A friend of mine told me about AFW and their incredible prices, and when we discovered the bed we're wanting is half of what Ashley was asking, we knew we had to go. This is like a mini IKEA, complete with a cafe inside. We actually had to ask a sales associate for help because they were all busy. We had Justin, who was so kind and thorough with our order. My husband brought his truck, and we took our bed home that day (some assembly required). I highly, HIGHLY recommend Justin to help with your furniture needs. This company was a nightmare. We went in and spent approximately 7k on furniture. The disengagement of the salespeople should have warned us. Most furniture was a quick delivery some of it we were told would take two weeks. That was ok. we had issues with some of the furniture and they did address the issues. The problem came with the two week delivery furniture. Apparently most of the furniture arrived at the store, but, they would not deliver until they had all the furniture. Mind you, they now had not only our money, but they were holding our furniture hostage. Two weeks became three and then it was going to be six. I ended up cancelling that ONE piece of furniture to get the remaining order. As I was told that they should have that one piece in June. They stated that they have a two delivery rule per customer. I paid money, you took it and then held my furniture hostage. If that is the way you work, why collect the money up front, get it when you deliver it. I also sent an email to the owner with NO response. Be weary of this company, customer service is almost non existent and being honest about delivery and their 2 delivery per customer rule is not told to you. read more

With a huge showroom floor with tons of furnishings to an amazing cafe with great coffee and amazing sandwiches, you'll have a blast shopping here. And on top of all that, the prices are incredible! We bought a couch and a loveseat from there when it initially got delivered the couch was soaking wet. They rescheduled a new delivery time for the couch onsite, problem is customer service never put in the delivery date. Receive a text message two days before it was supposed to be delivered for a completely different day when we weren't going to be home. At no time as anyone apologized for the inconvenience even after contacting them. Finally get the delivery for the new couch and the entire side of it is filthy. Call customer service nothing is offered to us not even an apology or any form of discount for delivery even after asking for an apology I don't get one. This review is based solely on the customer service we received from Steven. My husband and I were browsing around for a few king mattresses for our guest rooms. Steven approached us and offered his recommendation and we loved it. It was exactly what we needed and were looking for. He then guided us around to the bed frames and was helpful with finding out the stock/delivery time frames for each. We ended up ordering the 2 mattresses, 6 pillows, and a few bed frame sets. The prices are truly unbeatable compared to what we were used to on the east coast. Will update my review once we receive our items in the new few weeks. We purchased a large sectional in June 2025. Fell apart September 2025. It's only myself and my husband in the home. AFW came and picked it up, " repaired" it. Took over two weeks to get it back. Upon getting it back, it was back to same state prior to fixing within two days. They also changed the fabric when the " fixed" it do it didn't match the rest of the sectional. Scheduled another inspection. Guy comes out, tells the main office that we shampooed the couch, chemicals in the soap caused it to change colors and not match the repaired pieces. I called the store manager Michael who was very nice, and very customer service forward. Agreed to exchange the entire sectional of a new one. The delivery men came today, they were so incredibly rude and curt. Rushed and disjointed. At this point, I've had enough with AFW. After every delivery they send a survey. I rated them one star only because I didn't have the option to do negative stats, but nothing ever comes of their surveys. read more

After moving to our new home here in Texas, we needed to get some new furniture. Our Realtor referred us to the American Furniture Warehouse and we were so very happy with the options we had to choose from to help furnish our new house. We really enjoyed the no pressure attitude from the staff to sell us on stuff we didn't want or need. No one followed us around but every now and again stopped by to see if we had any questions and then moved off if we didn't. We went in a couple of times before we decided on exactly what will work and look best in our new home. One of the sales associates, Tara was a really big help as well has Antwon in answering questions, finding out information about our dinning room table and making sure we had everything we needed as we purchased our new furniture. Now we did visit a couple of other furniture stores and they were great, but in terms of price, quality and service, we were very happy with our decision to go with American Furniture Warehouse and based on our neighbors who have shopped there as well. Purchased beautiful leather living room furniture from Peter a great guy, a few weeks ago, 2 end tables were on backorder. I had to call customer service to see if the items were in.. Which they were. One end table delivered today. They other they found this Am was damaged per the delivery driver. No call from customer service as of yet. My first time in the store. I don't really get all the hate with this place I didn't have a bad experience at all but I also have it gotten delivery yet. Prices so the prices here are going to be exceptionally affordable and there is going to be something for just about everyone's budget. This is not a high end store by any means however they do have lots of stock and plenty that you can work way. Some of the prices are so good I truly expected to lift out a piece of furniture and have it be absolute c*** materials but it seems like they were actually good. Selection: So this place is massive and it is kind of separated into sections but honestly I think I found a couch one side of the store and then the chairs I wanted on the other side of the store so you are going to need to bring comfortable shoes but as I mentioned above there is plenty of stock. Some of the stuff that's on the floor however they only have one thing of so the 1st salesman basically told me if I wanted it to get it right away I'm not sure if they are commission paying or not. Service So service was OK but definitely more hit-or-miss and not really convinced it in the many times that I have been at this store. Anyway I do plan to order a few pieces from here but I am not sure how long they are going to last either way they're going to serve my purposes for now. Gripe: So the only thing that I truly cannot stand about the store is how they calculate delivery if you do up to a $1000 it's like 75 bucks and then after that it's 5% so it doesn't matter that you ordered a couch that was $10000 or 10 that was 1000, you are gonna end up paying for the same amount of shipping and delivery even though it's 10 times more stuff. read more

This is a warehouse and it is extensive. I was looking for a bed. I have been sleeping on my sofa for 2 months and had not been able to find a suitable bed. After browsing for an hour in AFW, I decided to buy a bed that day with Mrs Gomez,s expert assistance to detail. In addition, I was able to find other furnishings I needed (after a fire) which was everything for my living room except a donated sofa. The warehouse is overwhelming at first sight, but I walked thru the warehouse about 4 time slowly. I picked out tables, rugs, lamps, a chair and a hanging mirror with Mrs. Gomez,s assistance. Buying all these things I didn't suffer sticker shock. There's something for everybody. Make sure you check it out before buying somewhere else. read more

I have been wanting to come here for awhile just to check it out. Parking was fine nothing crazy. Store was laid out well and easy to walk around. There was no hassle from sales people to buy anything but they were attentive when you needed to ask questions. Once I was really interested in narrowing what I was looking for, Nyle, was great about helping us decide what would fit best for our living space. Nyle made the purchase process easy and made sure the items we wanted was in stock and would be delivered when we needed our furniture. Beware of the couches on sale. I bought a double recliner, fake leather sofa from there for 650$. About 4 months after owning it. I had my elbow on the armrest. While adjusting myself on the sofa, my elbow pushed down on the armrest. It made a big indentation in the armrest. It felt like cardboard that my elbow push down on. This is a 2 part review. The first time we had a good experience looking at the furniture with my son for my son and the salesman was very helpful. On our second trip our son made the purchase of a new queen bed and bed frame. We specifically mentioned to many times to count that we wanted the old mattresses taken away. Long story short it never seemed to make it to the invoice but we didn't notice so when they delivered the stuff they refused to take the mattresses stating that we didn't pay for it. We literally called the store to get this immediately corrected and they clearly got what they wanted and now we don't matter. I know we have some fault in this for not noticing it missing from the invoice but this should not be this difficult to fix. After the delivery guys left and several phone calls later they offered to send them back in a week or two to pick them up after we go back up to the store and pay $60. What a pain in the tush. We will not do business with this business again. read more

We have used AFW several times and the salesman (Tim) has always been very helpful and everything worked until it didn't. We purchase a sofa table and end table and scheduled delivery. Later that day we called Tim and added another end table to the order. He sent a link for payment that didn't work. Someone was supposed to call me and take a payment over the phone. No one called so I called the store the next morning to make a payment. After being on hold for over 15 min I was transferred several times and finally got to make the payment. Meanwhile they cancelled my delivery without letting me know. I only discovered this on the day it was supposed to be delivered. They wanted another 2 days to schedule but after some heated conversation they did set it up for the next day. I asked for a manager and was told that one would call me but they didn't. Bottom line is that employees are not trained or capable of acting outside the set procedure when something doesn't work exactly. Employers need to make sure at least some of their customer service people have some common sense before putting them in the position of dealing with the customer and resolving issues. read more

We love this place. When we moved, we got rid of all of our furniture and needed basically furnishings and entire house. The amount of items to choose from here is awesome as the place is incredibly large. I'd say we have been here and purchased items both to be delivered and for pick up about 6 times now and the people are always super helpful. The delivery people have always been very courteous and friendly and arrive exactly when they say they will. We did have an issue with a couch we ordered but they made sure to fix the issue for us. If you are looking for a place to buy everything you need in a house and at a good price, then we highly recommend AFW. read more

Josh greeted my husband and I soon as we walked in the door. We really liked his personality and energy. We were shopping for a new mattress. I'm not one to lay on each mattress due to my OCD and watching parents let their kids put their feet on the beds. Josh explained the differences in each type of mattresses and what would be best for me since I have a pain stimulator due to a bad lumbar and cervical. He asked if I slept on my side or back and got to know us. He took his time. He was not in a hurry to get his next sell. He focused on us. I was really impressed. He has been one of the best salesman we have had in a long time. He did not pressure us. Just helped. Ask for Josh if you want a really good salesman. We are very pleased with what we bought. The 1 and only star America Furniture store is getting is for the sales person, otherwise customer service is absolutely a disgrace managers never called back, and even I even made a trip to store and issue was not resolved, so now I'm stuck with a couch with one side being absolutely hard as a board literally, I had service tech come out to check, but was a total jerk. Customer service at this store is HORRIBLE!!!! Very hard to get a salesperson to help with purchase. I saw a particular piece that I was interested in (which had been sold), after contacting a salesperson about it, I was told that they had some similar. When I asked where in the store they were located, he told me "all over," and walked away. Then the salesman said that he would meet at the barstools that I had picked out, by the time he made his way over there, the couple near us bought 3 of the last 4 in stock. I shopped at a number furniture stores prior to AFW and I couldn't beat the value and quality of the leather sofas, side chairs, and dining sets. The service is good as well. I had an issue with a love seat and AFW sent a professional crew to the house and did some troubleshooting. The service men were very kind, yet focused on their job.
