People need to read the stories about this place before going there. I took a referral from a local company by where I live and was taken advantage by James at Just Faucets & More. I needed replacement thermal cartridges. This guy tried to sell me the exact same cartridge for $139 that I bought on Amazon for $85. That should have been my first clue. Then he told me he would get me the complete set of replacement fixtures for my 2 showers. They charged me $250 for each kit which were the same kits I see for $75 each. He convinced me these are superior fixtures (Same Manufacturer) and that's why they cost 3 times as much. I think that they get most of their parts from Craigslist and eBay then mark them up 300%. After waiting for them to be "Shipped from California" I dropped by looking for an update. The guy's father is behind the counter. I asked him about my order, and he says that James does his own thing and doesn't leave notes about the orders. I have to check back with James. Upon my third in person visit, James gives me just the fixtures, one adapter, no screws, and no way to install the second fixture. They need an adapter and set screws that are not included. The reason I went here was they say they can find replacement parts for older models. Not true. They sell you old junk and then tell you good luck. Look at the sign hanging high over their security cage that says, "Absolutely No Refunds". There's a reason for that! Buyer beware. read more

Despite this business and its employees being referred to as the go-to guys in the plumbing industry for hard to find parts, I had a poor experience. Just Faucets was the 3rd place I visited while searching for a replacement hose for my leaky faucet. Apparently this part was hard to find and my last resort was to buy a new faucet assembly. Ferguson Plumbing quoted me $250 for a mid range Kohler faucet and when I discussed pricing with Just Faucet employees they quoted me $320. They said Ferguson quoted me a lesser quality material and in my haste to fix my leak I went ahead and paid $350 including tax. Turns out the part Kohler quoted me was the same exact Vibrant Stainless model. Overpaying $100 for a common off the shelf product wasn't even the worst part of my experience. It was the after sale service that really bugged me. Following the straight forward install, my brand new faucet was leaking all underneath the cabinet. I called Kohler and spoke to CS and after confirming that I was missing some O-Rings, I called Just Faucets and let them know my "brand new" product was missing two O-Rings and a flow control in the sprayer. They said its possible I might have lost it during install, which may have been a possibility but I doubt it since these parts were inside tubes and the sprayer which I never opened up inside the assembly. I suspect they took parts from my "new" box but I can't be sure. They don't do exchanges/refunds and told me to call a plumber, which cost me another $100. Fortunately the plumber had a similar Kohler faucet in the truck and was able to replace the 3 missing parts. If you are searching for hard to find parts, give them a go, but if you need to buy a new product I would go elsewhere in order to save money along with the option for exchanges if you are missing parts as I was. read more

Home Depot sent me here when they didn't have the parts needed to fix my faucet. Did Just Faucets have it? Yup. Did they explain how to adjust it for a proper fit? Yup. Was it more money here than if I had found it at Home Depot? Yup. Did I care? Nope. When plumbers are not sure which part you need for old faucets, they recommend going to 'Just Faucets'. Leo & Sherwin are the go to men when it comes to plumbing issues. They know and have seen it all. When they tell you that's all you need, 99.9% they are spot on. FYI, They do not take back returns, unless they messed up (RARE). Been coming to them for over 20 years, still in the same spot...thought they were no longer there until a plumber informed me to go and get the flange from them to save time. When your good...your good. Excellent customer service and knowledge...did I not say that? If you have a faucet that needs a part. Very dishonest company. I went for a hose to my faucet, they had, so the guy asked right away if I'll be paying with Visa, Mastercard, or Discover, I said Discover, so he took the card from me and and finalized transaction without telling the price. I was shocked when I saw the receipt for $75 with info that no returns is accepted. That part costs in Lowes $50, and on amazon I could buy just the part I needed for $20. A terrible place! My contractor purchased a replacement sprayer hose for $40 that was defective. Of course we only realized it was defective after was installed and found that very little water would pass through it. He called the shop and asked if it could be returned for a refund. The stores policy is clear - no returns or exchanges. Apparently this applies even if the part is defective. All they would do after some haggling is to give us a 30 day store credit. This did me no good since I would have no need to buy a new faucet or part within the alloted time frame. Bottom line is I had to incur the loss. What justification is there for not refunding the cost of a defective item? Frankly, there is none. Better to shop at Home Depot or any other chain where you can return a purchase for a refund for a host of reasons. This business simply lacks ethics. read more

I visited the location on 8.3.19 looking for a replacement hose and spray head to my faucet. When I walked in and told them of my problem i was immediately met with rude and condescending behavior. The men were laughing and mocking my request right in front of me as I was not as educated on faucets as they were. I threatened to leave and was met by someone else working there who tried to recover. I ended up leaving and going to Banner who was extremely helpful and polite and resolved my issue in minutes. My husband went in with plumbing issue - they talked him into buying a new faucet to the tune of $175. Plumber fixed the issue - did not need the faucet. My husband went back NEXT day to return the unopened package with receipt and they wouldn't accept a return. Will NEVER go back into this store and will actively work to inform other customers. Have used these guys in a pinch a few times and they have come through with flying colors. Yesterday I found myself in a puddle of water doing the dishes: the garbage disposal was leaking like a sieve! Did some disposal research and priced the big box and local guys. I called Just Faucets on a Saturday morning, they had all the answers and a competitive price. I ordered an Insinkerator compact sound insulated unit. It was not in stock... but they had it within an hour from their warehouse... on a Saturday morning! I am OK on around the house repairs, these guys gave me simple instructions and I had installed in under 30 minutes. Since I was replacing the old unit I didn't have to change the sink flange, so that saved time! The unit is as quiet as advertised. I highly recommend Just Faucets: very knowledgeable, helpful and experienced staff and company! read more

Actually, half of this star belongs to me for being foolish enough not to do the research and for not checking out the reviews on Just Faucets before ordering from them. Also, the big banner behind their service counter saying "No Returns!" should have been a clue! I was remodeling a small bathroom. I needed a sink faucet set, a shower assembly, a heat lamp/vent fan combo for the room and a vent fan for the shower. Picked up everything at Just Faucets. While checking out the vent fan installation instructions on the internet, I ran across the price of the same fan at HD. At $130, it was $95 dollars less than at Just Faucets! OMG! I began checking out the prices of the rest of what I had purchased. Not good! Heat lamp/vent fan combo: $53 at Menards vs. $135 at Just Faucets. Hand held shower & connecting elbow: $148 at HD vs. $231 at Just Faucets. Sink faucet assembly: $215 at Lowes & HD vs.$278 at Just Faucets. So, for these four items I paid roughly $870 vs. about $560 at HD, Menard's, or Lowes. Foolish me! I gave away $310! So I went back to Just faucets armed with my after-the-fact research ( about 25 pages) and got some mumbled comment about their costs being higher than the big box stores. I gave them that, but not the 55% additional that they charged me! Sherwin said he would see what he could do and get back to me. I gave him a copy of my research and left. That was two weeks ago. Have I heard back from Sherwin? Foolish me! I get half a star and I RELUCTANTLY give the other half to Just Faucets. Lesson learned: do the research before I buy and NEVER go back to Just Faucets! read more

All faucets, sinks, toilets (four bathrooms), towel bars, hooks etc in our home are Kohler products. Had to replace the kitchen faucet as it no long worked. Have purchased numerous faucets in the past from Just Faucets so they are my "go to place" for faucets. Kohler has changed their product from all metal material to metal and plastic. The finish although the same on both pieces show differently. Just Faucets called Kohler several times to help me resolve my issue. No response. However, Just Faucets continued to work the issue and found a faucet piece that more closely matches so the look is good. They offered to take the faucet back and let me buy a different product. They are the WORST !! they were nice when I placed the order over the phone. When I picked the part up they were OK, anything I asked them their answer was I DON'T KNOW. When I took the part out of the box he seamed kind of nerves especially when I started moving the rotating parts around. I wanted to return the part so I called the next day & told them that the holder DOESN'T ROTATE so you can position the shower head the way you want. He said that they do NOT TAKE RETURNS & that he knows that the company did change the part & there is nothing he can do for me. We trusted the knowledge and expertise of Sherman, store salesman. He sold us a Kohler kitchen faucet, saying we got a special discount price beliw retail. WHAT A CON JOB! Back home we looked up the model number and found we could have gotten it for $100 less than that! If you are in the market for a kitchen faucet, don't make the same mistake. Go to build.com. Search for Kohler kitchen or bath faucets. Save $100 or more and put this jerk out of business. No returns at Just Faucets in Arlington Heights ! If I had known they didn't accept returns I would have walked right out before letting my wife spend $700.00 in there. Unfortunately, I never noticed their sign and since she paid, I didn't see the receipt. I actually didn't try to return anything but that's a principle of mine. I did have a problem with a shower arm diverter. It was supposed to divert water from the shower head to the handheld. This $58.00 Moen diverter instead allowed water to flow from both handheld and shower head at the same time. I took it back and the guy supposedly tested in the back and told me it didn't do it for him. So, I guess I'm a liar. His response was to give me Moen's number and deal with it myself. I was recommended to go to Just Faucets for a new faucet from my plumber. They were really nice and helpful. I selected a faucet at 4:00 pm on Friday. They didn't have my brushed nickel finish and they said that they could get it in by tomorrow or Tuesday as it was New Year's weekend and that they would pick it up. Then they said that the place was closed the next day, Saturday and they couldn't pick it up until Tuesday. When I called at opening hours on Saturday, the next day to cancel my order because my husband didn't like the faucet I selected and said that it was too expensive. They told me that there would be a 25% restocking fee. There is no way they would have to pay this $100 restocking fee as they never picked it up. They said their sign was clearly up at the register about no returns. I was going to buy some flapper parts for my toilets and he said that no problem with returns if they aren't correct. Thankfully I decided not to buy them as I was going to come back to pick up the faucet and could make sure I had the correct one. So they led me to believe that a return was easy! They should have mentioned this fact to me that they do not accept returns on the faucet. The salesman said when I asked to refund my credit card, that they needed to charge a 25% restocking fee because he would be stuck with the faucet. He just said that they just sold the same one earlier so it seemed obvious to me that they stock this faucet as it seems very popular. I'm sure they get a lot of people who are used to being able to return items especially if it wasn't even sent yet. So buyer beware. Do your homework before going into this store! They are very expensive and do not accept returns. They would have done a store credit though. Yes, because their prices are so high! They are not service oriented at all!!!!! Brought in a Moen kitchen sink hose that needed to be replaced. The gentleman told me it was my lucky day and that they had the replacement part for $50. When I arrived home and unpackaged the hose, I noticed it was similar but not the same. When I tried to return the unused product the owner said he did not accept returns (despite his employee giving me the wrong product). He then proceeded to ask if I had a "crappy" faucet from Home Depot. Do not use this business and beware they do not accept returns. read more

Today was the 2nd time I went to this place. I needed an O-ring for a glacier bay faucet cartridge. I started explaining that I need o-ring for it and before I finished, the guy told me that the cartridge is broken and I need a new one. I asked if he had one and he went in the back to look. While he was looking, I thought about it and figured that if the cartridge was broken it will leak but not the way mine leaked. So when he came back with the part, I explained when it leaks and he agreed that I need a new o-ring but said that they (sounded like he meant manufacturer by they) don't make just o-rings. So then I took it and looked at it and had a question about an extra part on top that I don't need and could just remove and then I asked how much it cost. Without scanning anything anywhere, the guy said $19. And I said, "Oh" handed it back him and left. I'm sorry but the whole faucet is probably $35. So then I got motivated and went to Menards, went through the o-ring cabinet, got 3 that looked like they would fit, went home, and put in the first one and it fit fine and no more leakage. Cost me 66 cents. Then I went online and searched for the whole cartridge to check if price was fair on the whole thing. $8.89 at home depot and the local store had 2 in stock. But the thing that bugs me is how he was not willing to match the o-ring for me and wanted to sell me the part at double the HD price. Really? Years of experience and knowledge and they don't have o-rings and don't know how to match them? My first visit, years ago, was uneventful. They did not have the part again but at least they made a better effort to really help me. Maybe because they had nothing they could sell to me at more than double what it should cost. On matching O-rings: The new one will look slightly smaller than the old one. This is because they stretch with use. Depending on how big the o-ring is it will be more or less noticeable. On my bathroom faucet one, it was almost the same size (so very, very little smaller). A bigger (2 inch o-ring) will almost look the wrong size if you get a new one by part number. read more

All the they care about here is money. They sold me the wrong part, had me pay double, and for what... for me to go all the way home to find out it doesn't fit. I needed to have a sink stopper ordered for my 10 year old Blanco sink. The universal stoppers didn't fit and the owner of the shop ordered an expensive Kohler replacement and told us that his "handyman" Steve, would come out to install it for $25 per hour. We agreed that Steve would be able to come the next afternoon since the part was supposed to come in in the morning. Apparently the part was received late and Steve was not available so we were told he would come the next morning which was fine. The next morning I called at 9 am to determine what time the "handyman" would come and I was told he would call me back in "a few seconds". 2 1/2 hours later I had not heard from anyone so I called again and was told that he apparently called the incorrect phone number but it was agreed that he would come out in the afternoon. All this time, I thought we were still getting the "handyman". A gentleman, Greg,arrived as scheduled, asked whether we needed anything else done while he was here and since I assumed we were paying $25 per hour, I asked him to do a few more tasks. He was very capable and pleasant but was here 2 1/2 hours. The original job would have been completed in about 1/2 hour. He then presented a bill of $312.00 for his work. When I told him I expected him to charge $25 per hour, he said that would have been the handyman's rate but that he was home with a sick child and could not come out that day so the job was given to Greg. Why had this not been explained to us before this man showed up at our home? Needless to say I was shocked and irate. I emailed the owner that day and received no response in the next two days. Then I called and spoke to him and asked why there was a switch to a certified plumber who charged 4 times what we expected to pay, he fabricated the conversation he said he had with my husband and claims he had suggested a "plumber" might be necessary (to remove the seal around the sink drain and reinstall with the basket and stopper). This was untrue as he never said anything other than that the handyman would be coming. Since this was not an urgent repair, we could have waited for the handyman as long as necessary. I feel that there was a deliberate attempt to extract a much greater payment from us for a job that absolutely did not require a plumber. A job that should have cost no more than $125 total, ended up costing us $400 including the part. There is no way I would ever recommend this company. read more

These guys are great! I needed new valves for a two handle tub faucet that was purchased at Sears and installed 28 years ago. Ferguson Plumbing Supply said they couldn't help me and they referred me to Just Faucets. My handyman also told me that he found parts to repair a 50 year old sink faucet at Just Faucets. My plumber removed the valves and I took them over to Just Faucets. They took one look and knew just what I needed. It took about 20 minutes and I was good to go. My plumber installed the valves and no more drip. The guys at Just Faucets are very knowledgeable about faucets and even knew who made the faucet that I had purchased from Sears. Very impressive. They saved me having to tear out the tub surround walls and replace the entire faucet just to fix a drip! Thanks so much guys! read more

These guys are the best. Any time I go there with a plumbing issue, they have the perfect answer or the part I need. They carry a huge number of parts for new and best of all, very old bath or kitchen fixtures. They also carry beautiful new fixtures. Just went there today hoping to find a new piece for the connection of a shower head. The piece I needed was stuck to the old piece and would not come off no matter what I tried. One of the guys went into the back and took the pieces apart-no charge. Problem solved. read more

With the world of Internet, it is very hard to select plumbing supplies without having any advice. So, I decided to go into the store and was greeted happily. After explaining what I was looking for and my price range the owner showed me a faucet about $100 over my range and swore by its quality. I underatand this is a local shop and purchase by in quantity but have always felt good knowing I was getting a great product for a little more. Of course my husband went surfing the Internet only to find the same faucet at multiple retailers for over $150 less. With a no return policy, I went into the store and requested some compromise as I felt very betrayed The owner was not in and the salesman claimed he had no authorization and would have the owner call me. Never happened. Very dissapointed and feel these local shops to should loyal to those who have supported them over the years. I usually never write bad reviews, but this time, I had to do it especially for something I never saw before!!! I bought a cartridge and the old man seller told me it was the right one. When my plumber saw it, he told me he gave me the wrong one and had to be returned the unpackaged item $55 cost. The seller very rude told me no returns accepted, but Itold him it's unpackaged and here's the receipt I just bought the day before, and what proof you got it from my store, Itold him here's my receipt and he told me I don't want to hear anything and all products bought are not my business problem anymore, you should go to Home Depot if you are not happy. I told him it's not nice at all and I left. My plumber went to Home Depot and found the right one for only $24. My plumber ( Excel plumbing) told me to never go to JUST FAUCETS in Arlington Heights because they are thiefs and over price all their items. I have a 50 year old Mixet single handle shower valve that was leaking. Home Depot sold me a cartridge that I had to special order. When I removed the old cartridge, after using a lot of liquid wrench, there was no way the new part would fit. 30 minute drive to Just Faucets. They took one look, and realized Mixet was out of business, and no supplier would have the cartridge. The guys Irwin and Lou, took the cartridge apart, replaced the o rings and the valve seat, lubed the inside, polished the case, and greased the cartridge. All for $20 bucks. They were like surgeons, resurrecting the dead. The faucet went together easy. It works better than new. read more
