 minutes it took to get there. It was good to check out a local favorite sandwich shop. At first I couldn't believe it, but the more of it I ate the more certain I was. I have never eaten more delicious chilli. What a total surprise. And the meatball sub wasn't bad either. A half sub is a meal in itself -- I'd only get a whole one for two people. Unless you want to save the other half for later, or you're a football player, or just have an unusually large capacity for meatballs. Even more impressive, both items have completely different flavor profiles despite both having similar ingredients. Will definitely be back

I didn't live close to a Firehouse Subs at my last address so I had never bothered signing up for an account (& all my friends + coworkers often ordered for me at work lol). Now that I'm down the street from a Firehouse Subs, I signed up for an account and ordered online for pickup at this location, which came with a discount for first-time customers ($10 off, if I recall correctly). Understandably, my order was not ready by the time that I arrived, since I placed the order 5 mins before arrival. I didn't mind the wait since the restaurant was fairly clean and I was able to use their public restroom. The employee working on my order was nice enough to inform me that they were working on it, so I wouldn't be left guessing where I am in the queue, since a couple customers entered after me, probably waiting for their takeout orders as well. It took some time until my order was ready (probably just another 10 or so minutes) but waiting isn't a problem for me, as long as my order is made correctly. I didn't eat my sub immediately after I arrived home but by the time I opened it up a few hours later, I was very pleased to find that the bread was not soggy, my order was accurate since all my customization preferences were followed, and everything tasted delicious! I will definitely be returning when I am craving a sub :)

I got the Italian which is buy one, get one free. Thought I scored a deal! The sandwich. Ohhh, the sandwich. Soggy, messy, dry meat, all at the same time. While I get that restaurants expect the drivers to pick the chips up, if I ordered and walked in on my own, I would think staff would say "Chips are on your side, just pick out the ones you need" My husband pre-warned me before the order arrived (unfortunately the order was already made on the app and it was too late to cancel) but I had hope it wasn't so bad because it came straight to us and the place had been in business for quite a while. I finally got to try Katsu Burger with my son earlier this week (weekday afternoon), and I can…read moreconfidently say it lived up to the hype! When I initially walked in, it wasn't too busy, but it filled up quickly while I was still figuring out how to order. They use a kiosk system where you choose dine-in or takeout, and it's nicr that each menu item had photos and ingredient descriptions so it made it way easier to decide, especially for our first visit. The space itself is small and quaint with a couple tables, but full of lovely art. There's lots of cute anime and Japanese-themed decor, including figurines, plushies, and artwork, giving the place such a cozy, cutesy aesthetic. I also noticed they might be hiring, based on the sign at the entrance. I came here because my cousin-in-law (who lives in upper Washington) mentioned the place, and I needed a redemption meal after being disappointed by another chicken spot recently. Katsu Burger definitely delivered! The burgers here aren't your typical American-style burgers. They don't taste as greasy and sub cabbage instead of lettuce, similar to garnish for a tonkatsu plate. And surprisingly, the photos on the kiosk actually match what you get (no false advertising here!). The employee behind the counter was super kind and helped guide us through the ordering process. I don't think they take cash so maybe that's why orders are placed through the kiosk. For food: My son ordered the Tokyo Tower burger as-is, and I tried the Umami Burger with light cabbage (not a huge fan of crunchy water veggies like lettuce/cabbage/etc.). Both were AMAZING. I have heard of tonkatsu but I had no idea what beef katsu was before this. Thought it was just a regular beef patty, but wow.. it was crispy, flavorful, and just overall delicious. We ordered takeout and didn't even get home for about 30 minutes, but the food was still warm enough to enjoy without reheating. Portion-wise, my burger was perfect: filling but manageable (i think i made the right choice with light cabbage). My son's Tokyo Tower was massive (almost too big for him to handle xD), but we both agreed everything tasted incredible. I was tempted to try a bento box, but I knew I wouldn't finish it if I was already ordering a katsu burger. Next time though! My son already has his eye on the enormous Mt. Fuji burger, so we'll definitely be back. Parking is decent, though it can get busy during the day since it's near a gym and other businesses. Overall, if you're in the Lacey area, you HAVE to try this Katsu Burger at least once. It looks like they have about 8 other locations too in the other towns so if you're not in Lacey, there still might be one nearby you. The burgers are absolutely the star of the show :) I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

At the speaker, the barista repeated my order back correctly. When I got to the window, she told me the total, I paid, and then before handing me my drinks she informed me that they hadn't charged me for the second drink. I was confused because the total had already been around $10, so I asked how that could be if one drink hadn't been rung up. She explained that the price included all of the add-ons, but when I looked at the receipt on my phone, it wasn't clear at all. In fact, the receipt made it appear as though both drinks had already been charged. I was then charged a second time for the missing drink. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. However, many businesses will either honor the original total or apologize for the inconvenience when the mistake is on their end. Neither happened here. To make matters worse, after paying again, I was handed drinks that were incorrect, they were the wrong size and not what I had ordered. When I questioned it, the barista simply went back to what she was doing without apologizing or offering to fix the situation. After I left, I looked at the second receipt, and it also didn't make much sense. It's really unfortunate because my family spends a lot of money here. Between my kids getting Italian sodas and our coffee runs, we're regular customers. I usually enjoy the ambiance and the staff, however, was very disappointed with my experience. A simple apology and an effort to make things right would have gone a long way. Instead, we left feeling overcharged, with the wrong drinks, and like our concerns didn't matter. Because of this experience, we won't be returning.
