[[HIGHLIGHT]]The store is cute and clean and customer service was great every time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have gone three different times to get the crookie but it has not been available. Right now they're making King Cakes with cookie dough and it was pretty good but not what I was hoping to get. I have ordered several different cookies and they're pretty good but not the best I've had. The ones I got on Saturday were pretty dry and crumbly, they were better when I got home and put them in the microwave. I think the creme brûlée one would have been exponentially better if served warm. I will try again after Mardi Gras for the crookie but unfortunately I enjoyed my recent experience at Crumbl better. I hope next time I can give a 5 star!! read more

Found this joint thanks to Yelp and man was I not disappointed at all. The lady at the first was awesome and she was very helpful in picking the right sweets for my customer. I ended up getting 2 boxes of sweets for my customers to show some appreciation and they fell in love and had never heard of this spot. My favorite was the brownie. Let's start off by saying this is the best cookie spot I've been to so far in New Orleans! The staff is super friendly and helpful, the owner explained every cookie she had to me. The croissant was soft, the cookie was firm but yet soft on the outside, the cookie dough in the inside was a nice surprise, real sweet but a good sweet amazing! The zesty lemon was out of this world. The lemon taste really came through the icing and the jam like topping. The Cookie was soft with a nice texture everything really complements each other. After seeing this business on Instagram and all of its cuteness, it was only right that I came by and got a taste of it myself. For starters, it's a fresh, new space that is well decorated and the staff were very welcoming; they took the time to explain that the menu changes every month and listed the options for this month. I decided on 2 chocolate chip cookies, 2 cookies and cream (they have a 4-pack cookie option), and 1 brownie. I personally am a huge fan of gooey, almost half-done cookies and the chocolate chip cookies were pretty crispy. The flavor was there, but I am just not the target audience for its texture. The cookies and cream however were the PERFECT amount of gooey/soft inside. I loveeeeed it! The brownie was just ok to me. I look forward to seeing next month's flavors and coming back to experience the new additions. read more

Great bakery. The owner is really nice and has a gem on her hands , at only 22 years old. The brown butter banana bread blondies, Chocolate Chip cookies, Salted Caramel cookies, brownies, slutty brownies. Everything is delicious! I visit JEMS frequently. It never disappoints. Went in one afternoon for the Crookie. They were already sold out so we tried a few other treats and all were very enjoyable. Made sure we got back early the next morning, when the owner told us we were most likely to get a crookie. It was worth the wait. Very enjoyable. Highly recommend the creme brûlée cheesecake too. This place is awesome! I love the rotating menu because it keeps the flavors fresh and exciting. By far my favorites were that petit four cookie (the icing was SPOT ON) and the Neopolitan Brookie. If this is available when you are there, it's a MUST TRY!!! The brownie was gooey, and the flavor of the strawberry in the cookie really comes through. Very overpriced for the product. These cookies were nothing short of terrible. I got chocolate chip, eggnog, and gingerbread. All of the cookies I got were not good but the gingerbread cookie was probably the worst tasting cookie I have ever had in my life! I haven't experienced a cookie to taste completely bitter with no other flavor before. I honestly think that they maybe added the wrong amount of sugar or they ran out. The chocolate chip cookies although looked fresh they were not and the eggnog one was just making it past the okay mark. This could have been a very off day not sure, but if it wasn't I definitely would not recommend at the price point for the product received. read more
