I had a cracked tooth and he recommended a crown. I asked several times if I needed a root canal and he told me no every time. Even after the crown, I still had pain in that tooth for over a year and was told different reasons every single time. Long story short, I ended up with that tooth being abscessed and had to have a root canal. The endodontist who did the root canal stated that it was very iffy if the tooth could be saved. That was several years ago, and I still have pain in that tooth. It will have to be pulled and an implant placed. I would not let this man near my mouth ever again.

I specifically made sure to ask the staff and verify whether the oral surgeon was in-network (knowing that he only comes to this clinic once a month). I was aware that other dentists at the clinic were in-network for me, but I was never given the name of the oral surgeon before the procedure. I was assured that he was in-network for my insurance, which was the only reason I had my procedure done here. However, after my claim was filed, I was informed that he was out-of-network. So what would have been a $300+ out-of-pocket cost for me ended up being $1600+. I hope nobody else will have similar experiences.

I called my dental insurance agent after leaving the office and he said this office is over-charging for what I was covered for. I called the dentist office back within 15 minutes of leaving to discuss what I talked about with my agent, and the office manager had already left early. I was in severe pain and suffering from a tooth so infected that my throat was sore and my glands were swollen. Unknown to me the infection had traveled to my sinus cavity - the doctor informed me of the infection upon examination. Dr. Fazalur Rehman met me at the door upon arrival and had his fantastic team start with X-Rays immediately. Not only did this office accept me for an emergency appointment at the end of the day, I did not arrive until 4:30pm but they stayed to perform 2 emergency extractions - we were there until well after dark - 1 tooth was extracted completely intact, the other tooth however had to be removed in peices. I was treated with care and respect. The dentist and his assistants made sure I was comfortable during the entire procedure. The staff are the utmost helpful and professional, not to mention personable as well. We arrived early and waited until 8 a.m. before anyone greeted us. The visit started off well the hygienist took x-rays, blood pressure, and saliva tests, which made it seem like they genuinely cared about our health. Unfortunately, things went downhill quickly. After nearly an hour, we still hadn't received a cleaning. Instead, the dentist told me I needed a deep cleaning and crowns. I explained that I'd review those options later but just wanted the standard cleaning I came for, especially since my previous dentist said crowns might be needed eventually but not anytime soon. The office manager, Andrew, then came in to review treatment plans and coverage, but the conversation felt more like a sales pitch. Despite me repeating that I only wanted a basic cleaning, he continued to push the deep cleaning and crowns, ending with, "Okay, we'll just need a signature." At that point, it felt dishonest and pushy. We left without getting a cleaning and won't be returning. Patients should be told upfront if the first appointment is only a consultation and not an actual cleaning and be allowed to decide for themselves if they want additional procedures. Recommendations should remain just that -- suggestions.
